I was one of the first to sign up - possibly in the first 100. Back in that day, KK was the rebel board. It was supposed to be the board that was owned by all the members. (That lasted about a week) It was promised there would be no censorship (anyone remember that?), no banning, and there was no TOS, only a statement on the home page about seeing your doctor before you go on any diet plan, blah, blah, blah......

Corona is in the area where some of the fires have started. I don't think they have any evacuations going on there right now, although the fire in the San Bernardino Mountains might threaten them.

if that is where they are going the hike will do them in since they haven't been exercising as it is a very strenous hike unless you go by boat and take a shorter trail from the lake.

See this part annoys me. He promoted kk like crazy but he didn't do it, or even really KNOW how to do it???
And he insisted that he wasn't doing vlcd, but by sending people over to kk, he was pushing them to a vlcd.
And his "interview" with Kimmer was laughable. This was more infomercial than interview.

t/j which recipe you using? post please.

That e-book is such a crock. I remember getting it in my email. When I read the part that says 'here is the ebook", I was trying to find the attached file that had the book. Then I realized THIS was the 'book'.

Reminds me of my granny, who used to ask us where her books were, when she meant the women's magazines like Family Circle and Women's Day.

Just think they could email Leshya and ask her to meet them and then they could meet the REAL "Kimmer" too.

Honeybee - what if I just can't bring myself to do the raw egg yolk? Does that change the dynamics of the shake?

Kim just posted that she sent them a C&D last night and I am assuming it was after Ketosis posted on that subject with the Liquid Web policy information. The particulars of liquidweb's policy and how it pertained to kimkin's infringement on copyrights was something I had not caught before so good catch Ketosis! I did email that information to Randy Glasbergen this morning and Kat it is still there. Under the pie chart you see: A bit of "pie" chart humor for Kimkins members! If you click on the kimkins link it shows the cartoon. I just took a screen shot of it. See below

Yes, I bet she does, but she still has to follow through and honor the TOS by notifying those members by email. But you know how that goes.
I am not sure but I can ask the lawyer if it would help the case or actually I will run it by Jeanessa for her to ask him in order to keep emails to him down to a minimum. Thanks for letting me know.
Been really busy since the heat finally broke. I'm a candle maker and this is busy season so I've been pouring candles like a mad woman! Gotta get those shelves restocked for Christmas.

Ketosis. Sorry if my post made you feel bad. Please believe that it wasn't my intention although when I reread it, it was a little abrupt. Sorry ! Only thing I can say is I was posting in a hurry and didn't take the time to be kind. I sincerely apologize.

Now come on back and post. Like Dottie said, we love ourselves some Ketosis around here!

I wonder if Kimmer ever lost the weight that she claimed?

I have to believe at some point she must have lost alot of weight, then perhaps gained it all back.

What do you all think?

What Kimkins won't pay her expenses? What's the problem? Shouldn't the PR Director have an expensed account?

ETA: Oh, yeah, legal fees...

Now the shake is not pretty to look at but tastes great. I even got my 5 y.o and 6 y.o to drink it on the premise it was a Halloween "monster's brew" I put a thumbnail pic below. The little black specs you can see in the glass are the flax seeds.
You should be fine without the egg, in fact that was something someone else had done for the fat and texture and I snagged that from them. It is just the yolk...not the white, but I have a feeling that doesn't make a difference for you but I wanted to mention it just in case. I think Fawn does flax oil and she also has peanut butter. Oh I found it.....Those trying the Fawn shake!
Try this for some other ideas too.

Just think on k/e I couldn't have this shake unless it was made up of chicken and tilapia. Even on kimkins BC I would have exceeded all my vegetables for the day already.

ETA-TerryC I see you have been eating right because your skin and hair in your avatar look great and so young.

Not enough entries? I think Kimmer better get busy submitting those recipes. Under different screen names of course.
I would not be surprised if we some variations (exact copies) from Linda Sue's site, the recipe boards here or even from Dana Carpentar's book...

I bet this time of year is a busy one for that line of work. That sounds like a great job for you, because you appear to be so creative. Do you have a shop or homepage? Do you use "bee's wax"? You can PM me if you want whenever you get a chance.
Others have been gone too. I think many decided to take some time away to get caught up on things that have been pushed to the side while the kimkins saga has running its course.

Help...Hair is falling out in clumps! 9 Minutes ago
OK...Im trying not to freak out but its hard. I have been on Kimkins since June and all was well until about a month ago. My hair started coming out in the shower...small amounts at first. Then in more significant amounts.....would be all entangled in my fingers, etc. Now, I have had two I episodes where I have ran my fingers through my hair and a clump has fallen to the floor. I have been taking a hair and nail vitamin from the health food store for about three weeks now. Any idea what is happening to me???

Here we go....
