Even if we are just talking about Tippy and LisaJ..... demanding and trying to FORCE them to admit a mistake just aint the way to go. If it's jacked up like we think it is, they'll see it in their time.. but not cuz we said they must.

I'm a rebel..... and stubborn... and that kind of DEMANDS would just pizz me off and make me do the opposite.

Well, here's my thinking on it... anyone who is still over there at this point (especially the admins), is a party to the fraud. Now, I'm not talking about the members who are there just to see the show or the ones who are there for their friends... I'm talking the angry, bitter staunch supporters who come out swinging or, worse, the ones who are actively trying to sell the program or get others to drink the Koolaid... those folks are in it up to their necks and there's no point trying to save them. They're driven by something-- power, money-- but it isn't love, compassion, integrity, or morals. For those, I say... why bother trying to save them?

I agree, Allie. I think it's better just to back off. They obviously do not want to listen and the more others demand that they listen, the more they are going to dig their heels in. I'm the same way. If someone demands something of me, it just makes me go the opposite direction.

There is plenty of info out there and if they can't see what is happening, they will just have to take what is coming to them. I think we should concentrate on Hidey/Kimmer and leave the others alone.

I'm not demanding or trying to FORCE anyone to do anything. I agree that if you demand anything of someone will most likely cause that person to rebel, but I wasn't demanding. I simply asked her to read it. I was once, in a way, just like her. I didn't want to change my mind, either. I was very strongly convinced that Kimmer was right and everyone else was wrong and vowed to be a follower until the end. It wasn't until I started reading and listening that my eyes began to open as to what was really going on. Of course it may not happen instantly, but getting people to at least think about it just might change things.

I am so very grateful that my main "eye openers" didn't just have a "maybe I should just drop it" kinda attitude. Otherwise, I'd still be walking in the dark.

Well, and to take this a step further, there have been a lot of people who have come here since the truth has come out, people from Hideys site, who have said, "I was so wrong, thank you for doing this" I don't think it's so impossible to think they'll come here and want to join us....

I totally agree...There will be people who "see the light" and want some help upping their calories and this site has been wonderful in helping people transistion..This has been true for many boards.

Some people may continue to do KK with no side effects and think that Kimmer is the best thing since LC sliced bread. Well, that's their opinion..We can only present the truth here and if they accept it fine, if not, then they will have to live with the consequences of their decision.

I had to copy and paste, since the thread was ending. Technical difficulty huh? LOL. All of the members used to send me the sweetest PM's, and were always so appreciative. I only stayed on as long as I did, because of the people there. In all truth, I quit that WOE in January or so. I was just constantly sick to my stomach. Thank you for your post. I know that there couldn't have been any member complaints. But, we've already figured out that Heidi isn't the brightest bulb. LOL.

Now the there is the "new" Kk plan that cycles Atkins/Kimkins, they may not come here. If they start that, they may be OK and never change their opnions. Sounds like the Maintenance will be similar too. But for those who do come, we will all welcome them. Not like a lot of us haven't been there ourselves.

I don't really think that cycling KK and Atkins is really healthy..It's like eating every other week, which I don't think works for most of us. LCers need healthy fats all the time, not every other week. And, you are right, Kat..this board is chock full of supporting, loving

I remember a time when I was in a Kimkins yahoo group. During this time, I had discovered the fraud that was Kimmer myself.. I decided not to interrupt the peaceful, friendly flow of the group and bring up the issues through the list. I left the group quietly and posted my feelings on my own blog.

At the time, one of the women in that group who I had grown very fond of and had begun reading her blog and posting comments back and forth.. well, she wasn't very happy with my comments about Kimkins on my blog and her comments disappeared. It was sad, really...

I'm glad she's come around now though and that I didn't have to "get into it" with her, as I'm sure we never would have been able to become friends if I had, due to her support of Kimkins at that time.

That being said.. This thread here is quite different. This is not a Kimkins support thread, or a "we love Kimmer" thread.. and anyone posting here, knowing full well the intent of this thread, is open to comments by others.

Sammymomma has been posting in these threads for a long time, always with some kind of "Well, Kimmer is wonderful" statement, and now we know her identity within Kimkins and her role of relaying information over there. That doesn't sit well with many people, self included.

As for people still involved in Kimkins apologizing.. I'm not holding my breath. Many people have left KK and apologized and they have been welcomed by many forums across the web. At this point, with all the information readily available about Kimmer/Heidi's scams, there is no excuse for remaining her loyal servant and I won't be buying their apologies so quickly anymore, should they ever come.
