Welcome back! I am a former Kimkins member who in now a member of "Banned Camp" along with Bobbi...I mean Cheryl. BTW- Cheryl you are still there at kimkins as of 4am the 16th of October, but you are still using the screen name kimmer gave you Bobbi(something).
She's unreal! Keep track of that if you can. Screen shots? Since she sent a cease and desist the info will probably come in handy. Right?

Yes! I've never been there. I've never even been out of the states. Kerry isn't on the tour (doing a tour package). Is Kerry anywhere near Dublin, Kilkenny or Killarney?

Can a High-Fat Diet Beat Cancer? - TIME

For those who are too lazy to do dishes or read the whole article
I just pasted the most important parts for you. If they don't make sense - read the artical

Since early 2007, Dr. Melanie Schmidt and biologist Ulrike Kämmerer, both at the Würzburg hospital, have been enrolling cancer patients in a Phase I clinical study of a most unexpected medication: fat. Their trial puts patients on a so-called ketogenic diet, which eliminates almost all carbohydrates, including sugar, and provides energy only from high-quality plant oils, such as hempseed and linseed oil, and protein from soy and animal products.

What sounds like yet another version of the Atkins craze is actually based on scientific evidence that dates back more than 80 years. In 1924, the German Nobel laureate Otto Warburg first published his observations of a common feature he saw in fast-growing tumors: unlike healthy cells, which generate energy by metabolizing sugar in their mitochondria, cancer cells appeared to fuel themselves exclusively through glycolysis, a less-efficient means of creating energy through the fermentation of sugar in the cytoplasm. Warburg believed that this metabolic switch was the primary cause of cancer, a theory that he strove, unsuccessfully, to establish until his death in 1970

Four of the patients were so ill, they died within the first week of the study. Others, says Schmidt, dropped out because they found it hard to stick to the no-sweets diet: "We didn't expect this to be such a big problem, but a considerable number of patients left the study because they were unable or unwilling to renounce soft drinks, chocolate and so on."

The good news is that for five patients who were able to endure three months of carb-free eating, the results were positive: the patients stayed alive, their physical condition stabilized or improved and their tumors slowed or stopped growing, or shrunk. These early findings have elicited "very positive reactions and an increased interest from colleagues," Kämmerer says, while cautioning that the results are preliminary and that the study was not designed to test efficacy, but to identify side effects and determine the safety of the diet-based approach. So far, it's impossible to predict whether it will really work. It is already evident that it doesn't always: two patients recently left the study because their tumors kept growing, even though they stuck to the diet
Hey, I resemble that remark. lol
Very interesting! Is it NO carbs at all?

If you are looking for something to add little extra pep....nothing dangerous...

One of my favorite products is the line from E'mer'gen'C

They are a blend of vit. minerals, and electroytes that you add to a small amount of water and they Fizz (oxygenate/effervesce). The vitamin mix is particularly good for women. Once a day is fine, empty stomach or with food makes no difference. They can usually be had for around $ .50 per packet from the local health food store. The origional "lemon lime" flavor is nice.

This is without all the extream "boosters" found in many products.
funny. wonder if he read the ingrediants and sees there is SUGAR in them

Where has everone Gone. (this morning) Minutes ago
I was out of town for 3 weeks and away from the computer. I come back and everything has changed again. Also there is like no one on the forums anymore. I only see 5 people here. Where has everyone gone. What the heck happened while I was gone.

Lots of people here...take a look at all the posting going on in challenges, newbie board and the like. You just are looking at it early in the am, which tends to be a bit quiet----only 6 am for those of us on west coast after all.

What do you think of Danielle Hauck the admin?
Could it be Kimmer trying to run the Boot Camp section since it limits calories? We all know how Kimmer loves to cut the calories for others.

I had to throw in this picture I just got of my brother's triplets.

Funny thing is the origional "lemon lime" has 6g carb per packet, but the "Super Orange" has 5.

This guy does understand the premise of the diet, right?

He's at least readed it?

Really? The Ring of Kerry is usually included in most tours unless you are only staying near Dublin. Killarney is a very pretty town in County Kerry. I am an hour away from Killarney. Dublin in on the east and I live in the southwest outside Tralee, where I put a plus sign. Hope you enjoy your trip, when are you coming?

ps. Forgot to mark out Kilkenny for you. If you draw a line from Killarney to Dublin, it's a little right of the center. It's on the map but not too easy to read.

WOW! what a handful! VERY cute picture.

Maybe I'll have to sign back up for bootcamp. I just don't know.

It does sound like it could be a phony name.

Oh, you'll have a grand time in Ireland! I've been there 3 times - never did a tour. It's just fun to hop in a car and drive. Kerry is on the west coast, Dublin on the east.

Thank God! AmyB threw in a response.

Well to be honest and blunt there are a bunch of people not here anymore. This is not big secret. I have no answer for that. But if you are looking for suppport then there are people here. I did a thread called roll call. It will give you a idea of who is around and what they are doing.
Welcome back.

Thanks. I have been hunting for it with no luck thus far. I'm searching via this site:

Netvue: The image search engine with full-size results

It's an image finder site. You put in what you're looking for and it scouts out pictures that are relevant. In this case, I looked for "patio furniture" because ever since I saw the picture, my thought was that (1) it's probably not an ad for clothes or she would be standing. I figured it might be an ad for patio furniture or it might be from a magazine like Better Homes and Gardens.

I also did a search here on Jaclyn Smith and got a zillion Jaclyn pictures, none of which matched. I know Jaclyn Smith has a line of Furniture and thought she might also have patio furniture -- thus a search for her pics.

I also went to the Wayback machine to look for archived pages from sites such as J.C. Penny, Sears, and Target. Unfortunately, most of the time only the text is saved, not the images. Oh well ... I'm trying.
