I was just talking to my husband and he said when he got National Security Clearance - and it was the higher level - he had to have 27 character witnesses and 10 financial witnesses. Believe me they interviewed all of them. Also he said that getting a National Security Clearance does NOT stay with you for your lifetime. There is a time limit associated with that.

So how many character witnesses did Heidi come up with and under which alias did she obtain this clearance?

P.S. He said that after he got his NSC he WAS able to show his face in public and use his "real" name....

My gosh, such a long time doing kimkins. If you are reading this thread, PLEASE GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR show him your menu, calories, everything and let him do some tests. Lots of damage can happen in 4 months let alone 7, please see your doctor!

Throw the damn scale away and use the mirror, your clothes, and a tape measure as your weight loss bible. By the way I weighed at the doctors office the other day and their scale was off. I reset it for them but the nurse told me, " We drag that thing all over the office everyday so it's not our fault" . I started to go into a dialogue about what if it meant the difference between life and death but I was late for my testosterone shot. God I love those shots.

Please, don't be embarassed to talk to your doctor. I am a RN and I can tell you there isn't anything you can say to your doctor that she hasn't already heard before. You have to help your doctor help you! Tell the doc the whole story so she can help you the best way that she can.

Don't feel embarassed because you were tricked by a scam artist. I too joined Kimkins; I was one of the original ($14.95) members. I consider myself an educated person in the medical field. I am definately not a 'kid'. I was sucked in by her promises and lies too. I should have known better, but she is very good at what she does. I wasn't on the 'diet' for very long; maybe about 3 months. I left the site a little over a year ago. Yeah, I lost some hair, but it has grown back. Yeah, my blood pressure went really really low and I had some dizzy spells. I don't think I have any lasting damage from the diet, but I was worried when my blood pressure went down to 80/40. I found that out when I went to the dentist and they took my blood pressure.

Go to your doctor and tell her everything. Don't leave anything out. That way she can help you the most. Please don't be sorry or feel bad that you were tricked. Hidey is the one that should feel ashamed, not us! There are so many of us that were also fooled. God Bless you and welcome to LCF.

Just my two cents on this. I took what she said as trying to imply how important she was as an excuse for not using her name on the internet. I don't think she was saying National security clearance as in that was a level of clearance she had (as people have pointed out that's not a level) - she was saying it to imply importance (i.e., as in she was implyin "I hold the nation's secrets so there's no way I'm using my real name on the internet"). When you have one you are not supposed to say which level you have and actually you aren't even supposed to go around telling people you have one so she shouldn't have been posting that to people anyway. If she worked for Hughes, she most likely did have one, but the janitors there probably do too!
