Sincerely, congratulations on your weight loss TT that was quite an accomplishment. Now may I suggest you get some counselling.
Oh, that wasn't her start weight! By the time this was taken, she was about 15 pounds away from what she called her "first goal". She was sure that she looked hot and came back from the pig roast bragging about how she looked so much better than most of the other people there. It was sickening!

So that would include WLS, any type of diet pill, any crash diet, liposuction, multiple surgeries, any type of herb or concoction, any fad diet and Kimkins!

This would explain why some have been vociferous about defending the kk diet, but why are the others against it?
Whatever It Takes is a challenge group that's been together for a long time. The name of their challenge means they will support each other with whatever it takes. It's not a reference to weight loss by any means necessary.

*huff* *puff* catching up...whew!

Reading through the posts tonight I got a good feeling. I just wanted to say thanks!

Among all the witty remarks, challenges, etc. I see here, there exists a great group of people who are NOT motivated by a hatred of Heidi, but by their humanity in not wanting to see people devote themselves to a misguided way of trying to lose weight.

We understand each other's struggle because it is our own. The admins here btw are awesome! I'm still a newbie, but I've seen countless thoughtful and helpful comments by Dottie and Cheri (who is cute as a button, btw!) How anyone in their right mind could be mean to you is beyond me. Oh, wait, TT isn't in her right mind, now is she??

I share the feelings of disappointment and embarrassment with those who joined KK's and thought everything was great there. But, in retrospect, I never had any real contact with Kimmer, it was the people there like Christin and Amy (Curlygirl) and Becky (Littlebit) who helped me and gave me advice. Is it any wonder, then, that I was happy at first and felt like I belonged to something good?

A big part of who I am personally is dedicated to helping others. I am but a small part of that here, but I'm damn proud of it! If there is anything I can do to keep someone else from trying KK's - a very dangerous diet - then I am happy to play whatever part I can in that effort.

Like many of you, I believe with all my heart that Kimmer is purposely trying to hurt people. I think she gets off on it. But, she cannot succeed. I have NO DOUBT that we will end her little party and help educate a lot of people in the process.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for fighting the good fight. And, thank you helping me see the light. I lurked here for so long before joining in. But, I had to join in because you guys are the best!

Happy Monday everyone. (well, except you-know-who!)

Hey, you found RED SHIRT MARISOL! I notice she's 143 pounds. If she were to lose 51, like Kimmer wrote, she'd be so underweight at 5'5" that she'd be hospitalized with an IV. hahahahahahhaha

Good work. And good work to the "groom finder squad".

golite, please allow me to try and clear up the meaning of B A N T A. We are a support group that will support any HEALTHY way of losing weight. It was meant that it doesnt have to be Atkins or Low carb, just what ever works for each individual. WE DONT support Kimkins by any means. It is unsafe! I hope that helps some.
