I agree. It makes us look like the "haters" the people on kimkins claim we are. I don't think it's necessary to comment on how they look. Heidi is a different story because she used a fake picture.

Just saw a preview of the M&J show for Monday and they are picking up where they left off ..... diet scams. Should be interesting.

CJane - I will definitely add your mom to my prayer list. My mother had a bleed in her brain - on the basal ganglia (area that controls motor skills). She was originally in a rehab facility after breaking her hip. She was doing so well and then one day while visiting I noticed she was talking funny. Took her to the emergency room and sure enough she had a bleed.

Long story short - she is back at her villa doing well. She was not paralyzed (thank goodness), but her memory and speaking ability was affected. It comes and goes but for the most part you'd never know she had a stroke.

Just know we are all praying for her and your family!

first of all WTH? why would they send it to the wrong email address???
so now what do I do? I want to be able to refuse it and be in on the lawsuit.

I'd reply to Paypal and email Kimkins support that you refuse the refund.

Did you pay through PayPal with a Credit Card? Check your card. Also...what is with payments coming after her cutoff date?? Can she do that?

Kat it was dated late yesterday. I dont remember how I payed, Jeanessa was going to get back to me when she gets the time, but good point I will check with CC. I am on hold now with paypal...this is so weird as my paypal acct IS to this email address? It's gettin my hackles up feeling like a scam!!!!

Diva Di, I replied to "Noelle" and said "forget it, I want to continue to pursue this through the lawsuit". "Noelle" e-mailed back some fluff junk, and I answered that none of this would have happened if they hadn't banned me for no reason. "Noelle", pretending to be new to the organization and completely innocent, e-mailed me back that she couldn't address anything that's happened. Yeah, sure Noelle!

well the weird thing is that my affadavit somehow was not sent (it is in todays mail tho

) so maybe I will reply:

Tanner, I'm the one who suggested Glassman might have been hyperthyroid, in response to another member's supposition that she'd never been overweight a day in her life. Any "hypers" that I had known had struggles to keep their weight up before surgery. That's what I agreed with, that and her terribly alert pose. Others took my comment and ran with it. Very GOOD article! (or is it artical?)

I just wish he'd included a link to the lawsuit website, or at least let folks know that they can still join the lawsuit.

I did write to the reporter to thank him for helping to spread the word, and asked him to keep us posted with follow up articles, so hopefully he will.

If anyone else would like to write him, his email address is posted at the end of the article. If he gets enough response from this article hopefully he will write more.

Jeanessa, maybe you could contact him also and give him the specifics about your site and how people can be included in the lawsuit and maybe that would be enough to get him to write another article?

I wonder if there is a way to get the AP or UPI to pick up this story and get it some national circulation? Anyone have any idea how that works?

At the very least, we could all go to our local newspaper website and forward this link and some of the others to the editor, and maybe they will do an article too?

That way we could help to get the word out to those who are not on the internet (as much as some of us are) :wink:, for instance those who only joined because they read about it in the WW magazine.

We can all help!
