I adore my doctor. I just started going to her about 5 years ago. She runs tests on you constantly, which can be a real pain sometimes, but she is the most thorough doctor and will not rest until she's sure you're in good health, feel well, and are getting the treatment you need. I wish I had found her years ago.

That primary care physician bothered me, so I googled it and found this on Naturopaths..who are NOT medical doctors either.

What is a Naturopathic Doctor?
Naturopathic doctors are primary care doctors trained in medical diagnosis and treatment who follow five unique principles (see Philosophy of Naturopathic Medicine) to address the cause of illness. The educational and clinical training of naturopathic doctors are similar to that of a medical or osteopathic doctor. In addition, naturopathic doctors also have extensive training in natural therapies including: botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, clinical nutrition, mind/body medicine and physical medicine. When possible, naturopathic doctors choose natural therapies which have few, if any, harmful side effects.

So, I guess it is a "loose term" ..needless to say..Dr. Mark wouldn't have the MD or the DO behind his/her name, so anyone can say they are a doctor of something..it doesn't
denote that they have a degree in it..
