Ok guys, just a hunch, either the mods have run away like their hair is on fire, or the site will be going down for "maintenance" soon. They aren't even trying to poof the posts anymore.

Its 2:37 am and I'm getting up at 5:30. I'm headed off to bed (and taking my underwear with me, no frozen panties for me)

I can't tell exactly what happened, but after some of the editing that was done on the Wikipedia page (after 4PM today), the Kimkins Controversy article was deleted. I am going thru the Wikipedia challenge procedures to get it back out there. Again! I just did this yesterday and I thought we were in the clear.

FWIW, from what I can tell, the removal has nothing to do with any complaints about the page - I'm pretty sure it's internal Wikipedia sysops/admins getting picky over the formatting, things I mentioned before that I had been unaware of, such as links having to be at the end of the article and not in the article body. They had also challenged the sources, saying we needed more credible authority. I thought that KTLA (A LA TImes affiliate, thanks whoever figured that out) and About.com (a NY Times affiliate) should have done the trick.

ANYWAY doggone it, I'll pursue the challenge procedure and let you know what happens.

OK it's 2am and I have to be up at 6, and go sit at my vendor stand near the football stadium for 12 hours tomorrow - gonna be a long day! ROLL TIDE :-)
