That's exactly right (well, in other words of course). The you carry all the food you need crap? Completely bought that. NOTHING ever said about essential fatty acids, etc. Atkins says you need to eat fat to burn fat. NEVER was THAT discussed. And that brings up another point: When the action that is in JustKim's avi occurs, and this chapter of our cyberlives is closed--it is my not so humble opinion that the ASK KIMMER thread go POOF b/c it is BAD ADVICE from a FRAUD. Just sayin'...

*I had NO low carb experience. I believed the domino effect. I believed the stored food bs. It went against everything I previously knew but I had no idea that it wasn't how low carb was done. NO idea. I took the advice of a woman who claimed to have lost almost 200 pounds and maintained that weight loss for 6 or so years. I PAID to join this site. It's based on lies. It's fraud. It hurts people. How does a woman who has claimed to maintain her weight loss for 6 years not have a plan already figured out for maintaining that weight loss? I started to question things when I saw her telling people to lower already extremely low calories. I started to realize something was very wrong when I started to see so many being banned, questions being deleted, and her had enough post.

The site is set up to dazzle. Look at all the success stories there USED to be. Read the testimonials (the ones still left up). Look at the pictures that haven't been removed. Were they not inspiring? I'm sorry but she started a business and she had/has a responsibility and an obligation to the people that PAID to join her site to supply a safe and healthy method for weight loss and no matter who you point the finger at it's not going to change the fact that these responsibilities were, and still are, hers!
I'm no idiot, I assure you. Neither are the many others who fell for this. If I went on a diet and lowered my calories on my own knowing I would harm my health then shame on me. But, I paid for a diet that was promoted as healthy and safe and it wasn't. Shame on HER!

When I was here before, SingingLass was a "normal" helpful person to me, I'm so sorry to see she morphed into this person that condones the actions of someone so deceptive...sad, very sad. I'll step back into the shadows of lurkdome now, and watch and laugh with all of you because you all are cracking me up with a lot of your posts!

I know others have chimed in but that so acurately illustrates the essence of the Kimmer/Kimkins phenomena that I had to comment. Bravo, emily1965!

ITA! I've had this thought many times since coming to my senses about KK's. I think Hidey is miserable and wants to lash out and hurt people by spreading false information about a "healthy" way of dieting.

You know, KK's (I'm afraid) puts the die in dieting! That should be her new slogan!

Look if someone is selling you advice and they tell you to jump off a bridge, what are you going to do??? now maybe just maybe I am being to blunt and out there for some of you, but yup we most likely got burnt, but I did come away with some information that I never knew before......so what to do now.....start being mean to the members who are still there for whatever their reason's??? It is sad when someone has such little self worth they find acceptance and recognition promoting criminals who run fradulent enterprises, isn't it? Sadder yet is when they do it with full disclosure of the facts. I can understand those who in the beginning thought they were doing the right thing because the facts were not known. But anyone who now chooses to participate in furthering this disasterous endeavor after so much evidence has been presented deserves to also participate in the consequences of their actions. (See Jeffrey Skilling and Enron for details).
