Unfortunately, a side effect if this ordeal ever does make it to the big screen (Dateline/Oprah/whatever...), would be that there could be lawyers lining up to help Kimmer, simply to get the free media publicity. So, I agree with Julie. There's just no predicting the actions of a person such as Kimmer (especially since it seems that things have turned a bit personal with regard to recent rantings and presumed emails).

That being said, I think the best course of action for people who believe they have been defrauded or harmed by Kimkins is to sign up for Jeanessa's lawsuit. Don't ever be afraid to let justice be determined in a court of law. But just be aware that victory might not be as easy or quick as it seems like it should be... afterall, nothing worthwhile is EVER easy

Done! Finally whew. Let me ask all you chatty Cathy's how you missed the most important posts in the last few pages. Did ya'll see Carolynf's post about the Body Bar. That is THE same exact thing that Heidi is accused of. Also if you read it did you read this little nugget:

3. Be patient. Losing weight and inches takes time.

That is from the FTC. The same organization that Heidi has been reported to. Do you see the irony. Do you see that as soon as they are done investigating she will also be dealt the same blow? Come one ladies, let us rejoice.

And putting my Jr. Atty hat on here for a moment. Heidi can't sue for Harrassment. Sorry she can try but a judge will throw it out in a heartbeat. It won't make it to trial. She will have to pay money to lose a case. She's not that stupid. In order for her to have been harrassed she would have to be innocent. Asking her for your money back is not harrassment. Having things turn up about her on the net by people who no one knows (face it none of us know who Ducky really is so good luck serving him/her). The people involved in the lawsuit aside from Jeanessa haven't used their real names on this site, so um...again good luck proving who is whom on the duck front. It's silly to think that this is a possibility. Because even if a lawyer would take it the judge wouldn't let it get to trial, based on stupidity.

This is a pic of Mock Egg White Oatmeal from the recipe box. Looks like when my dog gets sick. It's made out of Davinci's & egg whites. The most nutritious part of the egg-the yolk-gets left out.

"Take 3 egg whites in a bowl and pour in some of the syrup - its better with more - but like 1/4 cup should be fine. Mix it really well and pour it into a well "PAMed" pan on Med-high heat. Use a fork or spatula and continually mix it around in the pan. It won't look like eggs, it will look like mush (but it tastes good so don't worry) It probably takes only about 2-4 minutes to cook. Then I pour it in a bowl and add 1 or two packets of sweetener and I put a LOT of cinnamon on top."

I'd put a lot of cinnamon on this too

Just wanted to reiterate that anyone that has done, is doing, is thinking about doing, or knows someone who is doing Kimkins should head over to watch Christens video blog ASAP. (and I KNOW that there are some of the above listed lurking here)

I've struggled with Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa my whole adult life and I'm telling you - the problems arising for members of this "diet" are the EXACT same things that I, with an eating disorder suffer from. Its nothing to screw around with and its sad.
My heart goes out to all of you dealing with the aftermath of this horrid plan.

OK, Question:
I have read Singinglass's comments to Heidey where she mentions her business as a psychic.........How come she doesn't know the true outcome of this if she is a psychic? If she is that good she doesn't even have to give "Hidey" advice.......she could see the future and figure it out for her!!!!!

OK, I stopped Kimkins after 13 weeks because I read Christen's blog about side effects showing up. Last week I went to the doctor about migraines and had him run a complete blood count and metabolic panel. Everything showed up OK except elevated liver enzymes. He said it's not uncommon and he's not concerned at this point, but if they're still up in 3 months he'll order more tests. Here's the thing: as soon as I got off the phone with him my first thought was, "Oh good! Now I can go back on Kimkins for a few weeks and lose those last 13 lbs!" (I gained 5 back when I started eating more.) Now how stupid is that? But it really is a temptation. It's seductive. I just listened to Christen's podcast and it made an impression, but still... I never thought I would have to talk myself into eating. I never had that problem before.
