I like to get my testosterone the old fashioned way!

The only other reason for a 10-22 log on besides TT tinkering with my posts is sometimes I "Google" a Kimkins page on Google, would it count me as being logged on TO KK? If thats the case some of her "100000000's logged on to KK crashed the site" claims are false too. Makes me wonder if theyre cleaning up my posts, ie the hospital stay in April etc.

<snip>Walford's theory is that if you eat fewer calories, you'll burn less oxogen in your mitochondria, which in turn means you'll produce fewer free radicals. The theory is obviously closely tied to Denham Harman's conclusion that the accumulation of free radicals is the major cause of aging. Calorie restriction thus becomes a way of stopping free radical production at the source."<snip>
Don't know if Walford is the best example of the theory~
Quote:
from Roy Walford - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Roy Lee Walford, M. D. (June 29, 1924 San Diego, California – April 27, 2004) was a pioneer in the field of life extension. He died at age 79 of respiratory failure as a complication of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease). He was a leading advocate of calorie restriction as a method of life extension and health improvement.
I don't consider 79 to be any great extension of lifespan I remember when he was in the Biosphere2 expirment~ calorie restriction sounded reasonable then~ after all, they only had limited amount of food~
Quote:
Dr. Walford was one of the eight “crew members” who were sealed inside Biosphere 2 where they lived from September 26, 1991 - September 26, 1993. Dr. Walford served as the crew's physician. During his stay in Biosphere 2, the crew found that they could not grow as much food as anticipated, so Dr. Walford convinced the crew to follow his calorie restriction diet. It is claimed that this action “produced dramatic weight loss and improved health.”[1] Ironically however, caloric restriction may have accelerated the course of ALS for Dr. Walford, as mice genetically engineered to develop ALS experience faster disease course and shorter lifespan when placed on a calorically restricted diet
How does this make sense? It didn't even work for the good doctor.

I call it MM&M. I have taken part of the plan M&M, from a diet guru MissM, but then tweaked it with the meth. You may find you are tweaking too with the Meth but that is a common side-effect don't let it bother you, just look at it as more calories burned!
I started doing the Meat and Martini diet and then incorporated the Meth into my work-out program to help me get "ripped" in bootcamp. I have never had so much energy and everyone tells me "How much I have changed!". They try to get me to be still or to even eat, but they are just jealous of all my weight loss. I have met new friends while during this new WOE and they always call to offer me more meth and support.
Everyone that is doing MM&M don't let the naysayers get us down...Hey we don't even let our loved ones detract from our goal of becoming skinny!
Sure, I have had some side-effects but no more than you would on any other diet and those other diets leave you losing maybe a pound a week. Hmmmm...skinny now or a year from now....like all those other gurus try to support. Thank you but I will stick with my MM&M plan and lose a pound to two pounds a day.
You will find when you are into the deep ketosis the dominoes really start to fall a few teeth will too! But the trade off of one's health is little compared with the reward of being skinny.
When eat (oops Freudian slip)...When it comes down to it you don't need teeth for 50% of this diet (i.e. martinis) and the meat can be ground up...I mean have you never heard of ground beef...hmmmm...come on this WOE is not rocket science...although, there is some basic bench science with a bunsen burner that you have to learn to prepare the meth, but it is a straight forward easy plan and that is why I came up with MM&M.
To prove how happy and well adjusted I am while on this program please see my current pic....I am still a work in progress and don't see me stopping MM&M anytime soon, but you can see what this WOE can do for you!

Ok there is a little unwanted chin hair but I usually pull that out when I am really anxious and scratching around to occupy myself, so that hair will be gone after my meth workout later tonight at 3 am...besides that I am skinny! So duh, who cares....this WOE is working!

don't forget the "new" banning says you have access to linmited parts of the site as part of her method to avoid the charges of fraud for removing your life time mebership.

Go to your cookies and dump the kimkins.com cookie and then when you look at the home page or the links of the brides in the blogs it will not have you logged in.

