OK....so that should make it a little more clear to someone else just reading the responses to a "new Innocent" poster that they come with a lot of baggage themselves. That when many of us may question them it is based on comments they left on Kimkins or the night before that got deleted!

hey, I'd be more than happy to tell her I was doing it, however, I am not katinsac on the KK site as I was banned...I have a feeling she may be now too as she said her name here in her post. At least I was nice and never mentioned her name over there until she posted it here. And for the record. It was Tracy with a Y not "ie". My mistake. wow, that must have happened after I went to bed, bummer..I missed it, lol.

Well then Kiwi8 posted this rant to be honest and I posted the words

RESIST DISTRACTION. at first it said RESIST DETRACTION so I edited it so it will all be on my post. So whatever time I did that she had just posted.

I would assume she has been reading the boards and could tell from your posts and such that you have access to Kimkins. She just used your name "Katnsac" in her post here. I don't know if she knows your screen name over at Kimkins.

I just caught up on some interesting reading tonight and realized that obviously I have made a mistake, yet again, in sharing anything. well, enough said I guess

In my opinion, they are all welcome here and I think we all would like to help them and encourage them to find a better way of eating, however, when they come in fighting, some just can't help fighting back. I do think most who comment to them try real hard to be nice but do want to get them to see the fraud that Kimmer has done and wonder why they don't see it. As someone else said....they are either going to see it or they are not. I think we do need to just back off when they come in fighting. We could just ignore their rants and just keep posting what Kimmer has done, etc. and they would get tired and go away or keep trying to say their side. I don't know. I do think this is coming to an end...real soon. Then we all can start healing.

I'll mention up front that I'm on Kimkins Board. No subterfuge. I'm just a member, who is doing Atkins again. I only followed K/E for about two weeks, had some issues, went back on Atkins, gained back weight lost on K/E and then lost it again after doing induction for two weeks.

I came to this board because two members over at Kimmer kept bringing up the whole "how awful" thing and I got curious. I found people that were geniunly hurt on this thread and people that want to lose weight and are supportive on the other threads. The same type of people that were on Kimkins. So I said to myself "you're looking for support now that your diet buddy has reached goal *my brother went on Atkins with me and is now down 145 lbs*, why don't you join TWO support groups?" So here I am.

I understand you guys are upset. I understand why. I'm distressed for you that this has sidelined your life. I just think someone needs to set some realistic expectations. But before I do, I'm stating that I am not a lawyer:

1. Lawsuits take years to go through, not days, weeks, nor months.

2. I'm not sure of all the infractions Kimmer has done, there may be more than perpetrating a fraud, but they may result in a trip to holding, then bail, and then a court trial which ends in a fine and not jail time. The jails are full in CA, they don't put non-violent criminals behind bars as a general rule.

3. While the initial injuries probably will not be excused, the fact that the business is cleaning up its act on the site (yes I know it's not squeeky by any means) will probably work in its favor.

4. I know all of the above is going to be upsetting to you. I'm sincerely sorry.

5. If any of you have every lived with a smoker, you will know this is true. No matter how much you know it's bad for them, people don't quit a bad habit until they want to.

I hate the fact that there are so many people hurting here. I've read through all the threads and have seen where some of you have stated you've stalled in your weight loss because the stress of this and not being able to get back on track. You are letting the situation win, get your mind back in the game. You were doing this weight loss for you, now you need to get back to it via Atkins, Refeeding or whatever dietary program your doctor recommends to you, don't let her steal your successes too.

one have to know which of all their choices is the correct one for what you are trying to say
and two from experience many times the words offered by spell check aren't anywhere close to what i was saying. I've even has spelling sticklers correct my spelling in parts they quote and had to ask them where did I say that cause they assumed my mess was a word I wasn't using.

I am also dyslexic. I spell check a lot as well, and a lot of times it gives me the wrong words and I don't always catch it.. Most of my misspelled words have all the correct letters in them, just out or order. Sometimes I get the letter next to the intended letter on the keyboard even while staring at the letters as I type! You will see most of my posts have an edited message at the bottom because a lot of times I go back and edit a few times in a row. it takes me a few readings to catch my mistakes and those of spell check. and a few other reasons.

I really would not worry about it so much, but I used to get critiqued a lot for the things I write. Even though I have a problrm with words when writing or typing, I am actually an excellent speller and people always ask me how to spell things. Spelling out loud I have no problems with. Also, it is twice as bad when emotional in ANY direction.

pesky..welcome..I've seen this post before...did you post it at KK or have you already posted it here before?

I think most of the people here have started their healing process and have found another WOE. Appreciate your info and concern though.

I hope you go to the ML and find some support groups for you to join.

Oh ((Kim)) what is wrong? I have been trying to read and play catch up and I have caught bits and pieces but I have not yet put it all together as far as how things got off track or what happened.
