It made my stomach turn when I saw it, and to think it was sent that way to that...(don't want to get banned, so I'll say...) woman! I don't remember talking about the domain info at all, but I must have made a comment to the poster who it was copied from, and she was thanking me for something...I dunno what.

I don't think it will pose any problems, other than some may look at my name and wonder if I'm on the up and up. That does kind of bother me, because I'm a real straight shooter, and I'm definitely NOT on Kimmer's side.

It's only Kimmer's amateur opinion. And that opinion isn't worth any more than the rest of her diet.

What doctor has evaluated this diet to say whether it is or isn't safe?

I had successfully done a low carb plan about 7 years ago. But when I read about Kimkins...I just knew it would help me lose the extra weight before my 10th anniversary.

All it has done is given me a borderline ED. Even though I haven't followed it in a few months, I still mentally beat myself up for eating cheese. Or using more than a drop of salad dressing on a salad. Or using oil/butter to cook with.
I still have trouble adding veggies back, averaging a small salad a day.
I still fret I may be eating too many calories.
I *never* ever had this problem before.

I wonder about my thyroid. Has it been affected? Is the extra hair loss I've been experiencing the past few months a result of this? What about the horrendous cramps? Has Kimkins messed up my hormones as well?

I signed the petition the day it came out. Thank goodness Heidi didn't receive any money from me. But she did get a part of my sanity.

So to all of you who are tirelessly working to expose her- I applaud you.

Someone responded to this and suggested she might be using aliases. Could be. However, it is possible to work a limited amount and collect SSDI. "Most agencies". What about the foster care agencies? Are they so desparate they don't check people out thoroughly? We even get fingerprinted here. I don't know what I've done to my fingers, but they have a tough time getting my prints. Well, not this time...it was copied from a real comment on LCF...someone was thanking me for something at the top of the comment and the rest of the comment was where the info was that the KK side wanted. Kakay, as far as the KK admins, I don't think $$$ is the lure. I think it's obvious that they are enticed by what they perceive as power and status. I also wonder why, if they believe so strongly in their choice, they aren't eager to defend that choice.

ETA that missi, you made the right decision in not letting innocent people get caught in the crossfire. I wouldn't want our quest for the truth to get as ethically-challenged as what we were trying to shut down! It may take longer to get info, but I will sleep better knowing that the rights of innocent people are being looked after.

An FYI regarding Heidi and her use of contractors....unless the contractors are located in CA, they do not fall under CA jurisdiction. The labor law in their state would apply. Each state has varying levels of leniency when it comes to classification of employee vs contractor. From what these people do, they could very well be legitimately classified as contractors. All it would take to start a state investigation into that would be for anyone who worked for her to make an unemployment claim in their state. The unemployment department would send a notice to Kimkins demanding details about the work that person did for her and what they were paid. If the state deems that they were an employee, Kimkins would be responsible for all the state employment taxes, and in some states, she'd have to prove that the company also had disability and/or worker's compensation policies. That's assuming Kimkins is incorporated. I have no idea how they would treat an individual in that situation.

Not true. We are not incorporated and have no tax ID# other than a SS#. We pay contractors and send them a 1099 at the end of the year. We do not need to have worker's comp on any of them or unemployment insurance.

If you don't register your company, you get a bill later and it is a nominal fee.
