I have been reading this thread off and on since it started and I could understand at first how this started but sometimes the attacks get so personal and uncalled for and I think that's why so many of the "Kool-Aid" drinkers as you call them are digging their heels in and not listening to you all.

I am a member of KK and have been for a while, I have not posted there for a couple of months but I didn't want to be banned because I had ladies there that I wanted to keep up with as they go on with their challenges...but I know that I would be bothered and angry all day if I did not respond to this remark and I don't want to spend any more energy than I already have. These people are innocent , they are not the person that you are going after.

I just had to speak up because this remark is vicious...This woman does not need me to speak for her and she may have already have been compelled to come in here but I hope not. I hope she hasn't been stressed in her pregnancy by these remarks . Lei Lei is a woman that tried very hard to conceive this baby . She is a caterer and has a supportive Husband and family. This baby was planned for and expected by her and her husband and her son. She had us all anxiously awaiting the good news .She's not just some ignorant person that got knocked up and now doesn't know how to take care of herself. She did lose almost all her weight and was almost at goal before she got pregnant . When she was keeping up with her journal she let us all know right away that she would not be strictly following a low carb plan because she had to look out for her baby. She never "starved herself "as she was preparing to conceive. So she is not "festering resentment for her upcoming baby, she can't wait to expel"

I believe that some parts of her story were changed because she was on the site before the price hike. I don't see myself as a victim but if you will ' the members of the site were scammed. Go after who you want but I think these vicious uncalled for attacks on people you don't know are childish, unfounded, embarassing , tactless and turns some off from the bigger message you're trying to get out. I'm so angry now that I can't even think anymore.

I guess I'll be banned now because I had to say something, that remark was shocking in it's offensiveness.

