If the diet is nutritionally adequate at all times, cycling up and down does prevent adaptation. Kimkins is not nutritionally sound, not adequate. Nobody adapts to malnutrition, but a better plan will prevent it from taking hold as severely. Bodybuilders cycle between a catabolic and an anabolic diet to get or maintain their "figures."

ryudragon...that was me (katinsac/tinklc)...and yes, our so called warning was his yelling at us that if we didn't like it we could leave! I also felt that thread was to voice your opnion and be able to discuss the controversy but we know now...it was just to weed out the nea sayers! Oh well...revenge is such a sweet reward. Can't wait until they all go down!

Personally, I don't care about the money! She has defruded many and her WOE is UNHEALTHY and causes LIFE DAMAGE (in some). I want to see her shut down!

Because it was all a scam, I'd like to see her have to refund money to all members (current & banned) AND shut down!

I have yet to join the lawsuit - both because I have not been banned (I guess if you don't post, they don't have a good reason to restrict your ability to do so - haha), and because I am uncomfortable with the sue happy nature of society.. I'm out $60 because I bought into a charlatan. I knew it was TGTBT, but I wanted so MUCH to believe.

If I were to join the lawsuit, however, it would be for no reason other than to see her shut down so she can't hurt people. That way I wouldn't need to lurk over there anyway, just to try to 'reach out' to people before they start trying to starve themselves to death for KK entertainment.

You don't need to be banned. You paid the money based on fraudulent information (kimmer losing the weight). I'm sure I'll never see any money from the lawsuit but I don't want kimmer to get to keep it.

I don't understand why Tippy is presenting HER plan as the maintenance plan.

If Tippy believes Kimmer, and if Tippy thinks the pictures and slamboard articles are just a plot by the ex-partner, then why isn't Tippy asking Kimmer for the details of Kimmer's maintenance plan, the one that kept the weight off Kimmer for the last.. 6 years?

To me, this says that Tippy does know that Kimmer did not lose the weight or keep it off. and yet she is still closing her eyes to the fraud that is on the home page about Kimmer's weight loss story. The story that says that Kimmer lost 198 lbs in 1 year on Kimmers. The incredible weight loss story that sold the diet not only to the Women's world customers... but to the people here at LCF.

what is wrong with this picture? terribly wrong?

I have to agree. I am very uncomfortable about making fun of anyone's appearance and I have been guilty of laughing at a lot of these works of art. (and they really are!LOL!) But, I sure wouldn't want the same to be done to me.

Also, we need to be careful about what we say about people we think are Kimmer's minions. Think about what your position would have to be to be able to do what needs to be done to bring about justice. Things may not always be as they appear and the best place to hide something is right in plain view.
Something to think about.

There's plenty to criticize Kimmer for, but making fun of her for being fat is inappropriate.
