The Atkins Diet is posted in detail FREE on their site, and they have a [FREE] discussion forum as well. With Kimmer gone, what exactly is being offered for $60? Even the diet has disappeared -- or morphed into the StillKimAtkins diet. And remember -- if you're tweaking it, it's not KimKins. Besides, how can anyone follow a diet that keeps changing and has NO MAINTENANCE PLAN!! ![]() |

I only know of Kimkins what I have read from the site itself, as of four days ago. It seems as though it is a carb restrictive plan that is meant to be temporary and allows for unlimited protein....therefore not restricting calories. Seems like a decent plan to me, especially for the morbidly obese. People 50 lbs or more overweight are in a serious, life threatening condition that should be treated with urgency.
#1. Four days and hes an expert? People better start questioning everything about him including his eye color after the Before/After photo fiasco. How can he represent something he's only known 4 days? For crap sake he went to college for everything else. #2. Ment to be temporary? Heidi said herself that we could stay on the diet for as long as it took to loose the weight and that many people will use this plan for a lifetime to keep their weight in check. She said (I slap myself everytime I think of her "advice") that she would never be able to eat many carbs if she was to maintain her weight loss. I bet she was eating Krispy Kreme when she typed that too.

I think they started thinking ahead the very minute they booked the WW article. The diet posted in WW as well as on the revamped site was NOTHING like the original diet presented here on LCF when Heidi was here and on the first version of Kimkins.com Heidi knew there was no way that her plan, as originally put forth here and on the first version of the site, would have flown in the media. So she started then and there cleaning the diet up to make it more presentable to the media and the public. I'm pretty sure all along her plan was to ride the gravy train for as long as she could, have people in place to take the fall for her and then take off with the money she scammed people out of.

Now a question for all of you old timers who were here when Kimkin was around, was she really helpful or just completely full of herself?
I read the old posts and was amazed to see that she started her own Ask Kimkin (something like that)......get overyourself! So was she helpful or just a nut? |

Jen.Just wanted to ask if you're finding your way around this site alright. I know yesterday you asked about Atkins 72. Here is a link to the Atkins 72 pages: http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/atkins-72/ Also, the Main Lobby has a lot of people asking and talking about low carb in general. http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/main-lowcarb-lobby/ |

I think so. I *think* when someone accesses their login and puts the ID and password in (even if they get no further) it shows as an 'activity' on the account.
