Nope, I spent most of the day with my niece watching an America's Next Top Model marathon, doing hair, nails, lipgloss and generally acting like a 13yo. I am back to being an adult now

Moderators/Admin at Kimkins you should all be ashamed of yourselves. By remaining at Kimkins you are showing your support for Kimmer. Wise up and take a good look at yourselves. I don't know if its that some of you just don't care or whether you are really not thinking straight?

Regarding getting a doctor's opinion before starting any diet this is really good in practice but just remember most doctor's don't have a hell of a lot of training in nutrition. With the internet the individual is a lot more informed about diet then your average doctor. So get your doctor's advice but also realise that he or she doesn't know it all. Read and keep yourself informed and take responsibility for your own health.

I agree. That was totally wrong. Of course, this whole thing is totally wrong. My journal wasn't all that long, but I copied it and all my posts, PM's etc. I deleted my own journal. I did all that several weeks ago, just in case.

I submitted a dispute to Paypal so I'm anticipating a banning.

one of the former kk admins pointed out elsewhere that heidi has gone from appointing "nice" people to being admins to intentionally asking "mean" people to be admins.

that was an interesting and "spot on" observation, imo.

originally admins were there to help, encourage, answer questions etc....but now, it seems that their primary role is patrolling the site as the kk police squad.

Beyond the fact all the truly nice admins have left, who better to take the blame when the roof falls in than those who are willfully blind and emulate their leader's example? If Heidi can be snarky and ban people for looking sideways, then the present admins will do at least as good ...er ... bad. But while they're putting out brushfires, a huge conflagration is sweeping up on them unawares. Ah, the politics and deception of power!

It's not on her hard drive, so she can throw it into the middle of the ocean and not get rid of the backups. The website is hosted by Liquid Networks according to another post a ways back. They have the evidence.

Here is a link for those of you with hair loss. It says that people with PCOS can take 5-8 gm a day of biotin which is 5000-8000mg. If you take too much, it just gets wasted in your urine. To get this large of an amt., you would want to use the powdered biotin. You can get it from Life Extension site. I have been using 1/2 -1 tsp per day of the powder since starting Kimkins and I still think my hair has thinned, but not a lot.

Hello Im not much of a poster but I am truly glued to this thread lately. LOL! Some interesting stuff. What has me puzzled is this. I never knew kimmer or did her diet but I used to talk to tippy and I thought sure if my memory serves me correct, that she once said that she lost most of her weight on atkins and now she says it was kimmers. Could some one please tell me If I am right. And also I am like most of you, I cant for the life of me understand why any one would become an admin at kimkins and especially now, unless it is for power. I am so confused. OH an missi you seem to be my kind of gal saying it like it is. You rock, keep up the good posting and thanks in advance if any one can tell me if I am right or wrong on how tippy toes says she lost weight in the beginning.

I did like Singing Lass' response when someone asked her to "expand on the TOS" violation when your journal was deleted. Sound familiar?

The journal in question, various posts made across the boards, and that individual's signature were being utilized to bring in/ link to the negativity elsewhere. They knew full well what they were doing and why things had to be removed....as was seen in their boasts elsewhere. The policy regarding such behavior has been made pretty clear, both by Kimmer, and the requests of the members here wanting to be able to focus on their weight loss without the interuption of those who participate only to cause problems or report to other sites.

That's funny. I really didn't "boast" about it as I was trying to fly under the radar. Took them about 3 days to even notice.
