My feeling were not hurt as I do not even know Glassman. Just rubbed me the wrong way. I know it is easy to go a little crazy with a thread too ( wink ) Im certainly no angel... Thanks for the reply..

CJane - I will definitely add your mom to my prayer list. My mother had a bleed in her brain - on the basal ganglia (area that controls motor skills). She was originally in a rehab facility after breaking her hip. She was doing so well and then one day while visiting I noticed she was talking funny. Took her to the emergency room and sure enough she had a bleed.

Long story short - she is back at her villa doing well. She was not paralyzed (thank goodness), but her memory and speaking ability was affected. It comes and goes but for the most part you'd never know she had a stroke.

Just know we are all praying for her and your family!

I did write to the reporter to thank him for helping to spread the word, and asked him to keep us posted with follow up articles, so hopefully he will.

Jeanessa, maybe you could contact him also and give him the specifics about your site and how people can be included in the lawsuit and maybe that would be enough to get him to write another article?

At the very least, we could all go to our local newspaper website and forward this link and some of the others to the editor, and maybe they will do an article too?

That way we could help to get the word out to those who are not on the internet (as much as some of us are) :wink:, for instance those who only joined because they read about it in the WW magazine.

I emailed them on Monday, when I thought that's what we all were supposed to do, and have not heard anything back from them yet! I at least expected to hear from them, so I can reject the refund and say I've decided to stick with the lawsuit instead. I'm feeling kind of left out

The email thanked me for my patience and said "they" were in the process of issuing refunds. I hope Kimmer, oops..I mean "they", don't overestimate my patience. Or my willingness to call her attorney's office every 30 minutes, asking where my refund is, starting Monday morning.

No such thing as a stupid question. The originating IP address will be in the header of the email. Most email clients like yahoo or hotmail or outlook are default set to not show all that extra clutter. You can change it so you see them always or for a particular email. Interesting the multiple personalities that use Heidi's computer.

Yes. Each provider has their own series of addresses that are assigned to subscribers. I suspect since the addresses listed here are not pointing to Corona Ca that she is using a proxy or spoofing her ip. There are a number of programs available to do that and that is no doubt how she checks in here as I assume a banning from this or any other site would be both user name and ip address.

Does anyone have old emails from her or KK that they haven't deleted that have different IP's?

I am keeping this vague for now but I am thinking.....ALways a dangerous undertaking

Just to reiterate how Kimmer uses success from Atkins as part of her own-
Brian started Atkins Jan 07- He lost approx. 60 pounds on Atkins and now has lost 14-18 pounds on Kimkins.
That picture of his before was taken in mar/april 07, according to what I found in his "photo bucket account" so the before picture was not a currentbefore, because he started Kimkins according to his introduction date on 11/01/07.

I think those receiving a response has been done randomly. Maybe between Kimmer attempting to post on Kimkins, take her blood sugar readings, and pretend to be other people. I am sure she has just been soooooo busy with those things and don't forget attempting to photoshop images!
But seriously, you could send an email now to the same email you used when requesting the refund, cc yourself, and notify "Kimkins.com" that you are no longer interested in the refund, because you are pursuing being a plaintiff in the class action lawsuit. I would think you could cc: John Tiedt for added effect.

Allison this is totally up to you, but you can always opt out of getting the refund directly from kimkins and join the class action lawsuit in order to make Heidi face her fraudulent practices in a court room. I think this is the only way Heidi will ever stop! Just my opinion and you do what you feel is best, but that is why I say reject the refund.

ETA- Yup, Kat beat me to it, but I totally agree! If she still sends the refund to your paypal then deny it through paypal. Very simple to do that way.

Them banning me was the extra push I needed to join the lawsuit. Until that point in time, I was on the fence. It does tick me off that Heidi lied about losing the [supposed] 198-200 pounds, and had I known it was all a lie, I never would have joined her bogus site. But the short answer to your question is that yes, they messed up when they banned me.

Hi SMP- I posted my response to the posts regarding Galssman some pages back and my reasoning as well. I think her passion and zealousness were something we all could appreciate but did make for a "chomping at the bit" attitude in her response. Whether that is good or bad is up to each individual's interpretation, or what side of the debate a reader is on regarding the saga. I know the kimkins members were not happy with Glassman's attitude. LOL
But overall I think the comments at LCF in general were positive for the show hosting the segment and also in the job the hosts and producers did in making things flow as well as they did. Even those members who may have stated things in jest also stated positive aspects regarding the show. IMHO

If anyone would like to thank the show's producer for moving the show to Monday to allow more focus on Kimkins, or for producing the show in such a fashion to allow the discussion to focus on the unsafe practices of diet as well as the scam or anything else....

Playing catch-up because I took a semi-break from Kimkins sleuthing for the last few days.
The whole thing of Kimmer being back at kimkins really got me out of sorts. To think that she was back acting as if everything was normal and spewing her lies again...well, just was more than I could stand to read!
But...over it and move on!

Cheryl, do you use Outlook Express? If you point and right-click the email in your inbox, it will bring up a little window where you can click on Properties. It will show you the header, in which is the originating IP address.
