Wasn't there an issue of having employee testimonials on the site? I thought that came up with TT became an admin.

she seemed so optimistic, i didn't want her to be disappointed.

as for how i feel about where you stand on it...i wouldn't say it'd "make my day" to see you give in.

As I keep thinking about this in my mind, I wonder to myself..how is it possible to give diet advice for 7 years (I think she has been a member here since 2000?) all the while not using any of it for herself? I do believe heidi and kimmer are the same person because one or the other would of made an appearance after those very unflattering surveillance pictures surfaced to make a statement about it not being them. Doing kimkins is the only thing that has actually worked in terms of weight loss for me tho, so it seems if the diet actually works, why wouldn't she use it for herself? I mean she gave free advice for FOREVER, help, support, and it was all just to hear herself talk? or type rather?

If you haven’t then, here is the surprise for you, she was the one who was able to lose more than 198 lbs in a single year, and she’s the one who actually shared her experience of her very own custom made diet which proved so amazingly successful- she is the founder of the Kimkin’s Low Carb Diet!"

My name is Moller and I lost 198 pounds in 11 days and have kept it off for 2 MINUTES!

I have to chime in here, b/c I have had a dog in this fight for a year. I am one who, in the beginning, defended the diet as is, etc....and I would LOVE to see all well meaning, caring, law abiding people "give in" because what is there to defend? A scammer, a liar, a law-breaking sociopath? Just because you agree with the diet and it has "helped"? It "helped" me, too, with no apparent side effects other than my gall issue which I blamed on myself, not the diet and then corrected...but I will NOT EVER AGAIN align myself with such a fraud over a diet that is really a mesh/distortion of other established, well-respected diets already in existence. SHE IS A FRAUD and that alone should sway the collective "you."

"I find it somewhat refreshing in this age of publicity hungry people (think Paris Hilton et al.) that someone like Kimmer is choosing to keep their private life private. I wonder if our current climate of National Enquirer / talk show voyeurism makes us feel that we have the right to invade people's privacy? Someone not making a quest for fame and publicity when they clearly have the forum to do so confuses us. In our culture, when we find a guru, we also tend to want to hold them to impossible standards.

I found out more about Kimmer through the low carb friends forum when the diet was published in WW, and was amazed at how prolific she was, and made the choice to join here at that time. Since then, I went back to read the anti-Kimmer stuff once, and was saddened at how people can waste their time on such garbage. There are a lot of injustices in the world, if you're going to pick a cause, I would hope that it would be more meaningful than worrying about other people's diets."

I agree...I also lost 30 pounds fast and with absolutely NO HUNGER and being FAT all my life, having no hunger at all was the best part of it. A fat person has hunger all the time, even after just eating and to have none was the best. I did get down to 100-300 cals a day and had to force myself to eat because I knew it was wrong. I also had probelms trying to up cals when I figured out this was unhealthy (hair loss helped) and this was a scam. Then I got mad. Not so much at Kimmer, but at myself for being so stupid and looking for the Golden Egg as always and falling for her scam. I know it wasn't my fault. Kimmer is good at what she does and I really feel for those still there and following a diet, that yes, you will lose, but at what cost in the end? Hopefully, not your life!

So Sammysmom (did I get that right? if not, sorry)...no one is trying to make you change your mind, if you believe in the diet, so be it...if you believe in the Scam...good for you. Yes, I would welcome anyone who wants to "come on over", whether i knew them or not! Not many of us know each other here but we are all here to keep the information flowing of how bad this diet really is and we are just trying to save someone's life. Even if we never know we did.

So again I say, Welcome to you and all your comments be they good or bad are welcome here. Also...you never said if you read Becky's blog or not? Just wondering....I know we all respected Becky a lot and value her opinion.

I think you will find sammy, that a lot of us on here care about people we don't know. That's why we have been posting this stuff like mad women to save people from doing damage to their metabolism. While you may not feel the effects of it now, it WILL do damage to your metabolism, all you have to do is read all the posts from Wifezilla and controlled carb and Sherrilc. They are using actual facts to prove this.

The point? We do care. I hope you know that.

This was posted 20 hours ago and directed at Kimmer. No response. I guess she is trying to come up with a good answer

"To Kimmer 20 Hours, 15 Minutes ago"

"I am far away from maintenance at the moment, but I wanted to ask Kimmer about maintenance on Kimkins. Since the diet is very restrictive when it comes to calories, how do you transition into maintenance (meaning calories). Or do I just increase my carbs first while keeping my calories low?

How did you transition? (Kimmer) Do you eat "bad" carbs now? Can you maintain your weight when you eat those "bad carbs" or do you gain weight? What can I expect when I reach my goal?(Except for a very loud yippieee ) The weight loss is really stunning in my case, I usually drop a pound or two a week when dieting, even on Atkins induction. So I am not mad because of the little stall that I am experiencing right now (bathroom issues - you know....) I am just wondering how you keep the weight off, and how many calories do you eat daily? Do you still keep track of your calories and carbs daily? Do you exercise? Sorry, I know questions, questions, questions....."

My favorite part of this is that it says right there that they admit the diet is an injustice. They just don't like that anyone has chosen *that injustice to focus on.
