They didnt delete this one yet. KK members are seeing that the reason the PMs are being read is to root out dissenters....not to prevent "hacking".

TippyToes....I don't understand...please explain....

How does an Admin reading private mail between paid Kimkins members prevent hackers from hacking into the site? I don't see how that works. If I send a private mail to another member, and an Admin screens it, how does that stop a hacker from hacking into the site? And if I send private or personal information in a private mail and it is then posted elsewhere by whomever I sent my message to, how can an Admin screening my private mail stop the receiver from doing that? Am I making sense? John is a computer security expert with the Dept of Defense, and he said it doesn't make any sense to him either. He said screening private mail between members might stop the flow of information within the site.... but it wouldn't stop the flow of information out of the site if the site was truly hacked by someone who knew what they were doing.

Which Admin will be screening the mail? Is he/she a computer security expert in real life?

I'm not admin but unless they block IP addresses, it's very easy to just create a new ID with a different email addy.

And then again, blocking an IP address doesn't guarantee anything either. It only blocks THAT particular computer.

How does this sound? I will spend a minimum of 20 hours per week on the site. Likely more... I will scroll around and see who's doing well and help those struggling. I will especially spend quality time with newbies. I realize that success stories are what makes Kimkins what it is and I intend to see MANY!
In time, as the negitive publicity Catherine has caused fades, and as more and more start losing well and get a handle on Kimkins, perhaps we can find new moderators. Meanwhile I will surely do my best to cover.
You may send me anywhere you like for travel as long as my DH can go. We have very flexible schedules. He is a little worried about the haters targeting me and says he will be my body guard, lol. It's up to you, but I would like to perhaps go on the scheduled cruise if you can't make it for starters. I could make a big deal with meet and greets and perhaps we can play games for tee shirts or whatever. I think attneding gatherings and meeting people face to face is a good start.
I am also thinking of ways to drum up more biz for the site. I am thinking of a scheduled PUBLIC chat, open to anyone and advertised widely that I would monitor and answer questions to anyone wanting to learn more about Kimkins. I would also be able to "dismiss" any naysayerspromptly without causing a disterbance. They would just disapear... Poof, lol! I say this because I was in your chat one day before all the stuff began and there were so many happy people chatting about how thrilled they were losing weight on Kimkins. I think it would be great to have them there if we did schedule a public time for chat ever so often. I think it will get a lot of new members.
I think local news coverage of success stories are important as are magazine coverages. I'll need to know more about contacting them, such as how Women's World came into the picture. I am thinking a fair salary would be $250 per week plus $5.00 commission for each new membership once I start. The salary isn't much and I am sure I'll work more hours than 20 but I feel I can make it up on comm. I'll work hard for you but I think you know that already.

Probably trying to avoid MAIL FRAUD charges which many scammers unknowingly get caught on when they use the US mail to perpetuate their scams. Mail Fraud is often the easiest charge to make out & bring to bear when it comes to scams. Kind of funny, as it's WAY TOO LATE to avoid that now!

I'm sure they'd like to know that their system is being utilized by someone collecting the money under fraudulent terms. All you'd have to do is send them the links to the KTLA stories.

KayKay I am with you, I thought Tippy was smarter than this too. It is sad to see how low she has gone. I'm sure she would like to go on the cruise. Oh, but wait, isn't she the one who said it is "impossible" to lose weight on a cruise? Tippy if you are really on a lifestyle change and not a diet, you would not gain on a cruise. They have every choice of food there is for any lifestyle/diet, not to mention exercise equipment, oh I forgot you don't exercise my bad. I have been on a two week cruise and came home one pound lighter. So there Tippy proved you wrong. You keep digging in deeper, when will you ever learn.

I was reading a post a few minutes ago "I want a Refund" and went to look at user profile, came back and it was gone. I have been amazed today how quickly I am watching post appear and disappear. Almost seems silly that so much effort is going into it. I am sure this one will disappear also.
