I saw the stuff about cherries and gout this morning in Dr Gott's column in the newspaper. Although, he suggested a handful a couple times a day, not 2 cherries a day.

Well maybe dr mark is not any better a reader than he is a speller and he read that to say "a couple a day" and totally missed that it said a handful a couple times a day

well, maybe the idea of moving this thread to the playground is not such a bad idea after all. WAIt, hear me out!! If they are coming here to see what mistakes we are catching that could get them in trouble, they go and fix them right?? Like Dr Quack's site changed his credentials.. if the thread is in the playground, Tippy and hidey can no longer read what we are catching...true or false??

as for the new people not being able to access the playground yet....maybe exceptions can be made?? just an innocent question! i am not sure how things work to access the playground.. just saying!

Great link! I loved this statement: "Conclusion

"We at LoveToKnow Diet urge you not to try this diet. It is unsafe, and the founder's business practices are unsavory, immoral, and illegal. Everyone wants quick weight loss, but this is not the way to get it..

Just got caught up. I'm happy to say I got a lot of chores done this morning - 3.5 hours pressure washing the lanai deck, sliding glass doors, walls and pool screen, trimmed the palm tree, cleaned out the bird bath, added pool chemicals and made dinner. Whew .... now I can spend the rest of the evening reading and watching Survivor....

I don't know if that is necessarily going to work though cause who's to say who gets to be the exception and couldn't someone they know sign up, and wait out the waiting period to get into the playground? Many things that have happened surrounding this whole mess looks like that it has been in the work for a while and has been quite calculating - what's waiting a given time period to be able to access the playground.

All the information is still there somewhere (Wayback machine?) Screenshots, etc...

I don't quite know how the playground works either .... but it sounds like an excellent idea. We are tipping all these people off and we know they are reading these posts because they are running back and changing their websites, bios, etc. I sure hope someone took a screen shot of Mark's website before he made changes.

One more thing - if all the information was accurate - there was no need to run and change their sites. Pretty convincing to me!

I understand your point, and it's a good point, however, I don't think it would be fair to people who have been following this thread and then, not being able to continue. I don't know how the playground works either. Do we need a certain amount of posts? Or do we have to be a memeber for a certain amount of time? I don't even sign in here most of the time, just click on the link in my favorites and start reading.

I have followed this from the very beginning and have only posted once or twice in here - and that's when I found one of the russion bride pictures. I've done things behind the scenes as requested by posters, to help get the word out that Kimmer is a fraud and her diet is dangerous. I would hate to be left out.

By the way, is anybody still searching for the rest of the pictures?..I am.

by all means NO NO!! I was asking if there was a way to get this into the playground, but only REGISTERED people have access. I am unsure as well what is needed to get into there. Since hidey and tippy have been banned, they have no access, as for the rest of the people here, i said I was unsure...but if moving the thread means that some of US HERE cannot get to it, then I agree....bad idea! Or as my kids would say....my bad

I don't think moving the thread would make a difference...I think there are "other" spies here who would have access. I think we need to watch what we say here because we know they are using us to clean up their act. We can use PMs or e-mails to communicate our thoughts, etc. I don't think we have to worry about his first homepage changing as I am sure...it was screen printed. We have some very smart and quick people here and they don't miss much!

It absolutely would not work. There are people on this board who have access to the playground and are still very much kiminastas. They would simply cut and paste.

Hi Kimmer,
"My" Dutch people are asking why you advise so little extra as far as vitamins go. They worry about not getting enough vit C etc., especially when you continue the Kimkins Experiment (as I'm doing).
What do I tell them?
Personally I add extra vit C and also some supplements for my blood pressure etc.

Thanks again for your work and the wonderful fact that I can just come and ask questions!

In a nutshell? Because I'm not an expert. I have basic knowledge of vitamins, minerals, fat/water soluable-ness, toxicity and interactions, but not enough to say "Hey, listen to me."

I'm also very aware of "telephone" where I might say A,B,C but is repeated in another post or site as X,Y,Z. With vitamins & supplements that can be dangerous, even deadly. One of my reasons for starting this site was the bad Kimkins info on other sites. People would email me posts of "Kimmer recommends blah, blah, blah ..." Huh? Never said any such thing.

There's also an argument for results of long term water fasting. You would think someone overweight existing on only water for 10, 30, 40 days would develop vitamin, mineral, protein deficiencies, right? But they don't. It is almost as though the body develops redundant systems. Even protein requirements come to a sudden, very steep decline within about 7-10 days.

But I digress.

I fully believe everyone should do their research and feel good about what they're choosing to put in their bodies. This includes vitamins, minerals and supplements. As sure as I'm writing this I know that if I were to expand recommendations to include A,B,C, this will be contorted to "Well, Kimmer says takes A,B,C and M,N,O is similar so I'm sure it's OK." Not necessarily.

But lastly is my belief that if someone follows Kimkins strictly, without cheats or interpretations, they will reach goal very quickly. Even a basic broad spectrum vitamin like Centrum is enough to sustain during that time.

Whew. OK, that's it.
Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable

Here's another:
Re:Ask Kimmer 11 Months, 1 Week ago
Hi Kimmer,

What if someone is not eating vegetables, but otherwise complies with all the other terms of Kimkins. In other words, they are weighing and measuring their portions, eating only the cuts of meat specified on the food list, using only tiny amounts of added fat (for example, a teaspoon of light mayo mashed in with an egg yolk so the hard-boiled egg can be deviled), and maybe one piece of reduced-fat string cheese. What do you consider that? Modified Kimkins? Modified K/E? Just plain naughty?

Re:Ask Kimmer 11 Months, 1 Week ago
If it's just 1 tbsp of light mayo, then you're in K/E territory. Let's not ever utter the words "modified"! Modified never means less than the original plan, it's always a tweak of "more".

modified = sucky weight loss

I was wondering if she is receiving "rent assist" for the apartment she is living in. If she been on the dole in the past (government assistance) she's not paying full rent now. Plus if you are receiving rent assist the agencies have to approve a place prior to you moving. This really pisses me off - us taxpayers are paying Heidi's living expenses and probably medical
