Life isn't easy when you work in a maximum security prison. That was my job. I was a prison psychological evaluator. The stories I hear are extremely stressful to say the least and more often than not I found the stress following me home -- as well as to every fast food place and restaurant from the interstate to my front door. It seemed some day the only things that could make me relax was food. How sick is that I ask you?

Once I realized that food wasn't a cushion and couldn't "save" me I decided to make 2 important changes: 1) lose weight and 2) pick a different line of work. Not that I didn't think what I did was important because I know it was, but those guys were in prison for really serious offenses and the murder inmates were the worst to hear. I needed a change but no way I could interview in the shape I was in.

My girlfriend at work was also trying to lose weight and she found a "Kimkins" website with a diet that offered incredible weight loss stories. I didn't believe it was true to be honest, so my friend joined and started. She was losing weight right away! I watched what she ate for lunch and didn't seem anything special or hocus-pocus (at least it wasn't something you have to buy only from the company like Nutrisystem and Jenny Craig).

I waited 3 weeks and she was already down 17 pounds. That was enough for me so I joined too. I guess I was wrong about it being fake because I started losing by the 4th day. I did get the ketosis symptoms that Kimmer talks about, but it was nothing I couldn't handle and my job keeps me really busy.

Now I can truly say I wish I had done Kimkins earlier and gotten healthy far sooner but better late than never as my grandmother says. And something about spilt milk but one saying at a time. My New Years resolution was to lose weight and here I am!

Oh, about the new job. Yeah, now I'm a therapist for Special Needs kids at a local facility. Their precious faces are like beams of energy for me. I also met my future husband who is also a therapist. He has encouraged me to go outside my boundaries and test the waters. I've tried many new things and am working toward my PhD in forensic psychology.

Thanks to Kimmer and her diet. If not for them I don't think I would have this wonderful blessings in my life. My sister is also trying Kimkins and when she reaches goal, maybe we'll send in "sister" shots for the success story photographs, what do you think?

I guess this proves without a doubt that Kimmer is guilty of fraud.

That is not true. I am the lightest I have been since starting to diet. At the last gathering I was lighter then the previous one... All the other admins look great and have lost weight so I have no idea what Tippy is even talking about but it saddens me to see that someone is making fun of people over weight issues having had them also. And Tippy said she keeps going up and down in weight.. like on the cruise she went on. I would NEVER make fun of her or anyone for their weight issues... This just hurts to no end... I have worked so hard.
