Interstitial Cystitis can be caused by many problems

As you probably know, any bladder symptoms need to be checked out by urine analysis.
Barring infection,

Abdominal surgery can lead to scar tissue which contributes to periodic swelling.
This can be worked on by a qualified massage therapist certified in Visceral Manipulation.

Allergies should be rules out..especially food allergies and sensitivities..

A Clean Colon...people dont like to hear this one but a daily bowel movement is vital. If you have gone through periods of constipation in your life you may want to consider a series of three colonics. They will get you clean and moving and really change the way you _meta_bolize your foods.
Changing your diet the Kimkins way will contribute to less inflammation thoughout the body....a good thing for bladder and joints!

Anyone with personal experience??

You will find so many medical symptoms disappearing on your weight loss journey. Keep it up!

Hello Everyone,

My name is Dr. Mark and I have come here to help. For 20 years I have worked with all types of people, helping them achieve their physical goals:

¡ The athlete that cannot seem to take it to the next level.
¡ The housewife that can not lose the 20 lbs she gained over the years.
¡ The woman who wants to exercise, but the discs in her back give her such pain.
¡ The person who sees food as her only friend.

You can achieve your goals. You can succeed in your weight loss. You can especially succeed in regaining your health!

Sometimes we get caught up only in the goal -- I want to be in that size 5 or I want to lose 60 lbs. Remember that it is the journey and the destination. With every day that you eat better, every week that you lose a pound, you are making your body work better. Your endocrine system, your muscles, your brain … That is what I want for you.

Bring to me your problems and excuses (yes I said excuses). Let’s work on a solution together. I KNOW there is one. Your life is worth finding it.

My name is Dr. Mark and I have come here to help.

Yours in Health,
Dr. Mark

I don't think trotting out a Chinese Herbalist without a last name or a website to link to for credentials or success stories is going to give KK anymore value or respectability. Nice try though to the admins over there...
Well, I see you all beat me to it! I was going to post some Dr Mark stuff here today. I swear. Betcha a million cheesecurls it's Kimmer. There is NO flippin' way in the universe that woman with diarrhea of the mouth and her narcissistic need to be admired and listened to 24-7 is gonna stay quiet and behind the scenes for long.

You wait and see. I'm betting.

Colonics change the way you metabolize food?
He says eating kimkins will contribute to less inflammation but he doesn't address that kimkins causes constipation. I'm not impressed with Dr. Mark so far. Visceral manipulation?

At least he's providing good material.

Now. he wants the KKers to have colonics..Good grief!! Kimmer will be back to prescribing the MOM cocktails, I'm sure. Little does Dr. Mark know that the Kimkins diet greatest side effect is constipation. Maybe he's drumming up business for those colonics!! Ya think???

My doctor advised that I was starving myself and that vertigo was my body's way of warning me that something was wrong. He told me that if I wanted to do low-carb, that was fine and to stick with a sensible plan such as Atkins.

I e-mailed kimkins.com support with my story and requested a refund. Kimmer herself replied via e-mail:

Hello,

I'm sorry but the Kimkins lifetime membership program is electronic media and non-refundable.

You've had access to the Kimkins program including the diet, diet variations, food lists,
grocery lists, weight loss resource links, recipe files, community support forums and certified
athletic trainer for many months.

Your doctor can modify the plan for your needs.

Best regards,

Kimmer

I e-mailed her back and said that if my doctor modified the plan, it wouldn't be "kimkins" anymore. I gave her my IP address and told her to check her weblogs...I only logged into the site once back in June and then again to open a support ticket requesting a refund. I never even used the forums.

Athletic trainer? I somehow missed that perk.

Wow...I was a fool. I wish I would have found LCF first. I sure received my money's worth.

I also wanted to let you all know that even tho Kimmer is busy trying to erase her tracks (the b&a photos, etc.), the deceitful web she hath woven is big...her Technorati web profile still shows the red dress pic:

Take care,

Willow

thanks
Many, many people on LCF asked for current pics. Kimmer always had an excuse for not producing one. There was a particular poster who is still here, who used to ask her outright if she had regained weight.

After Kimmer got mad at this site, she opened up Kimkins.com and everybody here was talking about it cuz they finally got a current pic (the one with the patio chair and zebra design). And of course many thought she looked wonderful at the time. Us Suckers!

Would that sort of thing be found in the wayback internet thing? Because I am pretty darn sure that patio chair was the original Meet Kimmer pic (on the Kimkins.com site).

Willow welcome to the forum. Youre the 4th person I heard that got vertigo too! I too ended up in the hospital with gut wrenching vertigo in early April. 5 days of laying with a towel over my face, in and out of CAT scans and MRI's, everyone thinking Im having a stroke! (I had dropped quite a bit of weight by this time) After my release, I came back to Kimkins and posted on the egg white, over 40s & shake challenges how sick I was. Still the warning bells didnt sound. It wasnt until later that I finally quit the diet completely and now no dizziness since summer. I feel stupid not realizing the dangers of so little nutrients but it was pushed upon us thru fake FitDays and faked photos that this diet was entirely safe. Kimmer kept the photos coming..."SEEEEEE, look at how fast and successful this diet is."
