I feel sorry for those over at the Kimkim compound wanting their PMs back and not knowing that Kimmer is just afraid to impliment it again because someone is hacking into them. I guess this person isn't happy with Melt becoming an Admin:

would like to know how to get in touch with Kimmer or a Admin ( other then Melt ). I have some concerns about some changes to the staff and board and would like to discuss them with someone who would be willing to explain them to me. Since there is no PM I have no way to contact anyone .

Cheryl...everyone one is blocked from PMs EXCEPT Heidi and Sl. The people over there, just don't know it. I don't even think Heidi and SL are using it much as it can still be seen...woohoo!! lol If they force the people to say what they want in a thread instead of a PM (which we know they could read anyway...), they can get more people to say yeah, or nea and then DELETE them!!

Does this make any sense at all? It is 4:30 am, and I am having a bit of insomnia. I could be delerious here. LOL.

You know what I was thinking last night? I have been on the boards here for years. Kimkins was not my first or only BB community, but if it was I might have defended Heidi for a while too. I think that some of the people that are defending Kimkins just don't want to lose what they have found in the community there, because it is all they know. Does that make sense?

Doodle: Absolutely..This happens all the time. It happens in churches alot. People will stay with a church because of the people, even though they don't
care for the preacher or don't believe what he is saying. I have seen this happen several times in my personal circle of friends.

There are many OTHER wonderful places on the net for lowcarb community..They just have to be creative and "find their friends". I guess Amy has 300 peeps and Jimmy has a bunch and we have a bunch and there are other places. They should all just go together..

I think alot of the Becky/Christin/Deni/Amy fans are with them..which is a wonderful place for them to be. These gals are great!!!

she did explain this earlier in the thread and others (even some that had pointed out the same thing you did) agreed there IS a difference in what she did. she cut out parts of a post within the same thread she was posting in. so it's there for all to go back and see the context it was originally written in. those bringing partial posts over from the kimmer board is not the same. those of us that can't go read the posts in their entirety have no way to go see the context it was written in. we don't have access to that information.

I totally agree and I think all along THEY were the heart of that community. Kimmer/Heidi had little to do with any of it when you really think about it.

Well it looks like T-man is back on track but his girlfriend is trying to get her appitite back?

Well folks I am back again.

It's been 2 weeks since my fiance (kaialat) was sent to the hospital. Since then she has returned and is doing wonderfully (still trying to recover her taste for things and appitite). However while she was there and for a few days right after I wasn't even thinking of eating according to plan. I ate what I could, when I could, and didn't frankly care about it at that point.

Well since I wasn't paying attention I managed to gain almost 20 lbs back at one point. I have been doing better and as of today I am down to just 6 lbs over what I was when she went into the hospital.

I didn't feel it was necessary to change any of the tickers, or my status in the challenges I am in since it didn't effect my status (I had already reached one challenge goal, and it wasn't an issue for the other).

There may be some of you who are upset with me for doing things this way, and I understand that, but it was and is my decision.

wonder if and when his girlfriend will make the connection between her health and the diet!

Oh..I was a little askeered of it, Doodle..Now I get it!!! They DID have a quality group of women at KKins for a while. It took them a while to figure out what Kimmer was like and how dangerous the diet was, but they did..Thank God! They seem very happy now and a bit relieved to be out of it. Although, they are in the "fight" with all of us, which is wonderful..

I just hope something happens to Heidi soon. We all need to start focusing on positive things. I think we have a makings for a good challenge group here!

I was thinking the same thing - 20# in two weeks is frightening! Wonder if he will put 2 and 2 together!!!!

Now..remember tarvos is a big guy!! I'm sure he is starving all the time and really enjoyed the hospital food. I'm sure he eats more than 800 calories on KK..That would be an interesting question for him..

Guys: When you are starving, then you eat, your body grabs onto every morsel that you bring into your mouth. It's the feast/famine
thing. That is to help us survive during the times when we can't hunt..LOOLOL..
15 pounds in 4 days is ridiculous..and sad.

I'm with you on the 5 pounds for a week of vacation..Thank you, Dr. Atkins.

I'm several pages behind so I don't know if anyone addressed this or not. Fawn is the one who wrote the post "Kimmer the legend". She is posting at Jimmy's now and is getting totally furious if someone even asks her about that post. She has even gone to Jimmy and told him to tell those people (I guess there were three different incidents) to leave her alone. If she would just explain her sudden change of mind, it would clear it all up. I think she's weird.

Kimmer hasn't been seen in a few days and other than Melt...very few answers by the other Admins too...but, there are so few people over there now they don't need to pop on but every other day.

Personally, I think she is a fraud! She seems to be "active" on the Kimkins site still (unless the admins are using her login...as we know they do). Sorry, I'd like her to explain herself. I really don't trust her. I know she speaks her mind and I know she is on Jimmy's site but she also seems to still be on the Kimkins site. Have your cake and eat it too? Playing Devils advocate? Just wondering....I have no problem with one of the Kimkins people coming over here and voicing their support (or to Jimmy's for that matter, or anywhere else)...just be honest and support whichever you are supporting. Just my .02

ETA: I apoligise if someone is making it look like she is still active at Kimkins.
