DH runs his business and gets a lot of payments from PayPal. He says that he believes that PayPal won't dispute charges past 60 days, but you should have recourse through your credit card company. Of course that's independent of any fraud/class action suit. But he says that the only people who make $$ from class action suits are the lawyers.

Okay- I am trying my hand at looking for our elusive red dress lady.

Should I be concerned that one of the traits in the advanced search is "flexible"?

Most of us wont get our $$ back but PayPal needs to know its handling millions of $$ in funds for a FRAUDULENT company.

Those junior members are better at finding info, posting, etc. because they're intelligent and after the truth...AND, dear Tippy, YOU just are NOT!!!
I confess that I came here as no more than a gawker to see the Kimkins scam I heard was unraveling here. At first I just lurked, but like many others, I got sucked in, and confession #2, I have spent more hours than I dare say scouring mail order bride sites for the red dress. JUST BECAUSE! I've never been on Kimmer, and never signed up on LCF until I decided I wanted to participate in this discussion. I've been lurking for several weeks.

Heidi & Kimmer, I'm sure there are SCORES more like me who remain in lurk mode (come out & say hi to Kimmer, yall!). I encourge other lurkers to poke your heads out and say hello to Kimmer!

I am definitely going to take some time to see what else this site has to offer. I have seen several forums I know I'd enjoy, and based on my positive experience here, I look forward to seeing what else is going on. This is definitely the place for me - since my gastric bypass surgery in 2005, I have been a low-carber, and I will be for life to maintain my weight loss.

Anyway, just wanted to make it real!

Gonna be a busy weekend. I may find a few moments here & there in the wee hours to come back - everybody have a great weekend! And I have to add, ROLL TIDE, ROLL

I don't think it took her years - I think she just went with it. People WANT to believe that someone in Nigeria is gonna' give them millions, people WANT to believe that it's easy to lose 100 pounds.

Looking back on Kimmer's thread when she first posted before/after pictures, you can see the sort of effusive/humble dichotomy that became her trademark. She's like anyone who starts to believe their own press. And someone who's already scamming the government saw an opportunity to get some $$.

The thing is, she's obviously got a level of intelligence that is impressive - enough to create a legitimate business if she used her powers for good rather than evil.

I want someone to check my account. This is really gotten to be too much. I posted earlier that I thought there was something wrong because I could not post on a thread. Then I was told that it got locked and it was a accident. then it happened again. I was then told again it was a accident.
Just now, 2 seconds ago I tried to post on a site that was locked and right then a post from another member popped up.
So either there is a issue with my account or certain people can post on sites and some of us can not.
I have no idea why this would happen. I have been nothing but supportive here and always try to keep the peace. But today I am frustrated I want to post here and be active. But today I just seem to feel like I do not have the same right to post as other members.. I am sure you can understand. I just do not know why I can not post on a thread but two sec later there is a post.
Fawn was posting at the same time I was trying and I could not post. Can you do a check on my account and see if there is some issue. I appreciate your help with this.

Maybe this will help... 6 Minutes ago
I have been in hiding here...but it is time to try and help out..

Things don't feel so good here right now.... and if you need to take a break you can go to eatinglow.com
It is a site started by Amy "Curlygirl"... it is refreshing, and no one will hate you for the plan you choose to be on...
maybe a break from here for a while, will help all calm down... give it a try... eatinglow.com...I think you will like it! ...... .....Osuzana
Hope this doesn't get me banned.. I like to lurk....but some folks need a break from all that has come to pass!!
Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable

fawn responds:

Dear Brenda, thank you sincerely for the "fair enough" comment, for at least you read my post and understand where I am coming from. So thank you sincerely.

I do not honestly know about the allegations that the success stories are taken from several different websites for Russian and Jewish dating sites.

But...............

I will share what I do know ....

Do you by any chance remember the song called: " Everybody Dance Now " ?

You can see the video and hear the song on: ....YouTube - Everybody Dance Now - C & C Music Factory

Everybody Dance Now - by the "C & C Music Factory"

Do you remember the controversy over that song? If not, please allow me to share....

The original singer of that song Miss Martha Wash was heavy set like me and the music industry elected to use someone else to lip sync that same song who was on the thin side.

why?

Because slender, sexy and thinner body types "sells" records... they sell period. we know this already.

Its a great slammin' song with a great voice but the "body" we saw on videos and on television was that of someone else with a slender body.

I share that information as an example to share this:

Most commercials on television and advertisements online and in magazines also know that sexy and thinner body types sells a product. It may not be fair but its reality and some companies even hire people to do commercials and advertisements, etc.

Is it true that some success photos were borrowed from other sites? I dont know but what I do know is that this is a business and people in business do what they have to do to draw people's attention to the product JUST like they do on television and in magazines etc.

Example: Am I going to buy a jogging suit or sneakers from someone jogging that is heavy set like me or would I be MORE inclined to buy something from someone who I "hope" to be or look like one day? which of the two is more inspiring?

I would say the answer would be the latter.

Again I will share this and say... I am my own testimony and success story and I hope you feel the same way about your story.

Again, thank you for responding.

Just a point to add about why to still dispute thru paypal NOW....Correct that paypal has a time limitation on transactions that occured either 45 or 60 days prior, BUT if you file a complaint Paypal can freeze the funds!
File a complaint and dispute now.
This was posted on kimkins exposed-
Only when the account is flagged because of unusual level of dissatisfied customers will the account be frozen.

Heidi will not be able to take the money if the PayPal account is frozen for investigation.

PayPal doesn’t play games.

They shut you down.

They shut off your funds

So you are correct Paypal may not get the money back but they may keep Heidi from taking the money and running with it.
