I absolutely LOVED that part. You know I wanted to see the video in the worst way when I took my lunch hour to download it a few seconds at a time because I'm still on dialup!

The best part was that I kept waiting for her to say "No comment," and then, there it was in that same syrupy sweet voice (and I'm sure, said with sprinkled covered lips) that she used when she flirted with Jimmy during the podcast.

Omg, there is a story on a "cookie diet" on the same station as the kimkins story. Maybe that is why Kimmer had sugar cookies in her van

I know this sounds dumb but I get embarrassed for the reporters sometimes who push people for answers. So much in fact I will change the channel.

After seeing the news video from KTLA this morning, I am even MORE appalled about Dr. Pescatore's apparent endorsement of Kimkins Diet in the June 12 2007 Woman's World article about Kiimkins.

Dr. Pescatore's name appears in this article 4 times, and in a context which appears to be endorsing Kimkins. And his "Hampton's Diet" gets an additional mention.

While the author of the WW article is careful not to quote Dr. Pescatore, the result on a casual read IS AS THOUGH HE WAS QUOTED. Where is Dr. Pescatore's outrage over this? My opinion? I'm guessing that he is money grubbing for his own book and Macadamia Nut Oil sales, and doesn't care what he is "seemingly endorsing" that is causing health problems for real dieters.

So far, he makes me sick. His "people" have not responded to my e-mail of yesterday so I'm probably going to get sicker. If he makes you sick too, please write to him at Hamptons Diet and express your concern about his seeming endorsement for Kimkins, as presented in the June 12, 2007 Woman's World article.

Oh - and his web site address at hamptonsdiet.com is right there at the bottom of the WW article next to Kimkins.com. I doubt that the kind and wonderful editors at WW included that just to be nice - without ever talking to him. Or...if they did....then he should pay attention to what's being written using his name and his plan. Or maybe him and Kimmer endorsed each other to begin with. I would be having a stomping, screaming, hungry woman hissy fit if my web site had appeared next to Kimkins in a magazine article - along with some references that made it appear I endorsed Kimkins.

Pass the barf bag, and let's hear from Dr. Pescatore.

The only thing that bothers me about the newscast is that it says that the Kimkins website claims you can lose more than 2 pounds a week. If I remember correctly, if you were losing that little per week, Kimmer called you a slacker.

Thanks and will do. It's making me SICK that someone who claims an MD credential, along with 5 years experience in an important position with Atkins allows himself to be 'used' like this to promote Kimkins.

I hope that everyone who noted that Dr. Pescatore reference in the Woman's World article, and was equally concerned about the appearance of Dr. Pescatore support for Kimkins will WRITE THE SITE. (Hampton's Diet) and ask Dr. Pescatore if he endorses Kimkins.
