As with anything in our lives, there is always room for improvements. Postive changes are being made daily. And we will continue to make positive changes.

For those who had bad experiences or do not want to remain here, we understand.

For those who had good experiences and do wish to remain here we are happy you did.

The oddest thing seems to be trying to make positive changes and improvements and then having people fight us for it. They say "Well that's not Kimkins then." . Kimkins will still be Kimkins, even if it is a new and improved version. No diet is perfect for everyone and not everyone will do Kimkins the same way. DO use common sense and DO listen to your body. It's perfectly fine to EAT and to even snack when hungry IF you follow the food guidelines. You will still lose weight. Interestingly I have noticed people up the calories and veggies and many don't even slow down in weight loss at all. And better still is I have noticed if someone is stalling if they RAISE the calories for a week or so and maintain, many times lowering them again slightly gets things moving again.

So what do you guys think?? The last one was posted by TT
I think that Kimmers does not roll that way? .. we will see...

Here's the but :

Well -- she did promised the LC World didn't she?!
She was going to clean up KimkiMs / Heidi's site!

Man talk about a "B-slap in the face" for Heidi Diaz..

Where was this? I didn't see it. What did the producer say?

That will really piss me off if they're not willing to enforce their own statutes unless a certain threshold is met. Fraud is fraud if it's done to one person or one thousand.
You're absolutely right!

Winslow ate tuna & mayo, which is VERY LOW CARBS.
Snowrose used Fat Fast, which is VERY LOW CARBS (and only 1000 calories).
Melody I don't recall how she lost, except that she looks great!

Bottom line is that the "big losers" all lost on VERY LOW CARBS. My way wasn't any different. My 'net' carbs were probably less than 10 most days.

While I'm flattered at "Kimkins", it's not a new program. It's Atkins. Keep carbs very low, lose your appetite, be satisifed with less food ... or any food if you've totally lost your appetite!

Now look at this insightful post further down the thread:

The rise and fall of the Kimkins Diet (CalorieLab Calorie Counter News)

Kimkins Diet lawsuit filed, class action certification sought (CalorieLab Calorie Counter News)

Attorneys for the former Kimkins members have filed a writ of attachment on Ms. Diaz’s Corona, California, Citibank account and her PayPal account, and have been authorized to secure up to $1.6 million. The amount of Ms. Diaz’s assets is unknown, but the attorneys believe that 38,000 people joined, paying as much as $60 apiece.

The request for attachment was supported by affidavits from 29 individuals stating that they would not have purchased a Kimkins membership had they known that the “after” photo of Kimmer and her 198 pound weight loss claim were false.

In addition, chat and messaging transcripts between Ms. Diaz and Kimkins Web site administrators were submitted to the court by the attorneys, who characterized them as demonstrating that Ms. Diaz was maintaining a false identity and managing her assets with the intention of becoming “judgment proof” (financially immune to paying legal damages).

In the transcripts, Ms. Diaz is quoted as saying, “If you had a bad car accident — broken arm, concussion, but hit a poor person with no insurance, you could not get a lawyer. There is no ‘recovery.’ There is no money to receive. It’s the same with Kimkins. There is no $$$…. No lawyer would touch it,” and, “Unfortunately for this brilliant attorney, he is going to be disappointed to find that there is no pot of gold for recovery in the suit. Heidi collects the revenue, but does not keep it.”

Ms. Diaz is also quoted discussing tactics for dealing with critics of the diet, including “moles” in the Kimkins forum and blogger Jimmy Moore.

Just my opinion, for what that's worth ...

There certainly wasn't any warning on the Kimkins site that said "Caution, this diet may ruin your health" or even, at the very least, the courtesy of a warning about the Known side effects, that you get when you choose a prescription drug.

"Caution, this diet may - cause dizziness; chest pains; your hair to fall out; your heart to have palpitations; your metabolism to be destroyed; your bone mass to be depleted; disrupted or additional menstrual cycles; or eating disorders."

I think they solved the mystery up the thread a bit. It appears to be one of those rubber bracelets people wear for a cause, in this case, wellness.

My feeling is that Heidi could have lost enough since August when the PI photo was taken to look like the after photo from the side, but it would take a lot more than losing 23 pounds. Maybe by eating 500 calories a day and diet Coke fasting on the weekends, she could have lost 50-60 pounds, but with the stress of the pending lawsuit, I doubt if she has been able to do this. It's silly not to use real before photos when we all know what she really looked like before. It seems that Heidi is so used to lying and using fake photos that she is totally unwilling to even admit how much she really did weigh to begin with or how much she really weighs now. I wish the best for the others on her home page and pray that they stay healthy.

I think THAT explains the sudden refunds. Further light is shed by the most recent entries on the docket for this case. It's a race for her money, and she's trying to disburse it and move it around however she can.

As for effect of the refunds on the lawsuit, fear not. The $60 membership fee refunds will just be subtracted from the rest of what the Plaintiffs recover for the fraud and other causes of action which give rise to damages WAY beyond the membership fees. Truly a case of DAY LATE, DOLLAR SHORT for Hidey on this move.

I dunno.....23 pounds is a pretty significant chunk of fat.

If you don't believe me go put 23 pounds of butter in a shopping cart at the grocery store. It is a lot of fat.

Edited to add: Before anyone jumps on me for saying this, please note that I am NOT defending the woman or what she did.
I'm just saying that losing 23 pounds is a significant chunk of fat and I say this from my own experience from back in 1997 when I lost 26 pounds in a month doing Deal A Meal....and I was close to 300 pounds when I started that diet.
After that weight loss even my own sister noticed that I looked quite lot slimmer from the waist down (where I tend to store a LOT of my excess weight)

She knew with court coming up, she had to do something, lose as much as she could then claim victom and wallo in all that self pitty. Soon people (kimkinners) forget all about the lies from the past and fall for the new lies...

I really don't have any recollection of her before around late 2002, early 2003 when she mentioned that she was drinking a lot of coffee with several packets of splenda and a load of cream. Before that, I do not remember her at all.

I wonder if Evil Terry ever found his corned beef hash recipe lol

One thing about that "new" picture is the style of her wig. It looks a lot more like her old style wig (and certainly not any kind of hairstyle that is currently in fashion) than her surveillance picture wigs look like.

The wigs on the SP's look much more modern.

Maybe that is a clue about how old her "new" picture really is.
