I would think whomever technically owned the site at the time of fraud would be liable. (AGAIN, not a lawyer here). The question is who actually owns the site, esp if Heidi is still getting disability pay.

Say I was your friend, and you wanted to open a corporation, but you wanted to hide ownership from your lyin cheatin spouse (ermh, this IS hypothetical, I'm sure your DH is a saint), you might come up to me and say, "Hey, I'll give you 20% of the profit for doing nothing but being the figurehead on my company. The other 80% can be put in this bank account in the Caymans to this name right here. (Putting name on slip of paper and handing me the account number.) As long as the corporation or business pays its taxes and I get paid, there really isn't a lot that will come to the attention of the IRS ( I know that there are specific reporting rules depending on what type of business you are, but I don't know what the requirements are so I might be oversimplifying it and not being a criminal mastermind I'm sure there are other steps needing to be taken to wash the money).

Here is the sticky wicket though...all of a sudden my corporation sold something that created a lawsuit, and the company is being sued. You're not even an employee...I own the company...guess who the courts are going after? There I am holding the bag.

Eventually I might be able to convince someone at my expense to track the money and it ends up going to you, but possibly not. Dummy corporations are set up all the time with a fall person already at the helm.

This is why I keep wondering, and would need a lawyers confirmation, who actually would end up being liable if she had it all set up in her son's name.

Well, now that I'm banned, I requested a refund twice through the tech support link and both were closed with no response, so I hit the BBB and Attorney general.

You're thinking about it all wrong. You're assuming people are suing kimkins, they're not. The suit is against Heidi and all of her known aliases and "partners". It doesn't matter if someone else currently owns the company, the suit is against the person[s] who were involved in creating the fraud.

Any investigations by legal entities will also go after the same.

You are angry that this side of the fight is all ganging up on Kimmer, that's kind of a duh. There are sites that are impartial, however this isn't it. This is the site that wants the truth, and posts the truth, and sometimes the truth just hurts doesn't it.

Awesome post Missi! I feel the same exact way. I couldn't live with myself if I just quietly walked away and didn't try, in some small way, to see that justice is done. I was the kind of kid that always ended up getting my eye blackened for running in on a school yard fight, trying to save the little guy for the bully. Kimmer is the bully here and I'm going to try and "save" as many people as I can.

This exact thought has haunted me even when I was in KK and didnt know of this fraud. There are several gals who suddenly quit posting. That's why I'm hoping this story hits the big time like Dateline or something so if, God forbid, this has happened to anyone people might be able to put the puzzle pieces together. I just pray this hasn't been the case for anyone.

I posted that and wonder if there was something beyond my limited tech knowledge that might be done about it.

Also, someone please "save" it because of the claims that she makes. I wish that I had saved some of my PM's and posts with her before I was banned. I guess better late than never, but before she covers too much "evidence", I just thought it would be something good to save.

She was in the ICU for several weeks, and ended up having to have a TEMPORARY COLOSTOMY. She had never known she even had diverticulosis (the pouching of the large intestine without infection) before it developed into diverticulitis (infection of the pouches). She almost didn't make it. She finally did recover and a year and a half later had the colostomy reversed. She was lucky this didn't kill her.
