I've followed this thread from day one, and so I've watched it evolve like many of you have. When new information was coming out every day, it was exciting and positive. We were amazed at the pictures, the aggressive information gathering, the law suit, and the relatives revelations. Then, I believe because of the law suit and other investigations, information dried up completely. All we now have available is quotes from the KK site mostly. They are pasted here and then picked up by Ducky and other blogs. So the tone has changed due to lack of new information in the quest to stop Kimmer. Now, in the last two days, there has been an interesting new approach from KK--blame the users of the site who suffered and change the site to hide the truth. Realistically, the KK people have become the aggressors, and we on the site have gone into defense mode. The focus has been diffused and the mission lost in a sea of attacks and counter attacks. Realistically, we are struggling because new information is not being shared in order to further the legal approaches that are being persued. So we have to wait. Let's do it with grace, supporting those who are hurting and refusing to be baited by those who want to destroy us.

I have hesitated to post some of my thoughts because the written word can always be misinterpreted, and I really don’t want to be attacked, but after today I feel like I have to express my feelings. I just want to point out that if I, a member here for four years, am fearful to say what I think, how do you think new people feel? Why are we doing this? It’s getting in the way of what, I think, most of us are trying to do here and that is to get that Kimkins site shut down.

How many pages do we read before we even see Heidi’s name anymore? When people (and I’m not talking about Tippy or Singinglass) come here, we have an opportunity to state the facts of why we feel the way we do. Instead we immediately go into attack mode if one wrong thing is said.

Where is the focus and what is the goal? The goal is get rid of Heidi, and frankly, I sometimes think we lose sight of that, as we are so caught up in unnecessary drama.

Just so I’m clear on where I stand, I feel like Heidi and anyone in a paid position on her site are fair game. That includes the paid admins and moderators and whatever other titles some of these people hold. When a person is paid to dispense advice, that person SHOULD be held responsible.

Let’s learn some tolerance here and not just for the Kimkins members who haven’t left yet - but for our own people - right here.

If you read a post, before you lash out, take a step back. Reread it several times. See how other people respond to it. Just maybe they will see something in the post that you didn’t see. Maybe they will have an entirely different slant on it. Some of us are here because of side effects from Kimkins. Some are here because they paid for a web site and didn’t receive what they were promised. Others are here because, let’s face it, it is pretty entertaining and even funny at times. Others are here because they like the drama.

Regardless of the reason, let’s learn to be a little more tolerant. We have so much information to provide that we don’t have to go into attack mode. There’s no reason for it.

You expressed what I've been thinking and feeling for many pages now. W/o a clear focus, the mob circles and starts selecting victims. We're slipping, guys, time to pull up our socks and wait for more news on Heidi. I'd hate for us to be compared to one of those tropical ant swarms that eats everything in its path, leaving only devastation in its wake. That's NOT US, right?

No this is not correct, I don't know how many teenagers you had there but I was told there were a few on this diet, one whom used to post there was a 14 year old girl. There was a big uproar about it from all of us which she became aware of and wanted to up her calories, Upon asking kimmer on your forum how she could up her calories to 800-1000 (which is still too little!) because she was eating 500 calories a day she was told by Kimmer herself for all to see that it wasn't necessary as whether she was 14 or 84 years old she was getting all her calories from her body fat.

There was also a time when a mother asked if their 14 year old girl whom simply had love handles and a tummy could do it in which kimkins said all kimkins basically is, is low in simple sugars so not dangerous but that for teenagers she recommend extra calcium from danone yogurt, string cheese etc or a calcium supplement instead for faster weight loss. I will add that she did say that with teenagers to check with doctor but thats just a legal thing and she certainly didn't discourage!!!

Also I just realised upon looking at the screenshots when this mother posted about her 14 year old another mother replied saying she was doing it with her 13 year old!!!

So there is 3 right there!

No, the post you were referencing didn't say anything about Ducky. But it was KimATC's reaction to having all her personal information posted on Ducky's website. How's that a wild goose chase? I understood the context of what she was saying.

Kim and Flower are good friends. They've been part of a challenge together here together for years. I've known Flower for years as well. Flower has never made it a secret that she supports Kim, and she was disappointed when Kim left LCF. She continues to support Kim now that she has returned, just like everyone else.

I hope that in the future you do a little more research before you tell someone they're silly or that they have nothing to contribute here.

I also got from that post that Kim was having a lot of trouble, in fact, i posted something after that,that she was being unfairly targeted, and pm'd her my support and asked what if i could do anything.People were whaling on her, and i thought it was unfairly. she was very upset, and to have your job threatened is bad enough. And that post did mention her daughter in it...i dont think anyone ever said exactly what was posted at the time, but it was more like a general feeling, she was targeted by Ducky, and having a hard time with it. SO it coming about in the last couple of days is no big surprise. Anyone surprised by it, doesnt pay attention to the people they were ripping on when they thought they were the bad guys.

I see some are still on there that are aware of the fraud, etc... but they have not deleted her "yet"
I did contact many of her "friends" on there warning them of her diet fraud, gave them links, etc...
My response was a few said leave them alone, the others were aware or not aware at all.
There are bulletins being sent out to her "groups" warning them of her fraud.
Since I started this campaign maybe less than a week ago, she had 174 friends I believe, now it is at 163.

I understand and have read others say that it was like that when kimmer had her "ask Kimmer", but would that have been an issue in August 2007 which was when the poster was last here?
The fascination thread started 6-27-07 with pics so that seemed to not ring true that the member would not have been able to debate kimmer not be valid when she was last here. IMHO

You say you feel cheated but that you were lied to before. Does that make this OK? As far as calories go, I didn't know how much I needed until I researched it. I believed her when she posted that formula (anyone have it?) where you figure out how much you have to lose and how much of that weight you can live off of. Please don't assume you know what I was aware of.
