Cutie, you are SO right! Another "strike" against Amyb is that she posts at curlygirl's forum too. That just isn't allowed for long at KK's KGB run website! (LOVE the comment from someone earlier connecting Russian brides and KGB. Tooooo funny!)

This past Monday I switched from "regular kimkins" to KE and by Wednesday I had lost 5 pounds so I was really excited. Yesterday I weighed the same and then for some reason this morning I am 4 pounds heavier. I am a little upset but feel a tiny better after I talked to my coworker. She has been so surprised how my eating habits have changed for the better (I was the one always bringing the donuts to the office or eating the donuts )....but anyway she says that there is no way I could gain 4 pounds in one day especially since I am eating so healthy. My goal was to get to 200 pounds by next Saturday the 20th and when I weighed 204 the past couple days I was so happy but then this morning when I got on the scale and saw 207.5 I was mortified.

Any suggestions?

Could the new kimkins (version 87) be causing someone to actually GAIN weight???

I love how they're just winging it over there. No one even seems to mind that they're changing things without any kind of back-up to how they are for you other than TT claims it worked for her.

I just did a search on About.com to find the article by Laura Dolson on Kimkins, and the search brought up some Sponsored Links as well. Unfortunately, they are for the Kimkins.com site and the skinnyondiets site.

I did email Laura Dolson the Low Carb Guide at About.com, and she said that she will see what she can do to get those eliminated. But I also thought it might be helpful if we also ask About.com to remove those sponsored sites, especially since their own Guide has written an unfavorable review of the Kimkins diet.

Laura is looking to see if there is a specific email address for us to use to request the removal of the ads, and she will let me know. But for now we can certainly let them know through the customer service form here: About - Customer Care

you can email google too about the ads many of us have and informed them of the false advertizing the owner is using with the fake before and after pics using models,brides and grooms from russian sites; they questionable safety of the plan without any research, the ongoing frud investigations by the various agencies. if more folk email google about those ads maybe google will pull them from all sources afterall they surely don't want to be promoting fraud too.

JC Penney's used to have a pretty big section of outdoor stuff in their Spring/Summer catalogs and that was a typical pose for the patio furniture page. There was always some woman sitting sideways to the camera with her head turned toward the camera and the male on the other side was always standing up and facing the camera unless an umbrella was in the ad.
They shot them the same way year after year. It would have been the 90's rather than the 80's though.

Well, I too email the famous Dr Mark. Got a group reply from it. I dunno whether to write back in outrage at his tone or not. lol. I just asked questions about the diet itself. Nothing specific. I wasn't going to link in with the board so I might dig deeper. I still might. Course he might be on the lookout for me with Kimmers henchmen here looking over our thread. HOPEFULLY, I can remain incognito on this board and go do some more sleuthing myself as I am an unknown.

Not sure what to do first. Chip away at the doc first maybe........ I just don't like how confrontational he got. I mean, what if I really were part of Kimmers site and wanted his personal on the side take, not what is being written before Tippy and SS gestapos!

In my experience Kimmer had posted to a member and was not very supportive or sympathetic by telling the member to get mental help. I posted after Kimmer telling the member that I understood her etc...and that she had some options and went on to list them. I had others support my post, then Kimmer said Excellent or Good ideas HoneyBee and then I was immediately banned!?!?!? The Queen Bee didn't like little ole Honey bee threatening her hive.

So this is how she operates and that makes me think she is still there as well hitting that delete button.

Maybe laying a trap is the best way. Don't go toe to toe with him on an issue or point, because debating over there is not allowed and your posts would get deleted, thus only leaving his posts or side of things.
It would be better for him to hang himself with his own words because those posts would remain. Ask a question that is innocent in its appearance then let him answer, then ask another question that is innocent but by answering it he hangs himself.
Being sssssssssssssneaky is the key.
BTW-I hope you don't have pics up over there b/c of your avi here or at least hope they are from a russian bride site.
