Ok, a blog for the pics is OK, the rest should stay here as we are use to looking through one thread each day. We do need a list of what sites and pages everyone is at so we don't duplicate. With that...I'm going to bed, long day tomorrow. Good Luck, all.

Im a bit of a Blog Numptie, and don't really read them - so I have a question. Would we have to keep looking at a blog as well as the thread?
Or, could we have a Sticky at the top of the Kimmer Threads where the Discovered Facts were kept and Updated. Ie. A Post for Photos, A post for the Bullet Point version of the story, and one for links - which could be edited by one of the Duck Army? |

Have you ladies seen this yet???
Re:Back On Track 2 Hours, 45 Minutes ago I am new, 2 days, and just read some of the blogs. I support this diet, it is common sense really. My question is, why havent you come forward to put all of these rumors in the grave. I mean I would be up there saying, "this is me and see I am 118 lbs, so who should I sue first" I would think that would be typical human nature for anyone with such huge success in weight loss and it would help all of us who are members and have others bullying us about, "told ya so" crap. And who is the "new owners" of kimkins? Thanks for listening and I am eager to see your response. Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable #395196 nefertari (User) Newbie Posts: 14 Re:Back On Track 2 Hours, 1 Minute ago She likes her privacy Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable #395204 melyndab (User) Newbie Posts: 6 Re:Back On Track 1 Hour, 51 Minutes ago privacy...okay, dont get me wrong I came here b/c I know the plan works and I like the support you get here but in all fairness to each groups opinions (both sides have valid points) if she likes privacy so much, then why become the focus of a national diet campaign? Its like Somersize when we all found out Suzane Somers had liposuction, but it came out, it was discussed and it is no longer an issue. But Kimmer wont even come forward to show that she supports us and the program and that confuses me. Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable |

Ixtapacheryl Didn't you send ol' Heidikins a cease and desist? Your story and photos are on the newsletter #5 archive. FYI!
Kimkins Story: Cheryl Cheryl weighed 183 pounds and was having knee problems when she found Kimkins. Now she's a size 4 and feeling healthy at 129 pounds! Cheryl, great work! Read what she has to say: At the young age of 23 I lost about 38 pounds - pre-Atkins. I was at an all time high of 160 pounds after giving birth to my daughter in 1967. I received a diet from my local doctor and basically went on a zero carb regimen. The weight fell off in no time and before I knew it I was 122 pounds. At that time he told me to keep my carbs at 20 a day or else I would gain all the weight back. Boy was he right! Fast forward to March 1, 2006 and I found myself weighing 183 pounds. At 5'7.5" tall - I was off the charts. Not only were my knees killing me - but I was showing the early signs of diabetes and had hypoglycemia. I absolutely refused to be put on pills/shots or whatever a doctor wanted me to do. Rather than follow their dietary advice it was just easier to ignore them and my problems. Eventually I realized I had better do something because the extra weight was giving me both health and self-esteem problems Fortunately I found a weight loss website and before I knew it I was reading any and all of Kimmer's and many other helpful posts. Not only were they informative but in addition very willing to help tirelessly. In Kimmer's case, as with other board friends, I was shown wonderful examples of what determination could do for a person. Many of them had done their homework and their advice came through loud and clear. It became time for me to emulate their examples and follow the advice generously given. Well guess what? IT WORKED! I am now a healthier 61 year old gal. I weigh 129 pounds - and wear a size 4. I followed all of her advice and it worked. I could not have done this without her guidance and care. She is one special lady who is at the top of my all time heroes' list. Not only does she talk the talk - but she walks the walk. Thank you Kimmer! Read more Kimkins Stories at Kimkins.com

Please click this link to see how you can buy a gift for yourself or for a loved one and have a portion of your purchase contributed to the fundraiser: Welcome to Jody's Website! __________________________ How fast before these baby's disappear??? huh??!!!!!!!!!! ETA: Major back info, like why it's okay to eat just 500 cals per day and Christin and Deni's pictures and "we love you Kimmer" notes are in the archived newsletters that I believe can be accessed for free. I agree to a blog also. After trolling for Russian brides/dates, I tend to lose focus and started looking for a new hairstyle for myself! It would be great to have a centralized place to go where I can see who has been and not been found and sites with links that have been checked out. And Honey, you need to get some rest - you've done an excellent job at coordinating all this. |

Here's to the crazy ones. (That's you lot!)
Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward. Maybe they have to be crazy. How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art? Or sit in silence and hear a song that's never been written? Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels? (Or turn a Duck into a Statement of Protest)? We make tools for these kinds of people. While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. ![]() ETA : This is From Apple Computers but fits soo well.

MAJOR LCF POSTER!

Ok I had typed up a big post outlining everything and the damn thing deleted when I was doing a larger font. How about -Blog for confirmed pic thus far, list of links for websites to view, and a list with links or pics of the stories in question I would however like to have a recent top 5 pic in a post in the thread with a link to the blog, that I can update and move over if it gets past 5, because that will allow me to participate in the thread when looking for members posts that have found pics. It will also let other posters now the status of things and I think it helps moral to know that things are happening. IMHO I will try to get the blog going with the confirmed list moved there. I will also review the stories left and post on the blog a list there. Can y'all get a list of potential websites together for us to add to the blog. I don't know how far others got in the sites they were reviewing that may have to wait until tomorrow and we can update the blog with that information. DOES THAT WORK?
