but all this talk about Kimkins being unhealthy, I was just wondering what you thought

It could be due to cutting your fat levels too low. Try Omega 3's...those help my joints. I sure feel it when I forget to take them!

the Atkins company lawyer is very very picky about what you can do with their name. a low carber made a printible pocket size copy of the induction food lists and rules on another site and wrote to them asking permission to ad the red A to it and they informed her no way but in a polite manner.

I now fully understand why we have these stupid labels on electric appliances that say….do not submerge in water LOL….its for these type of people who would do just that and then cry bloody murder LOL…….

On a serious note I would consider having your physician check your
-Vitamin D levels- this is needed for calcium absorption
-calcium levels - Kimkins is void of calcium
-dexa-Bone density scan and then based on those results go from there.
You should get a basic work-up in order to rule out any other issues.

Now my other comment would be more a joke line....because of sitting at the computer trying to read all the Kimkins drama....
I know I use humor sometimes to help with the disappointment of it all.

And Sandi, sometimes a physical trauma can induce fibromyalgia. Sof if all the other tests fail, you might look at that. My hips hurt like crazy most of the time, but especially when I sit on any but the softest chairs. Don't want to scare you, but aching bones sounds familiar to me.

As far as I know, yes. I don't know it from a lawyer side, just the business side. In my state registration is required for ALL business entities.

Ummm...I listed four ways to legally be recognized as a business in CA...to do business in the state, you ahve to do at least one method of registration to do business.

Register with City
In Kimkins case, that would be Corona - nope, no record of her registering there....as a sole proprietor this would be the very least she would have to do legally to be recognized as a business operating in Corona, CA....she could have also used this to register a partnership, which is how Kimkins is claimed to have launched and claimed it now remains - a partnership - so she has not legally taken care of the business she needed to to be a business entity or DBA in CA.

Register with County
In Kimkins case, that would be Riverside - nope, no record there either (see above)

Register as an LLC
In Kimkins case, that would be through the state, and a search of LLC's since March 2006 shows no record

Register as a coroporation (any type)

hmmm, i was lurking around the internetlooking for an idea for supper, and came across this amazing recipie. thanks kimmer!!!

Ingredients

8 oz beef broth (canned OK)
1 raw egg, separated
Fresh ground black pepper
Chives (optional)

Heat broth to simmer over medium heat. Carefully slide the egg yolk into the broth and continue to simmer for 1 minute, then slide egg white into broth. Continue cooking 2 more minutes or until poached to personal preference.


Top with freshly grated black pepper and serve in a pretty bowl with chive garnish if desired. Start to finish in 5 minutes!

If you havwe fibro, then almost any stress, physical or emotional, can trigger an episode. And my pain is mostly in my back and hips, but sometimes it moves to my shoulders, hands, calves, and/or feet. Then it eventually stops and moves elsewhere. So if you have fibro, the stress of the diet could very well trigger a new pain. However, as will any fibro pain, you really have to eliminate any other source before you decide it's the fibro that is causing it.

It was deleted from here so I only think a handful of us saw it.

Sorry, but they are filtering/ moderating my posts. This causes them to take a long time to post, and I have been scanning through, but have not found the one that I wrote last night. I still hold though that I really do not want to fight or anything like I have seen when other admins and the like have tried to converse over here.

I had a post over at KK talking a bit about why I did not originally say anything, and was surprised it did not end up here as well. Firstly it was because of the investigation, and there are other things that for this reason I have not discussed. Little pieces of info were leaked out that were confusing, largely people not knowing what TT was refering to, and so I clarified it a little.

I seem calm because that is typically how I react to stressful circumstances....I imagine some of you read the other stuff Ducky posted about me, and feeling at threat is not something new or that I do not know how to deal with. However, it was upsetting regardless, especially at first.

Yes, I have taken security measures. I however cannot really go stay with anyone else---were it any other time I would have gone to my sister's and brother in law's....but she is pregnant in her first trimester and really anxiety prone, and I do not want her to know about any of this. I do not want to cause that kind of risk with her, and I know she would panic if she knew.

Some of you may have noticed I was not posting much this last week and weekend...this is because I was performing in an opera revival from my summer production. My time was rather consumed. That post that has been circulating was posted with a time stamp at a time that I would have been sitting backstage putting on gloves and listening to the overture.

As for thinking Kimmer created the calls. They came from many different states and voices ( but all were women at least). One even had some kind of baby mobile or toy playing in the background which gave it kind of a morbid twist. Yes, I have voice mails.

The good thing that has come out of me making it known, is that the calls stopped. I guess they realized it is being reported.

I think what is upsetting to me though, is that over at ducky they are still trying to act like they did nothing wrong, ignoring the fact that they put my info out and told people to call it---but now are saying calling me is bad and should not be done? They also were denying that any posts of a threatening nature were allowed up on their site, and you can still see this in their comment sections ...until several people brought up having personally seen the posts. I think in trying to say that I or someone else associated with the kk site staged this or made it up, you have to first look at where it came from and was started--what the cause was. How could that have been of our doing?

For those of you trying to say it is made up, I cannot help but wonder if that is in part to make yourselves feel better and to detatch from a crime that has happened..... To ride it off as not being real so that it does not have to be addressed as such or any kind of blame taken. No matter who did it, I think that kind of perspective or attitude---disregarding----could just set someone else up to be hurt in the same way. How would any of you feel to wake-up tomorrow to calls like that and discover it was generated from your personal info being posted with instructions to harass you as if it was some kind of game or entertainment? I can assure you it is neither.
