Cheryl, you really should install the Google toolbar. It has a spellchecker that will spellcheck anything that you type on the Internet with a single click of the button. It's a lifesaver for a poor typer like me.

We have people of all shapes and sizes here.. Some are just starting their weightloss journey... some are in the middle... and some are at goal. Please don't forget that it hurts to see others making fun of someones appearance. Also... I personally know someone that has problems with their teeth and are trying to get them fixed.... and I am sure there are others. This is a big site. We cannot forget that it is hurtful to alot of people when they see someone post a picture of someone elses head on a heavy person. They see people making fun of them and think well.... if they are making fun of that person what do they think of me? I have had people PM me in tears saying they are upset and hurt by others making fun of people for their looks... even asking me why is it allowed? Well... its not allowed and you all do know this. I realize that emotions are running high over the kimkins issues but please do not post pictures or distort images in photoshop to make fun of her or anyone else. Nobody deserves that. And like I said... people are getting very hurt by it. I am sure you all would hate it if someone left this site because they are offended. Remember this is a supportive site so before you post making fun... think again... it is hurting alot of peoples feelings. And I know you all wouldn't want to do that.

Hi Cheri .... Nice to meet you!

This makes me very sad, very sad ! I understand what you are saying!!!! We would NEVER hurt the feelings of the members here. My Gosh... we came to this site for the same reason.
I look in the mirror and see a "gap between my teeth that would allow a train to run threw", I have more pimples than a teenager, I cut out the grey hairs every morning, the wrinkles are wider than the Grand Canyon. My eye lids almost cover my eyes because they sag so much.

We can all find faults about our appearance. This is about Heidi.

Making fun of Kimmer is giver her back the medicine she gave everyone for years. She made so many nice people feel "foolish" and belittled them if they weren't losing a pound a day. She said they were weak, she put herself up on a pedestal and made most believe that she was some kind of a diet guru.

We would NEVER make fun of our members, we are ALL family NO MATTER THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE ( or how long it takes to lose).

We can finally all come together and say what most have thought for years but were NEVER ALLOWED.

I love how close this has brought everyone across the miles, across the posts and forums. I agree with Cheri and Melly, we sure don't want to stoop as low as they go. We are better than that.

I know its wrong...but some of them are, well......sooooo funny!!!
I laugh but then I feel guilty! but I agree with some others, that we are only i(n light of all that has happened), making fun of someone who has been caught with their hand in the cookie jar..( no pun intended!) and took advantage of, and as some PMs have proved, she laughed at some people her herself.

I can't tell on the website if the KK article was submitted or not, it just shows the magazine cover. Maybe with a paid membership someone could see exactly what article was submitted through them. There are other ways besides that company to submit articles to WW. I referenced that earlier.

IMO the heat needs to be turned up again on WW. Like the person who went out in a blaze of glory by posting 57 times at KK before being banned last night. Certainly between all of us we can get at least 57 emails, phone calls or letters out directing them to Christin's (their covergirl's) blog and Becky's newest which is excellent and Deni's. Also posting reviews of their magazine on Amazon, etc... It is so troubling if they only questioned Heidi about laxative use and dropped it from there. They need to be held accountable for their role in promoting KK.

I actually posted a picture of a real person no photoshopping involved except for sunglasses and a red dress - I did not use anybody's head, but I don't know if that's the post you mentioned. I apologize for upsetting anybody, I would never make fun of anybody because they're sick, overweight, too skinny or anything else. I would never want to upset anybody except Mrs. Diaz. I thought it was funny because the woman in the picture looks like Kimmer and I just added the sunglasses and the red dress. Again sorry if anyone was offended. Not my intention.

Oh, I'm with you on that! A national magazine has an obligation to print verified information, especially when it comes to health! This isn't some light, fluffy gossip article-- this is people's bodies. It's potential life and death. I definitely think they should be held accountable. At the bare minimum, they owe us a retraction and an apology.
