I get kimkins google alerts and everyday I get 2 or 3 links to more articles spreading the word.
That is the best anti-kimkins diet artical I've read yet. Thanks!

I've been thinking about this for a while, and it really frustrates me that this whole thing hasn't gotten more media attention. I don't watch the news much, but on the web, I read CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. Each site has little stories, and most of them are so UNnewsworthy. Why isn't someone grabbing ahold of this story? We have 24 hour news stations with the same news over and over and OVER again. I wish they would bite on this one.

Also I sure do hope that in addition to the civil lawsuit that there will be some criminal charges there.

This is all just too frustrating.

Nice to see missi..and I trust her that things are moving along in a positive direction for the demise of the Kimpire.

Just right here at LCF's, we have dominated this area. Not too many folks left starving themselves at LCF's..which is one of our goals here for our friends..NO ONE on this thread wants to hear about any LCFer getting sick, losing hair, having heart problems because of being on Kimkins..We want all our LCFriends to be healthy as they lose their
weight..
Hey Carolyn, translating that into my kind of Canadian, eh? - I concur that we don't want to hear of any LCF friends losing hair and heart because of Kimkins. But that doesn't mean that we aren't interested in you that are still having residual problems, eh Carolyn? We do want to assist you in your struggles as you learn to eat (I was going to say better, but EAT covers it ), even if all we can do is hold your hand, pat you on the back, and help you wait out the body repairs. But, as Carolyn said, we don't want new cases of starvation here on LCF - that is dangerous and ultimately futile. Here's to health for all us losers! EH!

Not sure why this was moved. I was trying to find the post in the Playground that someone posted a few weeks ago titled "For all those that remember Kimmmers" or something like that. Oh well I guess it's moved now. The original post was in the playground...

I wonder if she's scared to leave her house for fear a PI is watching her or a news crew is waiting to pounce.

Does she feel bad at all about the stuff that is being said about her?

I guess I just can't comprehend someone like her.
Actually, I've thought this, too. I can't imagine never knowing when my picture would be snapped and posted publically. I can't imagine having told a really big lie or done something illegal and being caught in a very public way. I know Kimmer is immune from many of the feelings I would have, but I still would really hate to be her right now.

When she sent me that email with the pseudo-threat that "someone" was going to do that to me, it did make me start to pay attention to strange cars on the street and stuff like that.. then I thought "screw it" lol
So I have very little sympathy for her having to be on watch since she tried to make me feel that way.

Let me guess, it costs $59.95, you get to read it for 3 days then the inner pages disolve leaving you just the cover. You can't get your money back because you had plenty of time to use the information and they can prove this because they have screen shots. Am I close?

The book is very clever & this statement - is too hilarious! Yup, I would guess you are pretty spot on!

Now Bone is an endocrine organ!

After all the finger pointing at the new Kimkins doctor who shall be nameless due to his mixing up organs and glands, there is a stunning piece in the NY Times today about scientists and diabetes and bones. Apparently bones can release a hormone that regulates blood sugar levels, making BONES an endocrine organ!
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/16/he...html?th&emc=th

Wow, they've found fat isn't inert, but active in regulating glucose levels, and the further they look, the more complex the whole issue of regulating blood sugar levels are. But we know quite a bit about controlling those levels, and strict carb control is certainly part of it. Good thing, because I'm not sure if my bones listen to anything I say!

I found this a curious read. 1st, it appears that she deleted her signature but you can still see its Kimmer by the Qs being directed and how she answers. Amazing how she thinks the Atkins diet was changed (by others) for monetary gain.

((((Admitting that I have not read the extensive list of posts but I've asked this before and no one seemed to respond to it.))))

I was totally against Kimmer from the first time I registered with LCF, which if I remember correctly was late 2002 or 2003, but under a different screen name. It was SOOO obvious to me that her avitar was a fake and her comments conflicted at times. I was even warned by LCF administrators when I questioned Kimmer's posts and photos and eventually left this site ... but that was then, this is now, and we all have grown past that. I came back with the blessing of the admins here, and just stayed out of Kimmer discussions.

Then I was drawn in by others who "seemed" to have found the magic potion and I decided to try the Kimmer experiment ... oh how I wish I had never done that. I can only hope that some day I'll find my metabolism again.

Anyway~
I am still confused about Heidi being bald, if she didn't follow the Kimkins diet? How does that work? Kimkins has been making people lose weight and hair, why did Kimmer (Heidi) lose her hair? Is it possible that she once WAS 198 pounds thinner and gained the weight back?

Her ex-family said she has had alopecia for a long time. I don't think anyone knows how that happened.

Edit: Looking at the earlier pictures of her with her son (blue and white dress), it looks like she's wearing a wig there, too, so I'd estimate she's had it at least 10 years. The boy looks about 8 or 9.

I did email a bunch of networks today. Be sure to not only post links like the kimkins exposed, but make sure to include the reference to the TV station report. The fact that it already has had some TV coverage lends more credibility than just a bunch of websites if you KWIM.

I sent mine to:

1.) Health@MSNBC.com

2.) on the CNN dot com webpage, there is a form to fill out for "I-news" to recommend a story.

3.) on Foxnews dot com, on the very bottom of the homepage, click on "contact us". then on next page, left margin, fill out the box "send news tips".

I really don't know anywhere else to send them, suggestions welcome.

I still cannot believe Kimmer would be that d*mb to use a fake photo from a public site to represent herself. I mean, couldn't she pay like a real 28 year old relative or something to pose as "Kimmer"?

I just got an email from the Kimkins.com site:

"Hey, I've got a personal reminder for you

Hey there!

You know when you've tried other diets in the past and you didn't quite understand something or wanted more details? What did you do? Ask a friend or try to figure it out yourself, right?

Didn't you wish you could ask the diet inventor directly? Well, good luck! Do you really think Dr. Agatston (South Beach Diet), Jenny Craig or Jean Nidetch (Weight Watchers) are going to answer any emails from you? Not hardly!

But we do. You can ask our admins any diet question day or night, both in the Kimkins Cafe forum on the Kimkins site or via Kimkins Private Message (an exclusive Members Only feature!) "

I believe this is part of the reasons to join Kimkins emails I signed up for to see what they were all about.

Dr. Agatston, Jenny Craig or Jean Nidetch may not be answering your emails, but is Kimmer still around and posting? I thought she sold the site? And how does an Admin really compare to asking Dr. Agatston, Jenny Craig or Jean Nidetch about the diet anyway?

wow, I go to a funeral and come back and think no one has posted in the 2 hours I was gone...wrong!! Finally realized there was a new thread, duah, lol.

I got an e-mail from the Bay News 9 (FL) this morning and e-mailed the screen shots of TTs fund raiser....so people are listening, but slowly. We just need to be patient. Things are in the works and we will succeed at some time. Just takes a lot of people working behind the scenes and a lot of documentation as we do not want to give out any false information.

Love the Dummy book!!
