Can't they track what computer the person is logging on from? I'm not computer literate so don't have the answer. Doesn't it have something to do with an IP address?

Too easy to buy a new (or used) laptop and sign in at your little coffee house down on the corner.

Moving to the Playground is an idea worth considering, but I don't want to exclude the most recent members of Banned Camp by posting in a place with restricted access. There's a significant welcoming process that takes place in this thread, which is basically the "guichet unique" (access point) for newbies. The ability to have information plus mega-support in one thread has been helpful for many people, and I'd hate to not keep this going.

There *are* other ways of keeping information on the down-low, however, such as PMs (which are "P" and not just "Ms" here!), e-mails, closed Yahoo groups, and so on. Just sayin'......

You hit on the thing I was thinking. I like the idea of having this information hidden from Kimtippy. However, if it's moved to the PG, the refugees from KK have no access to it because they are new members. I think that members banned from LCF should have no access to any forum, period, whether it's on the PG or not. But then again, I'm not the owner, nor am I an admin, so I have no say so about it. I just wish the banned peeps couldn't lurk, that's all. I want us to have a public way of sharing what we have discovered. This is definitely a team effort.

I think so ... the site instituted this policy a few years back. Unfortunately it did away will all the really funny aliases on the PG!

I would be almost certain that kimmer being the smart little, oops I mean scammer that she is has more than one computer. Like I said before, the ip thing can be easily changed. I had 5 computers going in my house at one point.

There are ways to have multiple ip too.

If she want's to get in and it's a public forum she will get in.

That was why I mentioned finding another option like the basecamp. Base camp is set up like a private area, and only the leader can choose who they allow in.

I was suggesting anything private be taken in there (or a similar forum) until this mess is resolved.

Use fascination as a bridge to keep others up to speed.

I personally don't need to be part of that private forum, but I think there are members in here who do.

I am so happy because I have found real ketosis and have no appitite due to that and SNATT. My only real concern is I am wondering something. Fasting is one thing but I am not fasting. So I am curious how long my calories can be really low before I have to worry. I have tried to keep them around 400 and have only managed that once in 4 days. Here is my breakdown from my fitday. I am trying not be be concerned but natural instinct is to question myself.

June 17th
188 cal
10 fat
5 carb
17protein

June 16th
373 cal
12 fat
4 carb
59 protein

June 15th
443 cal
32 fat
1 carb
36 protein

June 14th
227 cal
7 fat
1 carb
37 protein

OH PS
I can fit into my 18's again. I can button and zip the regular ones but to tight to wear out of the house. The stretch ones I have been wearing all day today. Tried on 5 different pairs of 18's today. I was having fun. I need to take my measurements again I bet I have lost some serious inchage since 44 lbs ago....
Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable

Did I tell ya or did I tell ya? It would happen!

Don't panic about low calories.

First up, you had gastric surgery and your doctor intended that your calories would go way down. Many, many post op patients stick around 500 calories for months, until they're closer to goal.

Second up,

Last up, think of all the plans that are designed by professionals to be specically very low calories: Stillman's, Optifast, Last Chance Diet, any water fasting program.

You don't have to fast specifically. When your calories are very low, and foods are small (quick) to eat, your body can finish the digestion process that much faster. When digestion is done, your body goes back to housecleaning and repairs.

Bottom line, as long as you have sufficient body fat you don't need to eat calories -- you're carrying them with you.

A person with 200 lb to lose is lugging around 700,000 calories!

If your body needs 2000 calories for the day and eats 300, the body will take 1700 calories from body fat (which is why it's there.) As you lose weight, your body will need fewer calories which is why weight loss naturally slows as we near goal.

You do want to stay busy (painting a room was sheer genius!) You do want to take your Centrum type vitamin. Most of all, you do want to let your body do what it does best -- take care of itself by dropping the extra fat.

If you've got time, read my post on the benefits of water fasting (article by Curezone) which explains about what your body does for protein during a water fast. Very interesting stuff!

How do you feel?
188 for calories for the day???
Yeah, she never said you're carrying around all you need in your body weight. Disgusts me!!

Re:Oprah's Monday Show. 1 Year, 3 Months ago
Chris, that is my maintenance diet! Lean protein, a ton of veggies, fruit and yogurt for breakfast.

Not terribly sexy but it works for me, and best of all, I don't have to think about it! Any plan that's automatic is the one for me.

