Cheryl...I agree, a hiatal hernia is also different. My Mother had HH and most of my sisters but my Dad had a hernia right where you say your husbands is. My Dad had heart problems so they had to do the surgery with a local in the doctor's office. He did fine but we could see it and it was about the size of a base ball. Even though the above pic looks like it and is in a similar spot...all my family with the HH did have problems eating. My Mom use to throw up at the table if she ate too much. Hence her only eating a couple of bites at each meal. After learning here about vLCD I can see now why she had heart problems.

What I'm curious about when I read the lawsuit is one member paid over $100 for her membership. How on earth did she get that when her publishes rates were much lower? At least we know that member joined the class action lawsuit..

heart burn and backing up of food are common but the main way that hiatal hernias are usually found---people present in the ER thinking they had a heart attack---severe pressure tightness in the sub sternal area---once the cardiac risks are ruled out then an EGD is performed and viola--a hiatal hernia

I have noticed he has been choking/coughing when he eats. When I asked him about it he said "oh it just went down the wrong pipe"

If kk is posting and using images after being sent a cease and desist can you not forward your complaint to her web hosting company? I am sure they will pull her site down if she is using copywritten (copyrighted?) content without permissions. I am sure the cartoonist knows that and is taking steps to do that but Kim and the others you should try bringing liquidweb in and ask for them to enforce your C&D.