greetings everyone, my name is fawn and I live in colorado and I would like to share somethings please. Everyone has a right to privacy, including me. If I choose for example, not to reveal my birth name on a website or in person that is MY choice and no one's business unless I choose to devulge that information.... just as everyone has a right to reveal or not reveal their personal information. again this is My views only and I speak for no one else, I am just sharing my views as others have shared theirs. okay lets for a moment put ourselves in someone else's shoes. Just for a moment please. Let's say I fawn had information or created a way of eating that would help other people. A healthier way of eating, concentrating on lower fat intake compared to the excess fat intake that make me or others the way we were before. A healthier way of eating in regard to reducing the amount of carbs we consume. Fresh food consumption as opposed to eating a lot of sugary junk food and the like. we all know or most of us know from our doctors or just from reading books or whatever that carbs is sugar. Many other diet plan even advertise on television commercials how there are good carbs and bad carbs. We also know or should know that if we over consume carbs and do not exercise to burn it off, it turns into fat. We also know or have been told that if we over consume fat, its bad for our health and heart, etc. we know this.. its not rocket science. (no pun intended there, please, I am just sharing and speaking openly here.) so let's say I created a way to help people and I know that this way of eating works..and I want to share it with people and I do. Others may come along and share too much opposition so I go and open up a different website to share this information. I know websites are not free. A lot of things in life are NOT free. There is a cost for it. One may think well other sites are free... but really are they? Think about it for a moment. When I go to other weight loss sites... there are a LOT of adverizers there promoting this or that. Its like getting a lot o junk mail i my emails o gettng junk mail delivered b the post office. Next, the website is now open, I do charge people to get this information, because lets face it.. running a website is not easy, it IS a full time job, hours and days of working, etc. I have a right to make a living, so yes I will charge. But I keep the cost affordable. Other companies charge hundreds of dollars to join or buy their food or products and that can run into the thousands, but I have compassion, I know how it is to be poor and/or struggling and still wanting to find a way to end obesity or being overweight so I keep the cost affordable. Cause ya know when a person is poor or the working poor, sometimes you can barely make ends meet and you buy what you can afford to feed your family or yourself. I know from personal experience.. I ate a LOT of ramen noodles, bologna and bread and paid the bills and kept a roof over my head for me and my kids... I am sure a lot of us know how it is. If I was trying to rip people off , it would be some pocket change amount of $59.95, it would be hundreds and thousands of dollars instead. you know this as well as I do. Now I am NOT saying that $59.99 or whatever is peanuts. Lets face it.. I didnt have it either to join. If any of you remember that when I first joined this website I shared my story of how my credit card company had raised my credit limit in the amount of fifty dollars and didnt tell me. (okay I didnt open the mail that told me... cause I hate to open mail/bills lol) but the point is this... I had a total of $66.00 available on my credit card. I had a choice to make. Spend it on extra food or invest in my future, my life and I chose to use that credit card to join kimkins for $59.95... thats HOW I joined. and if any of you think I made it EASY for Kimmer ... you have another thing coming. Actually thinking back now, I gave her a hard time and wrote a few choice words in anger to her. I would send her emails asking why she would charge money to help people and does she have some kind of program for poor people who didnt have the money to join, etc, etc. I was rude, lets face it but yet Kimmer was very patient with me, never lost her temper and gave me some other opitons trying to help me. She never gave UP on me and like I said, I later joined by having that $66.00 available on my credit card, so I joined. okay sorry.. back to focus here..... so I open up a website and people are joining and success stories are coming in and people are happy, etc. the diet or way of eating is working and people are losing weight and taking their multi-vitamins, drinking their water, etc. I have kids. Do I really want the world to know WHO I am in person? of course not. you KNOW how the media is... you watch television or read magazines. There is NO privacy for the stars and actors.. none! we know when they sneeze, who they are dating, who they broke up with, what they eat, where they live.. there is NOT a moments peace.. can't go no where without the pop-per-rassie taking photos... do you really think THAT is the type of life I want and for my children or child? of course NOT! so YES I will remain private and lead a private life and use an alias writing name or whatever. Authors do it all the time, as do some other public figures. to me its ALL about choice. The choice we make controls the chooser. Like it or not. I, myself am a loner. I value my space and my home life and my home is MY castle. that is MY chocie. I love it and I have a right to love it. Do I interact with people, of course I do. I interact in person all day long at work and other social events but do I want people coming and invading my private space? NO! and I have that right to do so, just like you do. For those of you who are social butterflies and love being around people all the time, even in your home... high five to ya! ... but I dont. I like a peaceful and quiet life and I have that right and lead my life that way.. again MY choice. so.. do I have to prove myself to anyone? NO and will not. Again MY choice. If you want to be a member of my website and do the plan, thats you choice. If you dont, then dont. End of story. I am not here to prove nothing and don't have too. The diet speaks for itself and you know it works because even if you dont believe nothing on my website.. you see the scale going down because you tried it, yourself. YOU are your own testimony. Bottom line.................. Look we all learn and grow thru out our lifetime and in our journey. We have ALL made mistake or errors in our life, no one is perfect... no one is without sin. We hopefully learn from our mistakes and move forward. Will we make more mistakes in the future? Of course we will.. again no one is perfect... but we learn and grow in the meantime. so let's give it a rest people... try to put yourselves in another persons shoes and imagine how your life woutd be like if you choose to make yourself public... you know as well as I do that as long as you were alive you would NEVER have a monents peace. Look how they tried to crucify Tara Banks when they took pictures of her at a beach.. suddenly she was now fat and whatever .. I mean come on... leave her alone and let her be.. lawrd! are their guarantess that any diet or any diet surgery will last a lifetime? only YOU can answer that. why do I say that? because YOU are in control of YOUR life and what YOU put in YOUR MOUTH. You know this as well as I do. YOU have responsibility for you. For example: If I provide information and you choose to go overboard and I tell you I am not a doctor and you still continue to tweek the diet and do what you want to do and even go as far as being so ambious at losing weight that you ignore the signs that something is happening to your body and health and you choose not to get medical advise or medical care... that is your choice. I am not putting the blame on you, but come on now, take SOME responsiblity is all I am trying to share here. Don't blame everyting on me. I just provided information to hep you and now if you changed it or whatever, thats on you. so lets please work on continuing the journey of being and/or focusing on the positive please. we are grown folks here. My name is fawn and I am 51 years young, black, educated, out-spoken and I shoot from the hip and I honestly try my best to focus on the positive and see the bright side of things and lets NOT get this twisted...
