What a big...liar!!! GRRRR..
But also remember the majority of the members came after that discussion or after Kimmer had told her lies with that excuse and missed the whole idea that those members were not posting, because most came following the WW article.
The shear number of the new members made it impossible to even know who was who. At least it was that way for me, because I joined right after that article and it was very frustrating to even get answers to basic questions. Then also like it was said Christin was there and such a great success that many didn't question the other Success stories because they were not the cover girl they had seen.
Another thing I just thought of is I don't think you can search for a member by members screen name. In other words there is not a search member id function like here or on other boards.
I do know the search function in general there is poor at locating information and the only way I know to search a member is to put in the screen name in the search "forum" function and hope someone has addressed that member in a post within a thread, so I can grab the thread that they posted in. This may have been something that was lacking on purpose too.
Did anyone else notice that or was that a change after the WW article?

Yep, she does give a Kimmer type vibe doesn't she? Something about how she phrases things and her attitude does make me believe that too.

I tried to search for members before, and it was alot of trouble! Also, I never paid any attention to the success stories. The only one I read about was Kimmer's. I joined right after the WW article too.

Carolyn that may be why she reminds me of kimmer, not because of the exercise of course, but the idea of extremes. Kimmer is extreme in calorie reducing and Gillian is extreme with the exercise aspect. They both seem like someone with some twisted type of obsessive compulsive disorder when it comes to dieting.
You are right extreme anything is not normal to me either.

Which photo are we still looking for honeybee? Chair black shirt?

I would also like to add about tracking down success stories. I think anyone who has done lowcarb of some sort is a person to ask questions too . Everyone who has done the program know what has or is working them. What works for me may not work for you so several ideas are always great to take. I too all my weight off, and has some great ideas but someone who has taken off less or more i am sure would have great ideas. I put on some weight when my son was sick for a year. I have also learned a lot about what i should and will attempt to do the next time. I can show before and after photos. Mine are real.. but since this is the Internet who know for sure other than me? Well OK a lot of people know because i am not shy and a home body I guess my point is I have been here on this site for years, I didn't seek out goalies. I love to see the photos but I didn't blame you a bit for not looking for the goalies on kimmers site. I am sure there we all kinds of people will to give advise on what was working for them. You find a group of people you like, you talk to them, give suggestions and If your content you stay put.. If your hair falls out you look for other answers. All this in short is, why would you just search them out without a reason to? Or maybe this makes no sense.. dam cold pills to all of you.... show me the photo and while i am sniffling and blowing will look for a while tomorrow while the dish network is getting hooked up :hugs

edited for spelling... was looking like tippy there for a minute

Good point on the TOS violation. I stated I was banned without a refund.
Well, who knows but I will contact them again to be safe.
Does anyone know if the petition has gone forward yet? Might help to get the siggys and get it on it's way if it hasn't already been sent. Anyone know how many siggys it needs?

I'm between Park Ave. and Ski Run Blvd. Tahoe Meadows. It's a private gated area, and has been in existence since the early 1900's. Older DD graduated from South Tahoe High. So did step DGD, in June. Out of 93 homes/cabins, there are only 9 of us year round folks.

I know where Ski Run is but can't place Tahoe Meadows but like I said...haven't been there for a long time. BIL still lives there w/new wife, lol. Might have to catch up with you one day...

RE: success stories...those of us who came in after WW did "wonder" but as Honey said..it was so busy with about 40,000 new people you didn't have time to wonder long...you were lucky to even catch up with an Admin for a little advice.

I arrived after the WW article and was only there for about a month before getting warned about the controversy and concerns about the diet. That's when I really started taking a closer look. Prior to that, Christin's and Deni's success stories were good enough for me along with Kimmer's, of course. I really didn't pay much attention to the success stories scrolling on the main page. Oh, I looked at a couple of them, but I guess I got some that were either real or not as unbelievable as some. Also, I ended up in a challenge with Tana, one of the real success stories and she was always so encouraging that I just never paid any attention to the others. I did go find hers, though.

As for searching for a member, well, that whole software was annoying to me. I'm used to vBulletin, not just from here, but from other forums that I frequent. I found the software at KK difficult to use in many respects and searching for members was one of them. If I wanted to find a particular post by someone, I would try to find any post by them, then go to their user profile and search through all of their posts until I found what I was looking for. Very cumbersome, but maybe it was that way by design.

OT: I watched the LKL show tonight, too. I was also irritated that Gary didn't get to say much about his book. Dr. Oz was monopolizing the conversation and Gary was too polite to stop him. It seemed like more of an opportunity to try to squash his book than promote it. BTW, I though Gary looked a bit annoyed, too.

YES! When I was a teen-ager in the 60's my mom, dad, sister & I would come up every summer & stay at our friends cabins on ski-run. It was right there! It's long gone, and I am trying to remember the name of it. DH would be there every day if it were still there!

I agree, I thought it was going to be an interview with Gary and we had to listen to Oz, Weil and the best loser gal argue with Gary. Hope he gets to do other shows where they actually want to hear what he has to say instead of a debate.
