I am finally caught up too! I never dreamed when the first thread started on June 27th that it would still be going on at the end of September! I hope it is finished before Christmas! Or noone will get any gifts! (No time for shopping, you know!)

I do think they should keep some of that stuff (access to their new board) under wraps as it will make Kimmer and her minions go ever further underground and we'll learn less and less what's going on... as much as I love it though LOL

Ok, here is MY take on Melt. We were allconvinced Melt was Heidi....close but not cigar.....could Melt be Brandon???...i mean he could be very upset about what is happening to mommy, cause when she goes to jail he:
1- has no more money coming in from her
2-no more job since he is taking care of the site
3- his mama is going to jail AGAIN

...since the apple never falls far from the tree, i am just wondering if she created Melt for him and gave him carte blanche to treat people the way he wants, have fun with it...dont know., just a suggestion!!!

But when ketosis kicked in and the "don't eat if you're not hungry" mantra was told to everyone over and over again, I think right there is the problem and why the calories were so low. And yes Kimmer is very persuasive. Mixes just enough truth with hogwash to make you think what she says is right.

Yes I agree Dr Atkins advised eating snacks and high fat ones at that which means your body will still 'think' it's getting food and not being starved.All the fasting stuff and drinking diet cola all day doesn't help either ED anyone? Spend $$$

I'm glad I missed the "almost" fireworks yesterday! I would have been glued to this monitor. I spend too much time here as it is!
A little disappointed that it is taking so long to bring Kimmer down, but it WILL happen. From what I've read, there is not much going on there. I mean, who is left? A bunch of big ole mean admins (not much support there that I can see). Again I say, the glory days are long past. What can possibly be going through Kimmers mind? At some point she just has to give up or give in. Do you think she sleeps well at night? I can't imagine.

I take responsibility for the fact that I chose to eat very low calorie on Kimkins even though my BMI was good before I started her plan. I used really poor judgment with my eating in spring/summer 2006, I keep wondering why.

My question for myself boils down to this: why did I believe the statements of someone with an iffy avatar over the dozens of posters who disagreed with her and had more studies AND more credible personal weight loss to back their opinions up?

The answer is simple but embarrasses me. It was Heidi's online charisma. It was her use of flattery, her use of smileys, her enthusiasm for her weight loss principles, her peppy use of the exclamation point, her lies about her life of community service and her false humility.
