Well I am confused still but it is late lol. Still not sure if Winn and Sims are her lawyers or there to ensure she doesn't dispose of all her Kimkins millions when the judgment goes against her.

I think Winn and Sims are there to get what they can...they are on our side, not Heidi's. She may lose that pretty new care and her new computer and that nice red blouse and anyone want a wig? Might be able to sell it on e-bay!!

I am not sure if they were her lawyers already based on her pending case in December for her school loans. It is likely that she had already retained them for that case and they were just made aware of this additional case?????
OR
They were hired to protect her money since the filing of the class action lawsuit.

Hmmmmmmm....Bad Kimmer..so much fraud, so many court documents, so little time...

According to the court docket, a Writ of Attachment was filed on 10/18. This is something the plaintiffs filed to be sure that the assets of the defendant (Hidey) are secured by the court pending the outcome of the litigation so that there will be funds available to compensate everbody who was scammed when all is said and done.

A writ of attachment is a form of prejudgment process in which the court orders the seizure or attachment of property specifically described in the writ. Such property is seized and maintained in the custody of a designated official, usually the U.S. Marshal, under order and supervision of the court. Does the writ of attachment mean that the plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit did the filing or could it have been filed by the attorney representing the student loan case in December, when they noticed the class action suit being filed?
OR would it matter?
Am I correct that it doesn't appear that Heidi has been served yet either? I was looking for confirmation and did not see any.

Wasn't the max $60? Maybe someone bought one for themselves and a spouse, friend, etc.

Dottie, I think you are right. At the time Kimmer left, there had been a lot of people asking about her lack of current pics here and someone mentioned the link to her new site. I remember going on it and thinking how great she looked.

But I don't think Heidi is ashamed at all, that's how con artists are. I would feel nothing but compassion for someone who had mental issues and was so delusional. If she truly believed she was the red dress woman than why not do interviews, talk to the news reporter, etc? All the lies are because she needed to keep up the facade.

She is not crazy. Heidi is actually pretty smart, she just got too big for her britches (pun intended

) and too greedy. I think it started as a quick way to get some money, she was anonymous on the internet, everything was fine...then it just got too big, too much publicity, too many questions...and she couldn't keep up with it all.

I feel pretty stupid and cheated that she scammed me. I would never have bought into her plan if I hadn't 'known her' online for so long that I thought she was legitimate. I don't really care about my money, I'm just glad that she will be stopped from hurting others.

For a while there I was wondering what 1-100 Does was. Then I realised it must be as in "Jane Does" i.e her aliases. Does that include her accomplices I wonder (i.e TT?).
