click on quote to reply to this post. Then look at the top of the message box. Beside the smiley face is a paperclip- click on that-
Then click on browse to have the system pull the picture from your computer file.
When you find the picture click to open it and then click on upload
Once it has uploaded close the manage attachment window and post the comment. THANKS!

It may be that something is missing or that there is more to this than we have found yet??
Not sure, but there is a connection somehow between Coconut Grove Fitness Togehter and Fitness Guru Nick Clark if they are not one in the same.
But I have to go to any appointment so I will have to check back later.

Don't know....I noticed that too. Maybe the same person but it was odd to have in the press release Nick Clark as the name of the manager but then use Andy Clark on the website if that is the only manager?

No gap between his two front teeth and his hairline is much more receded in the first picture. Nope don't think so - but I could be wrong!

A straw man argument is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position.[1] To "set up a straw man" or "set up a straw man argument" is to create a position that is easy to refute, then attribute that position to the opponent. Often, the straw man is set up to deliberately overstate the opponent's position.[1] A straw man argument can be a successful rhetorical technique (that is, it may succeed in persuading people) but it is in fact a misleading fallacy, because the opponent's actual argument has not been refuted.[2]

Setup

A straw man argument can be set up in the following ways, by:

1. Presenting a misrepresentation of the opponent's position, refute it, and pretend that the opponent's actual position has been refuted.[1]
2. Quoting an opponent's words out of context -- i.e., choose quotations that are not representative of the opponent's actual intentions (see contextomy).[2]
3. Presenting someone who defends a position poorly as the defender, refute that person's arguments, and pretend that every upholder of that position, and thus the position itself, has been defeated.[1]
4. Inventing a fictitious persona with actions or beliefs that are criticized, and pretend that the person represents a group of whom the speaker is critical.
5. Oversimplifying a person's argument into a simple analogy, which can then be attacked.

However, carefully presenting and refuting a weakened form of an opponent's argument is not always itself a fallacy. Instead, it restricts the scope of the opponent's argument, either to where the argument is no longer relevant or as a step of a proof by exhaustion.

An example of a straw man fallacy:

Person A: I don't think children should play on busy streets.
Person B: I think that it would be foolish to lock children up all day.

By insinuating that Person A's argument is far more dramatic than it is, Person B has side-stepped the issue. The straw man person B has set up is the premise that "The only way to stop children running into the busy streets is to keep them inside all day", which is not person A's position.

Another example:

Person A: We should legalize marijuana.
Person B: No! Any society with unrestricted access to drugs loses its work ethic.

The proposal was to legalize marijuana. Person B has exaggerated this to a position harder to defend: "unrestricted access to drugs".[1]

The first picture is distorted and slanted, so it's really hard to tell. Yeah, the tooth gap and hairline could be explained, but without knowing for sure, it's hard to say they are the same person.

I managed to get them in the post by doing an advanced edit and then clicking on something (paper clip and the file name) that inserted the pictures.

I wanted to get them in as a side by side,

But it would be a big coincidence that Fitness Guru was named Nick Clark and worked for Fitness together, (based on his email that was on Kimkins and the website he gave on kimkins) and the manager of the Fitness Together in Coconut Grove, FL website is stated to be Nick Clark.
Also, if you look at the posts that he did on kimkins, which are no longer there, he mentions being manager and the expanding business.
Here is a press release discussing Nick Clark as the manager at the Coconut Grove location.
"Eddie Rodriguez owns the new Fitness Together in Coconut Grove, Fla. Nick Clark manages the studio at 3333 Rice Street Unit 101, Coconut Grove. The 1,284-square-foot studio has two fully equipped private training rooms and a cardiovascular area. Candas Construction was the contractor."

I haven't gotten to the end of this yet... but wanted to jump in and say that I connected "Nick Clark" to Coconut Grove the first day he arrived at KK. But, Honeybee I think the guy to the right (in the group photo) of the one you have the picture of looks more like the other pictures I've seen of him (Fitness Guru). Hope that makes sense. Anyway, the first night we started talking about this guy I did a search because I live in Florida and was interested in the fact that his name came up for both Sarasota and Coconut Grove and if I remember it right, he had just moved their recently. Don't know if this helps at all but... I thought I'd put it out their for you guys. I did have both sites up that night and don't know if I have the info on the computer... but I'll see.

Don't know if it matters, but was just trying to help Honeybee out if i could. And yes, I think the second guy looks like the dark pic and the guy next to him (third one from the right) looks like the other.
