I know how you feel. Mine seems to have gotten worse. I used to wash my hair every day. Now I wait 3 days before washing it again. I brush it once, out of the shower, very carefully. I finger comb it the other days. The amount of hair that comes out when I shampoo is shocking. Every time I pull my hands away from my head I have hair all over them. Even more comes out when I brush it. Cleaning out the brush after one use is the amount of hair I used to clean out of it after a month's use. It's also just falling out doing nothing to it. I find it on the towel I wrap my hair in after my shower, on my clothes, bed pillow, the back of the couch, the keyboard, anywhere I sit. I have to pull it up when I cook now, too.
My hair is to the middle of my back. It's normally *very thick and curly. Now it's so thin and I have to be careful how I style it so that you don't see my scalp. I think I'm going to have to get it cut, too. I'm afraid to, though. Right now it's long enough that I have the length to pin across or up and over areas that are obviously showing scalp and I'm afraid I won't be able to do that if it's short.
I've added 10mg biotin, lecithin (just added this), magnesium, fruit complete, fish oil, kelp, and extra c to my daily vitamin regiment for a little over a month and shampoo and condition with nioxin products and still it's not stopping or slowing. I'm really scared about this and I get really angry when I read the uncaring comments of people who aren't losing their hair, TT, SL ... saying it's not a big deal or Dr. Mark saying it will go away in 2 weeks. I don't care how vain it sounds, I want my hair back!

okay my thoughts - he replied to an ad looking for a wellness/fitness expert? Then why Fitness Guru as well?

It is still driving me nuts (and does anyone have a screenshot of his original website?) but I swear originally it said he was a personal trainer (and guess then maybe he could answer her ad) but now it states he is working TOWARDS his certification (and thusly should NOT have answered her ad)

YET his bio at the hair dresser/cosmetology place states that he IS a personal trainer and STARTED his career as a personal trainer. But then again it also says he is a LMT, and we've found out that he is NOT a LMT either!

So, that wuld mean that kimkin/heidi located in California probably would not have placed the ad, but Tippy in Florida would have placed an ad in her local paper? Isn't the fitness guru also from Florida? Did he also answer an ad. If so that would seem to strengthen the case that Tippy is the new owner. Just specuating here.

It seems a bit strange to me that a successful practitioner would answer a newspaper ad. Maybe an internet one?

But if they claim internet, it could be tracked down.

I want to preface my post with the fact that I still feel Dr. Mark is not representing himself in a professional manner and is not being truthful in his qualifications, however I am doubtful that he altered his website since he came on board with kimkins.
Kim, I am not going to say you are wrong because I do not have screen shots of the specific area you are referring to, but I honestly don't think he changed his information on his website since he appeared on the kimkins staff, which was announced October 8th. I do want to tell you why I think he didn't change his site. I hope that if others have proof to the contrary they will provide it to you so you can document.
I base this opinion on a few things-
1) Here is a screen shot of the information showing the last modification of his site-(see below and click thumbnail pic to enlarge the image)
2) I was reading his website prior and noted the "working towards" certification. However, I didn't get screen shots, but I recall it because I even researched what CHEK actually was and went to their site. This was prior to you first saying there was a change. I would have not have been researching this CHEK information unless it had been there prior because I had never heard of the term before.
3) I had also written a letter on Oct 9th to the Medical Board and the Acupuncture Board noting his qualifications and this was a quote directly from his site that I included in my email letter to the boards. Here is an excerpt from my letter quoting his website-

This statement is again found on his website (bolding is mine)- "Licensed as an Acupuncture Physician by the Florida Department of Health.
Dr. Brinson is considered as a Primary Care Physcian. His license covers a broad range of therapies and testing. Included are all Manual Medicine and Physical Medicine modalities from Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, and Massage therapy. Additionally, all testing and
imaging (xray, mri, ct scan, bloodwork etc), injections, nutrition and addiction counseling as well as the recomendation of over the counter medications is included." Reference-FAQ

This quoted section, still reads as such on his website currently as well.
4) And another example of how the site was reading on Oct 9th, because I had copy and pasted in a word document this section of his site as well -

• He started as a personal trainer,then massage therapist specializing in pain and injury rehabilitation. From there he spent many years as director of rehabilitation then finished up his Bachelors requirements to
go back to school for Traditional Chinese Medicine. In January of 2000 he graduated his 4 year program as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine.

The site still reads the same in this example as well. The site does say- "He started as a personal trainer,..." but can the term personal trainer not be used because it is not the same as saying "certified" personal trainer? The certified aspect it states he is working towards.
These quotes from the Oct. 8th/9th date may not be the section you were referring to, but I must say that if he or someone is reading this forum and he failed to change his claims to Primary Care Physician, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy as being under his license I can't see him going in and changing certified personal trainer to working on certification. That to me would be one small infraction in relation to what is still on the site. Not to mention that the spelling errors are still there as well.

I have been searching for any ads in the Tampabay Craigslist so far I have not found anything not sure how they would list it. But Craigslist would be a way they could advertise and it is free. They could hit hundreds of Cities with the same ad I know they keep them up for 45 days.

I totally agree on this. This is what I would have done. Go to local people that you know personally OR know of personally and ask them.
