I like this one too...according to her ticker she has lost 12.6 lbs...how is that 15?
Hey Dr. Mark, I had to have my gall bladder removed back in June. I gained 15 lbs after surgery very quickly and have thankfully lost that since staring this WOE. I was curious, are there any specific foods or nutritional supplements that could be added to my diet to aid in the functions my gall bladder never was doing? The surgeon described it to me as an organ that aids in digestion. that I can still digest food without it, its just a much slower process (ie. people gain weight fast without one). Now supposedly the darn thing NEVER worked as my results from the functionality test were a 0%, which I have been misdiagnosed for other issues in the past, which where actually the gall bladder acting up. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

She is on to her next scam, and it won't be anything to do with diet. I wish I could agree ! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re:Kimkins BootCamp? 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Boot Camp wasn't that fancy. It's the Bare Bones menu with measured protein plus 30 minutes of some activity. She actually did extra activity on the weekends since she and her husband own a cabin in the hills. Bare Bones Diet B - Eggs 2-3, .5 cup cooked veggies or 2 oz ham/protein L - Protein (4 oz), 2 cups mixed greens, Wishbone Spritzer dressing D - Protein (4-6 oz), 2 cups mixed greens, Wishbone Spritzer Only dedicated people can stick with this. 2 cups of salad is 1 large handful. It's not exciting but calories are extremely low (500'ish). Vanessa had a long journey. She wasn't interested in incorporating her favorite foods into her menus and slowing weight loss down. It was similar to how I felt: If I can't eat Entemann's, then what's the point? Let's just get this done! Re:Kimkins BootCamp? 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago Thanks, Kimmer. I was wondering about the Bootcamp myself. BTW--I love all of the new success stories. Everyone looks amazing. Re:Kimkins BootCamp? 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago Wynn wrote: I was wondering Kimmer, which do you prefer for weight loss? The K/E method of losing? Or the addition of veggies? I've tried it both ways but I find it a little more satisfying to stay on K/E. I can eat about the same amount of calories for either method, but I find I tend to eat a little more than I think I do when I've got salad added in there! Lot of times those veggies sound sooooo good, can't stop at the alloted portion! Well, the good news is that nobody ever got fat eating veggies ... it's the butter, salad dressing & cheese sauces that do us in! Honestly, this is what I feel about FAST weight loss. Fastest is K/E but only if people are open to the idea of eating less when they aren't hungry. Some people really can't do this (survival instinct) so they're doing K/E but their calories remain too high for FAST weight loss. In that case ... Kimkins, but limit protein to 4 oz portions (or 2 eggs) and enjoy a larger quantity of VERY LOW calorie veggies. There's nothing to be harmed by having 2 handfuls of lettuce instead of 1 -- providing a person is using low cal shaker type dressing and not 300 calories of Hidden Valley Ranch (oops, that would be me!) I think psychologically more people feel "healthier" on a Kimkins type plan. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, memory lane...... I didn't see her bash or repremand Vanessa for going so low on the cals. |

So I take it nothing has happened to her as of yet? That would really suck if all this went nowhere. I really thought her site would be down by now. I guess it will only take Chris Hansen knocking on her down for it to be done with

I never knew that. My sister was going to give us hers and after trying at the gym I'm turning her down on her offer. I agree. I don't think she's out of the picture at all. |

Benefit of the Doubt bank shows-Zero balance
There have been posts as to why Dr. Mark should be given more time or given the same leeway as a member just finding out about the kimkins scandal or even refrain from reacting to his behavior just yet. That it is too soon and that maybe the benefit of the doubt should come into play. I can respect their opinion on this issue but in case no one noticed...
I of course disagree and feel that making observations, actions that are legal, and discussing his situation is valid at this point. Although, I do agree that Dr. Mark like anyone should be given the benefit of the doubt but not excuses for his behavior and to me he used all my "benefit of the doubt"basically within his first 24 hours on the scene.-He comes into a business as a new staff member and we are supposed to believe he did it without knowing the history of that fraudulent business or the diet promoted by the scam, because he just didn't research the company? Ok, for me he lost about 25% of his benefit of the doubt right there, because that is just plain dumb and if he doesn't put more thought in his career choices than that, then I seriously doubt he puts much thought into his advice either. If he did research the issue, by letting someone else do it, while he claims to be a research expert then dumb squared. -He is given all the information, regardless of the source, there is no denying the facts for what they are and that is Kimkins was based on a fraud. Should we believe that he just needed time to review the information? Well, sorry Dr. Marky Mark but you used up that portion of my benefit of the doubt already when you didn't research the business before becoming a staff member. I mean come on how many chances should he get to do what he should have done in the first place? One could also read in Tippy’s statement yesterday that he was aware of what he was getting into- “I am sure you have all seen it happening to me. Dr. Mark was kind enough to put his info out there anyways.” Hmmmm…so on his first day he put his information out there “anyways”. Does that mean regardless of the risks he would be taking because of the history of the company and the so called haters? SO did he know or didn’t he? Well, don’t read anything much into it because we know he knows now and he should have called in sick yesterday or had an emergency with some fake foster kids if he needed time to get his ducks in a row. I am just pointing out the inconsistencies, because either way he lost another 25% of my benefit of the doubt. -He gives advice to the members at Kimkins without considering the diet they are following is low carb, because he himself stated he felt the diet was low carb, high protein. So his advice should at least incorporate that aspect since this is a dieting forum at KIMKINS?!?!? Should we believe he is just a good guy, in the wrong place, there to help? Well, surprise it doesn't read like that to me. It reads like he is there to make a quick buck like those who came before him. He loses another 25% of my benefit of the doubt. -He then continues to give out advice that could actually be doing harm by not telling the member to go to their physician to get an exam or even the ER, because their symptoms are concerning. No, he tells them to drink Gatorade. Yes, that’s right Gatorade, now of all the things to recommend that is shocking. He decides to give bad health advice and bad low carb diet advice as well. Are we to believe that EVEN without him being aware of the diet or let's say he "forgot" he was giving advice on a diet board, ok fine, but does that mean he forgot his healthcare education too? He loses another 25% of my benefit of the doubt and as you can deduce that would mean none is left but I haven't even gotten to the one thing that is troubling me the most. -From the moment he came onto the board to me it was apparent that he was attempting to appear to be something he was not and I thought why would you do that? He presents himself as Dr. Mark and does not clarify what his credentials are until directly asked and then still he is very ambiguous with the information. We can't give him the excuse of how he didn't want the haters or anti-kimkins people contacting him, because- remember he supposedly didn't know anything about that yet, so that excuse can't be used here without totally proving that he knew what he was getting into. Then the information that is given about his credentials doesn’t compute or may actually not be true. I am composing a list of what seem like issues to me and will post them later to discuss, because for me there is no more benefit of the doubt left to give. ![]()
