We cannot make this any more plain that I am not Heidi.
She is totally schizo. Seriously, not being mean...she is.

I have an idea. We should leave Kimmer alone and just go after Heidi. That'll work

NEWSFALSH - considering the amount of money she has raked in, she could be charged with FELONY THEFT. This is a jailable crime.

Not to mention copyright infringement, stolen identity, and advertising fraud.
I was the one that said dependent upon the crimes she was accused of she MIGHT not face jail time.

There is also another issue, according to her ex, didn't I read that she had possibly put the business in her son's name? Thus the funds would technically be going to him not her.

It's all a really sticky situation.

It is also why, while I would really LIKE to ask Catherine more questions right now, I am sure that she should NOT answer any. While Catherine may not be on the stand for the prosecution, she would probably be called by the defense. The point of a defense is to point blame in other directions. Any answers Catherine may provide here, can be used by the defense while she is up on the stand, so why give them any more ammo?

I'm going to point out here, I am not a lawyer, I don't even play one on tv.

No..I'm not a psychic like Singinglass, but I'd like to predict the next member of the "Banned from KK's" club. Check out his post in the "Back on Track" thread Kimmer (or Heidi) started yesterday about how they didn't the investigation would go this far.

Kimmer - Did Heidi "step in as you" on podcast with Jimmie Moore too?
Or was that you?
ETA: Clarification - the poster was addressing Kimmer directly, hence the "Kimmer -" Heidi-Kim isn't posting to herself...yet.

Girl, when you get banned, c'mon over here!

I just thought of something ..... Heidi is a pro at finding pictures on the internet.... I remember when she said I looked like someone that always models clothes in catalogs and she posted the picture on one of the threads here at LCF. So she does prowl the internet for pictures/catalogs..... hmmm.

Catherine: I remember when Heidi e-mailed me and asked me to write up "my story" so she could put it on the KK site. I told her that sure I had joined her site but I never followed her WOE and in fact she was always yelling at me for eating cashews, etc. So after 57# weight loss she asked me again and said it didn't make any difference that I hadn't followed her WOE.

So yes I did write a short synopsis and she altered/changed it until she was happy with it.... In fact up until 1 minutes of being banned it was still on her website. I then wrote to her and asked that it be removed.

OK, I need some help here. There is a story about a guy in the forums over there. The pictures look too staged and I want to copy and post it over here so someone can look for him. I try to copy, but the pictures don't copy. How can I do a screen shot and post it here?

Well, I used monteray jack cheese, cut it into thin slices, put them on a glass plate and nuked them for 4 minutes (but my microwave is O L D so you may not need as much time so just sit there, soaking in the radiation, while you keep an eye on them lol). They will melt, get lacey looking and crisp up. Break them up and you have crispy cheese snacks (I don't remember if they have a name or not). PS. Don't blame the new addiction on me.

It looks, to me, that the fake pics start showing up in newsletter #15. And how clever, use the same model (Victoria) and say starting weight of 141 and ending weight of 123 so you can keep the same person.

(Yeah, I know, kinda Pollyanna but messin with my success stories would have me ranting to myself all day.)

Let me explain my obsession with Success Stories:

To me, the success stories are my raison d'etre. They are a sign that even I, a slug, could someday deign to be amongst those blessed few who are healthy, active and the correct, healthy weight for their size. I buy magazines, newspapers and scan the internet for them, they help me on my whole weight loss journey. Heck, if I look to my left the 1/2 My Size, People magazine from May is sitting on my bookshelf.

I live with a Success Story, my brother and I went on Atkins in July of 2006, his blood pressure was through the roof, his knees were popping all the time and doing basic tasks was becoming an issue. 145lbs later for him, his knees feel great and his blood pressure meds have been cut in half. I am 70 lbs lighter, and still have 100 to go... My Dr has assured me that men are just made different and burn more calories, it is not uncommon for them to lose 2 lbs to a woman's every 1. *sigh* *grumbling under breath* (I will not strangle him in his sleep...I will not strangle him in his sleep)

Seriously though, Success Stories are what made me sign up for her program, it's what has made me buy books such as "Lean for Life" and any other fast cure out there. So to find out that she's been lying about those... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

I stopped doing her diet two weeks into it because I didn't feel "right", unlike Atkins which I had been doing successfully. I put the fats back in my diet and just was a little more diligent on watching my food intake. Lo and behold I gained some weight back and then moved back down to the weight loss I had on Kimkins. I can't really sign up for the "money back" I got what I asked for by signing up for an "quick cure". However, I hope guys get back what you lost financially and that your health issues are fixable.
God, i agree with this. When i really need motivation, i look at success stories. HANDS DOWN, this the cornerstone of selling any diet, people see success stories and sooo many join because of it. Every diet plan uses their before and afters to sell their program, to see the evidence finally of these blatant lies is sickening. I remember looking at all of these, and while i knew the befores didnt match, interspersed in there were real ones, that WERE motivating (like cheryl, amy, deni, christin) so it was enough to believe. What a stupid low down thief. Just a freaking rip off scam artist thief.

A reply by Kimmer in the "Ask Kimmer" thread. Bold is my commentary.

Quote:
Re: Ask Kimmer 10 Minutes ago
Kimmer: I wrote this twice, let me see if I can get it work this time!
I'll bet your body is ecstatic at having 10 pounds less to drag around. Next time you're at the store, pick up two 5 pound bags of sugar and walk around a few aisles with them I think Kimmer is trying to tell us something here...maybe she knows, personally, what this is like? Hmm. (hey, don't leave your purse in the cart! Or I'll get more of your money!) Feels good to put them down, doesn't it?

The "3rd week stall" tends to happen more commonly for people who have done Atkins in the past and look at week 3 as a chance to add more food. Adding an extra veggie serving is good -- adding a couple hundred calories of cheese or other calorie dense food isn't.

Your best bet to keep weight loss rapid is to keep an eye on food choices. Continue focusing on interesting way to doll up chicken, fish, turkey, seafood (there's actually a lot of ways if you're inventive) and try different veggie variations. Lettuce doesn't have to be a salad -- try grilling endive or shredding raddicchio into a bowl of hot chicken broth.

When you get to 25 pounds lost, then I want you to go to the store and drag around a 25 lb bag of dog food. Bet you can't! I bet she can't too, because she'll be so weak her arms will tear off.
Ugh.
