But here's the critical difference: I'm pretty damn sure that your niece doesn't go on an Internet board boasting about her imaginary lush hair, or her imaginary intensive skincare regimen that keeps her looking like a child bride, or milking the imaginary abuse of her imaginary foster boys for sympathy, or inventing a starvation diet to con people out of money on the basis of her imaginary 198-pound weight loss, and viciously mocking people who aren't "tough enough" to match her imaginary exploits.

The ONLY reason Kimmer is up for grabs on ANY of these topics is that SHE PUT THAT BS OUT THERE.

Hmmm. First of all, I don't think Hidey has much goin on in the feeling department, so I doubt any of the ridicule has much affect. Secondly, don't forget that karma is, well, karma. Hers IS coming around, but so will everyone else's, eventually...personally I think making the effort to make someone feel pathetic is damaging to the soul.

Besides, I don't think that laying off the ridicule makes the outcome any less sweet.

Hey I'd love to look like Sophia Loren - but I don't pass myself off as a look-alike on the computer. As far as I'm concerned she insulted my intelligence and to think that I believe her is beyond me. I guess it was just wishful thinking..... I've always believed what people tell me - call me gullible!

You know I had a bad day yesterday. I for the day let a couple of bullies (faceless no less) bully me off of this thread because they said I was being mean. I've never been mean to anyone in my life. What I realized today is that there are people out there who just want to be ugly to be ugly.

Also what I've realized today is that some people are in pain. And making pictures seems to make them feel better. Who are you, to tell them they can't? This is a public board. If you do not wish to see the pictures hit ignore on the folks who bother you. But none of us aside from the admins has any right to bully anyone off of this thread.,

I'd like for you all to take a look at the name of this thread. "Why the fascination with Kimmer." Well the fascination with her right now is her weight. Point blank. There are several people who were treated so poorly by her and they deserve the same rights as the rest in that they can post what they want.

And after thinking all day about it, I'm not going to let faceless people bully me off of this thread or site. I've made some great friends here and I will continue to post as much as I want. And if an admin finds my post offensive they will remove it. And if you find my post offensive, I ask that you click on my pic and add me to your ignore list. Simple as that.

To Allie and all the others who are expressing pity and feeling bad for Heid-y:

First I want to say that I understand why you do. It is a natural human emotion that GOOD people feel when they see others being harmed. We put ourselves in their position and imagine how miserable they must feel and we empathize with them because we've all had disappointments in life. That's why this is so confusing.

We forget that Heid-y is not normal. She does not have the capability to empathize with others or to feel shame, remorse or pity. Basically, she is the center of her universe and the rest of us exist as toys for her enjoyment. I too, at times, pity her. But I also realize that it is a wasted emotion. The ONLY thing that gets to Heid-y is ridicule because that means that others don't recognize her greatness. That's why I don't feel guilty for my snark. If it gets her goat, it's good.

As for the KK survivors feeling welcome...I consider myself to be one even though I did not join the site. There are a lot of other survivors posting on this thread and, let's be honest, we are the one's who have made the snarkiest remarks because we are the ones who were most damaged by her actions.

This has nothing to do with fat people, cause "I ARE ONE". This is strictly about Heid-y and speaking the only language that she comprehends...ridicule. Early on in this thread, we had a deluge of posters who started confessing about ED's. That was brought about by this thread and people feeling safe enough to finally unburden their souls. In a sense, that's exactly what this spate of snarkiness is about...Unburdening the feelings so that we can move on. Don't try to make us feel guilty because you pity Heid-y, this is something that we/I need to do and as long as the mods delete the worst of it, at least we got to say it first.

I keep seeing references to her ’mental illness’. Having a mental illness (if she indeed has one) does not excuse or explain away the things she has done. If she knows the difference between right and wrong, it’s irrelevant if she has a mental illness or not IMHO. She may have a mental illness. She may be alcoholic, but that doesn’t give her a free pass to do the things she’s done.

If you take the mental illness and the alcoholism off the table, you’d still be left with the same thing - a woman who has no conscience, a woman who has cruelly tried to humiliate people who could not stick to her unrealistic Kimkins program, a woman who stole 60.00 from a lot of people with the promises of a miracle diet program that she plucked out of the air, and a woman who will ride this out until she’s either forced by law to shut down or until no one is knocking on the Kimkin’s door anymore with 60.00 in hand.

Unfortunately some people in this life are just evil. That doesn’t mean that a mental illness label should excuse that.

She’s duped a lot of people out of money, and so far, she hasn‘t been stopped. It’s frustrating, and it’s sad. I work hard every day, and while 60.00 isn’t a lot of money to me, it can be a lot of money to a lot of people, and she’s apparently felt no guilt about taking it.

I am a very generous person, and I will give you just about anything I have if you need it, but don’t steal it from me because I can‘t dig deep enough to find forgiveness for that. I can well understand why so many are angry and frustrated, and if it makes them feel better to make funny pictures or avatars or make comments, more power to ‘em.

This is not a slam against anyone. We are all entitled to our opinions, and this is mine.

Seem like I have a silencing effect piekins hehe. Also I'd like to add that I didn't see a single fat joke in any of those pics. Just because a person uses a picture of heidi in a joke picture does not make it a fat joke. The dominoes picture was perfectly acceptable because it dealt with a key point of her fake diet.

Also to expand on what Diva said, Heidi was mean, really mean to fat people, it stands to reason her karma would be having people say mean things about her. It's the give and take of the world.

And I meant to disrespect to any poster with my thoughts. But again for us to say who can and can't say what on this site makes us no better than heidi. Just a thought.

The mental illness thing irks me too. Especially her saying she can't meet people because she's agoraphobic. I have lived with agoraphobia and it's not fun. To see her walking to her green van with her stacks of mail while I have a hard time even leaving the house makes me boiling mad. She is not agoraphobic, she's just an obese woman who won't meet people because she is professes to weigh 118 lbs. To use a terrible illness to deceive people is heartless.

That's my concern. Drop the hint that ther's a mole over here (who cares) divert attention and haul butt outta town. Sadly we have no way to know if she bails because she does have people (referred to as minions) who will do her work for her (hey Tippy) so that no one realizes what's up. But I wonder when they will realize there's a problem? When the money doesn't show up in their paypal account? When their computer get's siezed for being part of a fraud? I still think more is to come within the next week, and I'm sorry but I can't wait to see how it unfolds. It is cathardic to watch the end of something so terrible.

I'm glad to hear you say that. Somehow lumping her in with people who do have legitimate mental illnesses somehow is a slap in the face to those people. The ones that despite their mental illness (depression, agoraphobia, anxiety, whatever) still get up every day and work hard to get by in this world by being decent people.

hmmm that's weird (interesting?) The truth's blog has the location as Queensland Australia. There aren't THAT many aussies (let alone Queenslanders) on LCF. And as far as I'm aware, Kimkins isn't known in Australia (i.e we didn't get an article in a diet mag to my knowledge), the only way I know about scamkins/heidi is because I've been on these boards for a number of years.

The truth's blog has the location as Queensland Australia. There aren't THAT many aussies (let alone Queenslanders) on LCF. And as far as I'm aware, Kimkins isn't known in Australia (i.e we didn't get an article in a diet mag to my knowledge), the only way I know about scamkins/heidi is because I've been on these boards for a number of years.
