ok any Legal Savvy people, its time to come in here NOW!! anyone know what is legally emplied with this new ownership thing?? is it like selling a house when you KNOW there is a fault and you sell anyways? you are still responsible?....meaning, hidey got out, but she was the fraud when there...also, tippy knew of the lawsuit in process and all the problems so she would be just as guilty?? MAN!!! wish my 12 year old was older an already in law school...he could have answered!! what was i thinking waiting so long to have that child!!!!!he could have graduated already and help us out..

I only say this because my boss, who is also the owner of the company I work for, does the same thing with her different businesses. It's perfectly legal and limits the business owner's personal liability and protects her assets in the event of loss/failure.

If she's creating a legal entity to hide behind (Inc, LLC, LLP), she's stupider than I thought. She can't protect her assets while committing fraud. It's called piercing the veil. A court can still go after her personal assets.

Or Tippy finally heard the dollar amount necessary to take over the sinking ship. I mean, a large enough check can sway her type. It's all about the moolah with that gal.

I wonder. Did the website ownership get transferred out of Brandon's name? Hmmm??

In any case, the super-scrubbing of the site (I hope she used "green" products, cause that's a lot of sudsing action) is just too telling. Heidi/Kimmer is trying to distance herself, but it won't work. Everyone knows she began The Big Fib and kept it going with Fake Pics and Fake Stories and Overbearing Moderators and Medically Unsound Advice.

You can erase it from the site, but not from existence. Unless the server can be swayed by a cut of the action, too. And I'm guessing...NOT.

ETA: Tippy needs to educate herself about conspiracy and accessory after the fact. There are potential criminal charges here as well as the civil action.

Exactly! Unless they did a full disclouser of EVERYTHING, including any problems going on right now, and have it in the agreement that TT, or whoever the new owner is, are in no way responsible.. The new owner is responisable for it all...

And really now. Who in their right mind would buy this? The cash cow done died. Heidi made the big bucks off of it, and that kind of money isn't going to strike twice...

From what I understand if you buy a business with full disclosure, AND WE KNOW SHE'S HAD FULL DISCLOSURE, on the inner workings of said business you are then responsible for any possible action of the business. For example if someone were to put a lien on the business, it would be the new owners responsibility. That being said if there are possible legal troubles for said business the new owner is also responsible. However if you let SL council you during the deal your double screwed cuz you just let a psychic tell you how to buy your dream business. Meh

Hasn't Kimmer said time and time again that Heidi Diaz isn't Kimmer, but that Heidi Diaz owns a portion of the KK site? So, shouldn't there be some kind of document with either A.) Both Heidi and Kimmers signatures to complete the sale, or B.) a document from Kimmer selling her percentage of the site to Heidi again, with both signatures? Or, did Heidi just "gift" her ownership in the business?
