Yeah she drove her van out of her spot down by the river just to go buy more sugar cookies [with sprinkles], go by the p.o. box to pick up more checks, and stop home for a change of clothes and BAM! she gets nailed with a summons. I tell ya, karma is biting her in the butt!

As for why I get letters, I think I'm a squeaky wheel! I can make a real pest out of myself when I want an answer about things.

I gotcha now. Oh, if they do I hope they wear the shirt that says "I am just SHY". Somebody posted a link to the shirt and it was perfect!

So still no delaying tactic from Heidi. I'm a bit surprised. She still has tomorrow to come up with something. I wonder if she really is going to stick with her ignore everything policy.

TT is an ... okay, I won't say it.

It was a trip with my father and my siblings (my 4 brothers and one of my two sisters). My husband couldn't get the time off for it. I almost didn't go because he couldn't. We've never been apart more than a weekend or a hospital stay but he convinced me to go. I was really nervous.
I left no instructions about the house but a ton of them about my daughter. My youngest son stepped in and really helped out a lot with that and my sister who stayed home and several of my girlfriends were at the ready if needed. Despite my fears it all went very smoothly. The house cleaning was a huge bonus. lol

I make an egg white flat omelet then when it's done cooking I add tomato slices, parm cheese, spices, heat it until the cheese melts and roll it up or eat with a fork and knife. Yummy!

Sound like you made an excellent choice - sorry dh could not go with you though - you have a wonderful family !

I've really never done anything with just the egg white unless it involved a dessert

Why did Brandon get served - is he part owner or was? Assuming that Tipsy has it now of course.

I would assume they need to determine ownership. He was listed as the site owner for a time, correct? I may have the terminology wrong but he was named on the whois information. They'll need to question him regarding his relationship with kimkins. What he knew, etc. Although the scope of this deposition is limited to certain topics, the lawyers will still dig deep within those topics to get as much information as possible.

I'm guessing that the KK gang knows that it can't touch that 1200 calorie post. How many screen shots of that are saved? How would that look to a judge?

Poor Hidey, TT & SL. Fingers itching over the delete button, and they just...can't...do it!
This would be a good opportunity the keep the 1200 cal thread alive then - and esp quote the original message..

The BBB has Brandon listed as a "contact" person, so he definitely has information. It would make sense that anyone with relevant information would be deposed. Tippy, pack your bags. You're going on a road trip!

The gov't issues warnings against eating fish with high levels of mercury; yet vaccine makers have ignored federal guidelines to phase the mercury out of childhood vaccines. I never let my kids get vaccinations till they made it mandatory to enter school - and then I made sure the kids weren't infants. In our family history, the vaccinated seem to get sick from various ailments quicker, while the unvaccinated did not. Nor have the vaccine companies proven conclusively that autism and vaccinations are not related. I prefer to take my chances on many diseases.

He isn't paid enough to do research. Secondly, the CDC recently stated that this year's vaccines are apt to be totally ineffective for something like 60% of the people vaccinated because the flu strains in the vaccines are from last year, while the current crop of flu strains have already mutated away and may be useless. But they recommend YOU TAKE A SHOT ANYWAY if you are very young, old, or in poor health. No way, Jose! Why risk what health I possess by putting toxins into my body with no conceivable great benefits?

I just don't understand how pharmaceutical companies can justify putting toxic substances into injections. It makes no sense. I haven't had a flu shot in years, but I'm thinking about getting one this year. My 76 year old mother just moved in with us, and I am concerned about getting the flu and giving it to her. But then again, I haven't had influenza in almost 20 years. I took shots for about the next five years because I didn't want to go through it again. After a while, I decided to take my chances. Still debating with myself about what to do this year.

Even if he's not part of the company being sued (which I believe a good argument can be made that he is), he can be deposed as a material witness. His deposition is scheduled for 11/2 according to the court docs.

Edited to add: I have reread my posts on this thread, and I do not believe I was rude, or sarcastic, or negative. I made a legitimate and heartfelt comment to the thread. Ever since I was a child, I've had the most horrible teeth. I just did a heavy metal test and was really expecting high mercury levels...I was surprised to find that that's not the case at all.
My dentist in Ontario (CAN) quit doing mercury amalgam fillings 10 years ago when the Ontario gov't no longer recommended them. Although I saw the official note, and it was careful not to condemn the past 100 years of "silver" fillings, it was evident that too many dentists and too much research had made the gov't uneasy about continuing to recommend them.
Ani, as long as your fillings are stable, there should be no excess mercury floating around your system. It's when you are having dental work on those fillings, or they start cracking and leaking, that they become more toxic. In which case, I would go to a dentist conversant in safe mercury removal, no matter if they have to charge extra.

Well, true to my apprehensions and given my reading of her intelligence, Heidi DID do a flit and only in the last couple of days was discovered. Those watching her were either falling down on the job, or more likely, Heidi had taken my (free) advice to do a midnight flight with an undisclosed vehicle. Whew, at least my powers of deduction haven't been THAT far out of whack! Hey, Honeybee, our "what-ifs" have great persuasive power, right?