I guess NOONE caught that when Kimmer said she ate a ton of veggies..I'm sure she did! Probably lots of yummy taters..

I don't remember reading that but I know I've missed posts. I keep getting lost when I leave and come back and very rarely find where I left off at because it brings me to the last post I made and that's usually pages ahead of where I was reading. sigh.

My 84 year old mother gets charlie horses in bed and the doc prescribed a Quinine RX. She said it works great! I've also heard that putting a certain brand of bar soap under your sheet down around your legs work. I know it sounds strange but I've read testimonials and apparently it works for many people.

I think your "base camp" sounds like a great idea. It doesn't mean that the fascination thread won't be updated but only after the info has been put under a magnifying glass. That way if we have ideas on how to proceed on certain topics, we can discuss them and even post what we've found out before broadcasting it to Heidi/TT, etc.

The hard part is how do we figure out who is legit and who isn't when they register to have access to the site?

IMHO this idea is definitely food for thought!

Tart cherries are very good for you. Great antioxidant, anti-carcinogenic, good for the heart, arthritis, helps ward off diabetes, etc. They probably would be good for your skin. lol

If Hidey believes what she typed in this newletter, she is admitting shes a mess. Incredible isnt it....

KimKims newsletter #5: Sometimes, though we hate our fat, we use it as a shield around us. We use food to stuff everything that is wrong in life, so that we can tell ourselves that everything is all right except for the fat. We deny and hide anger, fear, disappointment, and all the other negatives by comforting ourselves with food. It is part of that all-or-nothing thinking. Truth is frightening - and liberating.

When we lose the food as friend and comforter and salver of hurt feelings, when we lose the ritual of eating to fill our time and create our excuses, we confront ourselves — and we find ourselves, as we are meant to be, with courage and truth and acceptance and freedom and joy.

I hope you find the strength somehow to make it past these first few days! It IS hard, and I wish it were easier, but you will not be sorry once you succeed!! You really CAN do this!!

What about a place like myspace where as long as your invited you can see it? You could post The important things there where only invites could see. Invite everyone from here with a link to the site. If they want to be invited they could email. They could then be checked to make sure they are not fans of KK and go from there. If they have been recently banned you could verify and invite them in.

I find it so hard to accept that there are people like Heidi, Jeannie, Mark (dorkusmalorkus, lol) et al, that will put people in harm's way just for a few quick (and dirty) dollars. Shame on them. I'm thoroughly disgusted (as if I wasn't before!).
And the people who follow their advice will be called stupid by other members over there when they follow the advice and get sick.

Maybe there are a few "over there" who are waking up from the koolaid hangover.....

xxxx, thanks so much for your post to me in the cafe. I appreciate it. I just started posting a bit, but it seems like everything I post, I later "think better of it" and go back and erase it! I worry that I'm saying the wrong thing or that someone will take it wrong or that I'll be banned or.... or.... or.... So if you check my profile, you'll see I have a bunch of blank white posts! But I won't erase this one, promise! LOL

Anyway, I meant what I said. I admire you for what you've done. I did lose 20-25 lbs last spring but I started to have some "health issues"... some thyroid issues I'm still dealing with... terrible dizziness.... low blood pressure (76/40), especially in the morning... I decided to back off on the diet for a while. I felt better but over the summer I re-gained about 8 of those pounds back.

So just recently I decided I wanted to try to find a healthy way to incorporate some KK stuff into a healthier diet and avoid the problems I was dealing with in the spring. Can that be done? I'm optimistic, I'm sure it can! I just have to figure out how! So I've been looking at some other options "out there" that incorporate some of the KK principles with healthier approaches. I'm thinking I might concentrate on just "eating low".

leave the topic as it is cause it is getting the message out and that is more important. Look at how many former kimkinete have been here cause they wanted to see from what they heard on the kimkins board about LCF,even joined LCF so they could argue with folk but later as they learned more changed their minds and come over to the light side. This topic is the landing site for many falling kimkins folk and the warm welcomes they are getting are helping to show LCF isn't a board full of haters.
Fixing up his current website will not undo any laws and regulations Dr Mark broke before cause his IP can produce copies as can many folk here of the original website pages.
Let the world and kimmer et al see what is going on. The more moves they make the more the cover up grows and the more light the believers are seeing.
