A fresh apple on empty stomach
Walnuts or almonds

Dr. Mark"
I saw that, and the fact that he spelled strict and strictly as "strick" and "strickly" in another response. Uh...yeah...well...

Sing to the tune of "The Beverly Hillbillies" theme song:

Lem’me tell a story ‘bout a girl named Kim,

A chubby web-a-holic who was fakin’ being thin.

Then one day she was thinkin’ thoughts so bright,

And she started up a sham money-maker weight-loss site!

Cash, that is… send it in… PayPal…

Well, the first thing you know, ol’ Kim’s a millionaire,

Sittin’ at the window though she hasn’t got a hair,

Eatin’ sugar cookies while you starve yourself away,

Bannin’ and a-cussin’ those who dare to ever stray.

Evidence trail, that is... Private I's and photographs...

nuts are generally binding - NOT good if you already have constipation problems!

it is just so infuriating and frustrating to have someone calling "himself" an expert yet dolling out advice that is blatently WRONG!

Fiendish overlords (hideous, monstrous beasts with deceptively charming names . . . like “Tippy Toes” and “Singing Lass”) roamed the streets, eager to pounce on unsuspecting travelers and delete them with a single blow. I huddled in the darkness of my cave, shivering and alone. And then I heard it . . . one solitary voice calling out for truth, for justice, for answers. From my dark cave I saw her . . . a solitary figure, struggling against the raging storm. I ventured out ~ slowly, slowly. As I drew closer to her, I recognized her . . it was Wyatt’s Momma. Just then, the storm’s fury engulfed us. I reached out my hand, trying to grab onto her, but were were both tossed and battered by the destructive forces around us. And then I saw it out of the corner of my eye . . a looming, hulking, shadowy figure. Before I could raise my arm in protest ~ *poof* ~ Wyatt’s Momma was gone.

Battered, bruised, shivering and weak from malnutrition . . . I see him in the distance . . . a healer, a helper, a medicine man. I stumble, I crawl, I finally reach him and tug at the bottom of his surgical scrubs.

Reaching down in compassion ~ he hands me . . . Gatorade.

Great detective work. Now try to find another word and see if you get the same results..... this sure is interesting. Maybe Mark quit and TT is too embarrassed to post that he has quit. If I'm wrong do you think he will request to meet Heidi in person to go over plans for their new and improved website?

Someone's questioning the docs answer
"Re: Dr. Mark ~~ I'm COLD! 0 Minutes ago
Have any of you checked with your doctor? I ask this, because my mom had this symptom - being cold all the time - and the problem was her thyroid. You really shouldn't mess around with this. I'm surprise Dr. Mark didn't mention this."

As I mentioned, your goal should be for at least one bowel movement a day.

Let us try to get away from using commercial laxatives if at all possible though.

It is not that they don't work it is what they can contribute to longterm. Those that stimulate bowel movement by increasing intestinal contraction tend to give you a lazy bowel. This lazy intestine does not like to contract on its own after a while.
Those that make the stool more liquid prevent the absorbtion of those vital minerals and electrolytes I have been talking about. Not that good either.

Either can be a every once in a long while tool but only that, something to get the pipes back on track.

You have all posted with some natural alternatives, I will try to give you a few more.

Teas
- "smooth move" available in most grocery stores works great if taken at night (love that name)
- "California diet tea or slim mate tea" - Any asian grocery has this tea in green boxes...Don't go for the extra strength!
-2 yeaspoons honey with warm water on empty stomach

Food
Wheat germ - goes great on yogurt or cottage cheese
Dates or plums (just a few)
Salads and other roughage of course
A fresh apple on empty stomach
Walnuts or almonds

I hope this helps...I am going to write an artical and put it up top for all.

Dr. Mark"[/b]
There ya go - not Kimmer. BTW, how many carbs in a yeaspoon of honey?
