That article just won't die! I got it removed off the original place it appeared - ezinearticles.com, but I think it's still on other sites that pull their content from other places. So annoying! I've sent them an email to that web site asking them to remove it. I hate that the author made it seem like he/she interviewed me or something. Grr! Anyways, thanks for letting me know!

Edited to add: The original ezinearticles version of this was credited to Clark Johnson (but I've also seen a very poorly written version of this article that used all kinds of odd phrases. It was edited/rewritten in later versions). I think one of the blogs actually did a story about it!

Most of these sites I'm finding the article on are just pulling their content from article repositories to make content for their sites (usually full of google ads and affiliate links).

I'm curious who wrote the original article. I did a whois lookup on the web site referenced in the bottom of the article (Kimkins Diet) to see who owns it but they have WhoIs guard on so it's blocked. But, I think we all know who it is!

That sounds like about the right timeframe, Diana. She was repeatedly reminded that she promised to post an up to date pic. Sept '06 would have been three months after the site rolled out.

Well let's see.....

Mom and I did laundry yesterday

Today, DH is putting together a couple of shelving units we bought the day before yesterday. (Just moved - need some storage space in the garage!)

After DH gets done, I'm going into the garage to open more boxes!

Got a handyman coming later today to install a storage cabinets in two bathrooms. Why don't builders put medicine cabinets in new construction these days?

Yup - I do that too. When he's in the house I'm busy doing something and when he goes outside I'm back on the couch reading or posting. I do think we've got them fooled. Keep it up - it must be working.

On another note - does anyone know why 10/6-7 was a heavy period for banning?

Ok, I will.

I cleaned windows yesterday, not all of them, just the ones that we didn't get done when we took the AC's out of the windows last weekend. And then cleaned the venetian blinds.

Today I washed the bedsheets. They even made it into the dryer, and then I even put them back on the bed! whoo!

Oh, and I've already done one sink full of dishes today, and have the meat thawing to cook for dinner.

Heading off to the gym for a swim now, Don't post too much while I'm gone!

I really doubt that Kimmer delved this deep into Russian Bride sites. My head is spinning even without the Jack Daniels! The patio picture is probably an ad from Sears or Home Depot. Is the quietness of Ducky's blog, The Truth blog , Janessa, Missis, Cutie and all the others a cue for us to stop beating a dead horse? Is it time to let things happen behind the scenes quietly so that when Heidi hears the knock on the door it will be unexpected?
I still shake my head in disbelief that Heidi wood stoop to such a crazy fantasy life of Russian brides to make her site work and scam the masses.

Lesya's eyes were not photoshopped. There was another red dress lady who resembled the original Kimmer Red Dress woman (Lesya) and for a while people thought that Heidi did some photoshopping on her but it turned out to be the wrong lady. It's confusing isn't it!!

ketosis question 1 Hour, 43 Minutes ago
Okay I'm really back on track AGAIN!!!! This time for good now. I have a question about Ketosis. Is a headache one of the symptoms? I do feel pretty SNATTY and I have that funny taste in my mouth - so I know I am there. I just have a headache that will not quit. This is day three with the headache - will it go away? Or do you think it could be caffeine withdrawl? I have given up caffeine also because I gave up my diet cokes. Hmmmmmmmm. Let me know what ya'll think. thanks.

response 1

Re:ketosis question 1 Hour, 41 Minutes ago
From past experience I would say the headache is from no caffiene!

Many many years ago I tried to give up coffee and by noon had a migraine so bad. Dr said I was having withdrawls.

Good Luck!

Response 2

Re:ketosis question 1 Hour, 35 Minutes ago
I've read that a headache is a sign, but if you were drinking a lot of caffeine before and then just stopped all together it can give you some serious headaches! A few years back I dropped mountain dew. Oh lord I thought someone was killing me. It was horrible. Now, occasionally I'll treat my self to a diet pop (although I seem to have an issue with aspartame and splenda now). I do however, have a cup or two of coffee every morning. That is my caffeine for the day (and my sanity )

Re:ketosis question 1 Hour, 34 Minutes ago
They will have to pry my coffee cup out of my cold dead hands, lol! Will NEVER give it up. You don't have to either. That's the good news! Just be easy on the creamer. I use full fat half & half but I use on teaspoon to a GIANT mug. Sweet & Low and Splenda have one carb per packet so less is best. Just count the carbs in your daily totals.

Also, just a side note to say try to keep a minimal amount of calories at 800. The maximum you will figure out as you go. Just watch the scales and see what your "allowence" is but please don't go below 800 to start.
Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable

Re:ketosis question 1 Hour, 7 Minutes ago
I bet you its a combination of everything than - huh!?!?!?!! My calories yesterday were 733and the day before 620. I will up them today and see if that makes a big change and I will have some tea for the caffeine I think I am needing. Maybe I should ween myself from the caffeine.

Re:ketosis question 22 Minutes ago
Caffiene headaches are the WORST. For me they are at the front of my skull. I have been drinking this gypsy chai tea lately....has enough flavor it does not need any sweetner and helps with the caffiene.

Response 6

Re:ketosis question 10 Minutes ago
Oh my gosh SingingLass that sounds great - what is the brand and where can I get it??? The name itself makes me want to try it. I'm going to up my calories (Whoo hoo) and not completely cut out caffeine, just cut back and see if the darn headache goes away. I am just ecstatic to be in ketosis again. Thanks so much for all of your help.

I would keep copies and screen shots of everything. It may very well come in handy later. If there's a legal action I'm betting they'll be able to find out the information that's currently protected.