If you examine those studies, you'll find that calorie-restriction can be quite beneficial, but comes with warnings that people do well to heed. Dr. Atkins quote was about a nutrient-rich diet that just happened to be lower only in calories. The Okinawan diet was based mainly on seafood and vegetables. There were no starchy fillers to add bulk - no grains, and certainly no "lettuce leaf" devoid of vitamins and minerals. Apparently they ate little or no rice.
Kimkins is NOTHING like those quoted diet particulars. Okinawans for sure ate no highly processed foods and diet cokes. So take a sea-food based diet fresh from the sea, and you automatically are eating a nutritious diet, quite unlike that where land mammals provide varying degrees of nutrition according to THEIR diets, are plumped up with hormones, antibiotics, plant and animal wastes.
Can Kimkins be modified to equal the Okinawan diet? Likely so, but at considerable cost and effort. For people with no desire to eat, that's too much to ask.

Nice try on their part, but no cigar! When I signed up, a lifetime membership meant full access, included an "e-book", which was over a year in the making and turned out to be a joke, and included "one-on-one coaching" from the guru herself, the one and only Kimmer. I am not getting the benefit of what paid for. It's called bait and switch - they can try to claim that my access to limited parts of the site means they didn't commit fraud, but as Dr. Phil says, that dog don't hunt! If Sears Roebuck didn't get away with bait and switch, neither will Kimkins.com!

Mine must be set to High as well, but even so, there was a place to click on the first page of the bride sites that permitted voyeurism. I just didn't click!

Here's a quote from a recent study referring to the same Spanish one that Tippy mentions:
Quote:
Several leading authors have cited a study by Eduardo Arias Vallejo [2]1 published in 1956 in the Spanish journal Revista Clinica Espanola as the only example in the medical literature of calorie restriction in humans in which good nutrition was practiced [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]and [6].

After examining the original Spanish article, we believe that there was no calorie reduction, but that there was a pattern of eating in which on alternating days subjects ate less and more than their daily caloric requirement.

The study was carried out in an old age home run by a religious order (St. Joseph) in Madrid over a three year period on a population of 120 men and women “in perfect health” over the age of 65. Sixty treatment subjects were fed on odd days of the month a diet containing 2300 calories with 50 g of protein and 40 g of fat. On even days, they were given one liter of
whole milk and 500 g of fresh fruit (about 900 calories).
An average of 1600 kcals per day for people over 65, who presumably aren't especially active (since they're living in a home) - doesn't sound much like KK, does it? Even the low cal days are higher than the new improved KK cals!

(The effect on health of alternate day calorie restriction: Eating less and
more than needed on alternate days prolongs life

Yes, I was banned as HoneyBee and the only log in I can do under that ID is just on the homepage. But I also have access now to another ID and password that I am able to use for screen shots, gathering new posts and just plain nosing around.
Here is what Kat and I were talking about regarding the log-in on the homepage:
Quote:

When I was an active member on Kimkins I was HoneyBee. I have a way to check my log-in profile information and earlier tonight my last visit stated that it was like 10-04-07.
I will occasionally log into the home page to verify that when I click on forums I still get the TOS violation screen. I do this to show that my account has not been active for that part of the website, in case Kimmer pulls a "glitch" fix at random.
Tonight I logged in under honeybee, then went and checked by another Id what my last visit date was now, it does say 10-27-07. SO that date is the date you log in period, not just access to the forum. But most do not log in at all that is why I asked Susique if she had logged in for any reason.

Now some people have the cookies in their system where they ask the computer to remember them and when they go on the homepage it is logging them in. How would you know?...If it says your name and shows your avatar it is logging you in.
Did that make sense at all....it's late.

Actually, Honey, I cleared my cookies and tried to log in to KK under both names and then went back to check and mine stayed with my banned date, so I really don't know how it all works, lol.

You can't see the success stories or click on the other tabs at the top of the page? I can see all those but I am blocked from the forums under HoneyBee.
If Not.........Well, she must have done a SPECIAL BAN for you girl. I mean when she banned you she really banned you then??!??!
What I will do is take a screen shot of my honeybee profile now. It will show where I logged in like I said early this am. Then after midnight tonight I will do another one and see what it says, after which I will log in and see if the date changes. That should show at least what is happening with some of the accounts.
Some may think is it important?? Who knows, because little things along the way have led to other discoveries so let's just say for now it is because curious minds want to know. By curious minds....I mean me.
