There does seem to be a great effort to find fault in each and every individual post so the whole group can be disparaged. But here's the thing. We are doing it in the open. We aren't suppressing speech.

We are open. We are individuals. We are looking for the truth. If we stray, we don't try to pretend we didn't make a mistake. But guess what? I refuse to feel guilty for asking questions, for pointing out facts, and nobody else here should either.

Just for clarity, the woman wearing the bikini is not Kimmer or Heidi. It's an affiliate. The first two pictures on her page are supposed to be Heidi, and the second two are the affiliate. Unless there is another picture of Heidi in a swim suit that I'm not aware of.

Ok has anyone sent WW an email asking why they are allowing their magazine image to be used on the KK site? I mean if they had a problem with Martin using it, and now with all of the info, shouldn't we see if they will have Heidi remove that as well? This has really gone on long enough. I'm now getting irritated, especially with the changing of the site. This is madness!

ETA I have no doubt Sheridan, that needed to be hashed and rehased to derail the work being done. It's over now.

ETAA: Does anyone have the email address for ww mag? I can't seem to find it, due to the fact that I'm lazy. Thanks....and I'm thinking Honeybee will have it

Martin never removed it so I thought he proved it was OK to use. Of course...he was using it under a differernt pretense than Heidi is. Or should I say Tippy. lol

Absolutely! That poor woman. That is awful! I had a staph infection as a child from too many mosquito bites (those evil little devils LOVE me!) and it was terrible. I was very sick.

Hopefully she will be well soon. And, I hope a few other folks over at KK's learn from this and not let it happen to them. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey btw, I went to Martin's site and grabbed the name and number off of the cease and desist they got and called the woman and left a message re: the mag being on the kimkins site. I left my number for a call back so lets see if she calls me.

Ginger is in my prayers.

My mother died of an MRSA infection in 2004. Hers went internal and damaged her heart. It only took one week for the infection to kill her.

IIRC Dr. A died from a heart infection although I don't know if it was MRSA.

Martin was using it under the "fair use" publicity laws. But he did put a big black censored on it. I think most covers fall under fair usage if done to point out articles within. The articles themselves cannot be published, from my understanding.

They justify, and think that this is legal to do to me because my phone number is publically listed.

Now, as for the rest...they somehow think they were posting " dirt" about me, in the form of an artist profile displaying my angel and fairy drawings---I actually cancelled my membership with them two years ago, so did not realize that they still were hosting my profile/ images. They also posted a profile I have on a Harry Potter news site that I have not accessed since 2003 or 2004, and then they found a cached listing of me on LDS friends from almost 7 years ago. I never was even a paid member or anything, but rather a male friend of mine had been on my computer making a listing for himself, and had thought it would be funny to put me on there as well. Thus, it was something I forgot even existed....and also, is why that listing states that I am 26, when my current age is 32. I really do not care much about any of this being posted....So I draw Angels and like Harry Potter.....yes, I guess that makes me evil. ::grin:: What I found interesting though, was that they did not _link_ or post to the numerous press releases they must have unearthed ( once they had my full name) with my name listed in connection to musical and theatrical productions, my former University etc..I guess that did not fit the image they wanted to try to portray of me or something.

The point of all this though, is that they have gone too far and into illegal activity. No one under any circumstances should have to experience something like this....and I do not understand how they can be over there with the stance that they are doing what is right and out to save people, when their tactics involve threatening and jepordizing the safety of complete strangers. I wonder how any of those people who called me would feel if I were to post their names and phone numbers here ( and I have several)...and have people call them etc? No, of course they would not like it, would feel invaded, and threatened and so forth. Anyone would. So I ask that they consider that and try to think about how they would feel were they in my position---if they and/ or their families were placed into a threatening position all for the sake of what many people consider to be a form of entertainment. Even now they have comments over there about how this is the best fun, pulling out popcorn, bring us more etc.....its says a lot about the kind of people behind this."

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom! Is that infection also called "septis(sp?)" ? I heard if you get that - it will affect all your organs and the chance of survival is it's bad enough is not good. We had a neighbor gal that had hip replacement (she was about 45 years old). I saw her up and walking around her backyard one day and the next week I heard she was in the hospital. She developed this infection and died within a few days. That is nothing to fool around with.

GinaC, Dr. Atkins died from a concussion resulting in brain damage and death. He slipped on some ice outside his office and cracked his head on the curb. While I think that anyone that made a threatening phone call should face responsibility for that heinous act, I also can't believe that someone would post all of that info on the web in the first place! What was she thinking? Psychic my rear end.
