Yep, and she is forgetting that Kimmer told people there was no need to eat at all. That's why the body fat was there.

Now, about the new owners, Dr. Mark and our Fitness Guru... The new owners have not come forward to announce who they are as of yet. I can only guess that the reason may be because they do not want their reputations and personal lives ripped apart by the pitbulls. They have said business will operate as normal. We all know that when you put your name out there as a representitive of this site this is what happens. I am sure you have all seen it happening to me. Dr. Mark was kind enough to put his info out there anyways. He has recieved many emails from the hate club and worse they are actually targeting his place of work because their scare tactics did not work and he is still here. I only hope Dr. Mark sees thru these tactics for what they really are. As far as Fitness Guru, I have personally asked him NOT to put his info out there for the same reasons though he is very willing. I can assure you his credentuals are valid as a certified personal triainer. When the haters want to ruin your entire reputation, bother you at your job and do worse remaining private becomes very important. I am sure you can all understand this.]

I like the recumbent bike and the treadmill, too. Neither of them bother my knees. I can also bike for miles and miles without any knee pain. I cannot do the step. I tried The Firm this spring and totaled my one knee. Took most of the spring/summer to feel better. I couldn't get on my knees to weed my gardens. That may sound like a nice break for some but gardening is my sanity saver. I love it.

Bradenton is south of Zepherhills, on the other side of Tampa Bay from where Largo is.

Hmmm.... I'll be in Largo in a little over a week, think I could probably take a road trip through Bradenton. Haven't been there for years anyway

ETA: Ooops, someone beat me to it... maybe we should organize a bus tour of the Tampa Bay area for all the duckys

The gym I go to has two completely different types of elliptical machines.

The one has a more horizontal elliptial rotation - not much height to it at all, just a low, smooth oval rotation back and forth, with very little lifting of the feet/knees. You can actually just shift your weight onto the foot that's currently highest, and the other one will "ride" the movement upwards. (If I'm making any sense with my description here

) This machine also has ski-type handles that move back and forth with the foot movement.

The other type of machine has the elliptical "oval" at nearly a 45 degree angle, so that you have to actively lift your foot and leg, and push down on the pedal to get it to move. That one is definitely hard on the knees and ankles. I didn't stay on it long enough to find out if it was hard on the hips too! That one has a bar to place your hands on, but not the ski type handles.

Both types have controls to adjust the amount of resistance - if the low horizontal type of rotation bothers your joints, perhaps the resistance was set too high.

I'm sure there's plenty of other elliptical type machines available, just wanted to let you know there's at least two completely different types that will definitely affect your joints differently.

It's great to make a buck -- dh could perform chiropractic modalities on the sly and pull in more money, but he has ethics (and would have his real licenses pulled faster than I could sneeze). Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for reporting him. I would have loved to, but as a chiropractor, the board does not give nearly as much onus to a complaint (as it looks like sour grapes) - this guy is just as dangerous as kimmer, he needs to be stopped.

Just to say..I hope that my previous posts regarding laying off of his personal life were not interpreted to mean that his professional conduct, ethics, and practices could not be challenged. I agree that if he is practising chiropractic, or any other form of medicine, and does not have the appropriate training and credentials, this is dangerous. An investigation by appropriate authorities is in order.

Ok, i just got word from a friend of a friend, through their second cousin first removed's neighbors uncles boyfriend.....

the banners currently provided to the affiliates still promote kimmers pic with the russian bride.

Hmmm, would anyone be silly enough to use these?

Now there is an option that if you can't afford to buy kimkins just yet then you should become an affiliate first and save up with you comissions to get a "free membership"

So some poor lady is going to use that kimmer banner and have no idea what they've gotten themselves into.

Oh, and I'd like to thank LCF for their gentle warnings when I've been a naughty girl. I don't want to get anyone in trouble for anything.
